Had a massage with Richelle! AMAZING! She knows her stuff and is soo good! I have struggled with neck and back injuries for soo long and she is dealing with them soo awesomely. I highly recommend!

We tried this spa for the first time today. We did an hour long couples steam.
It was so incredibly relaxing.
We were welcomed by such a kind woman at the front desk. She gave us clear instructions, and then left us for some quiet time.
The steam room, shower room and changing area was so CLEAN. The towels smelled nice, and having extra was a bonus.
The steam was easy to control, and the aromatherapy a nice extra touch.
I also liked that it wasn’t single use toiletries, so as not to be a waste. The body scrub felt so good after that steam!
Thank you for a great experience, we can’t wait to come back again.

Excellence experience all around. Went for a couples steam and it was a great time. The building is clean and quiet. The staff were wonderful. The price was the best around central AB.

I’ve been here a couple times for the steam bath, and it’s been a great experience so far. The staff is great, and the facilities are clean and tidy. It’s worth a visit if you’re looking to relax.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most heavenly massages at sylvan steam & Spa. From the moment I stepped into the tranquil atmosphere of the spa, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff greeted me warmly and made me feel instantly relaxed and comfortable.
Upon entering the treatment room, I was greeted by my therapist, Rachelle. Her calming presence and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. Before beginning the massage, she took the time to understand my specific needs and any areas of tension I wanted her to focus on. Her attention to detail and willingness to personalize the treatment were truly commendable.
As Rachelle started the massage, I found myself drifting into a state of complete relaxation. Her expert hands glided effortlessly across my body, using the perfect amount of pressure to alleviate any knots and tightness. I particularly appreciated her ability to intuitively find the areas that needed extra attention, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and tension-free.

Our experience here has always been a great one! Beautiful atmosphere and great facility.
Our only complaint is that the building's fire alarm was going off on our last visit and the poor staff had no way of dealing with it as the building owner is out of town on weekends and he had the only access to the control panel. Thankfully, we could not hear it in the steam baths but the same could not be said for the poor staff in the rest of the building.
But overall, we would highly recommend!

I was honestly hoping to give this place a 5 star but it felt short on several critical areas. I had a massage and a facial.
Starting with the massage, it was in a very cold room. I mentioned this to the therapist multiple times that it was cold. The response was it was a centralized air system and out of her control. I’ve been to dozens of massage places and never had an experience where it was so cold that it wasn’t enjoyable. While she did turn the bed heat on it didn’t change the fact that my nose was feeling cold. She said it was because it was cold outside. Room temperature is important. I’d say the massage itself was mediocre
From there I moved into a facial. I was clear that I was worried about aging discoloration and wanted the therapist to review it. There as a machine and she said she would but it never got done. She did say I had no age spotting or discoloration which made no sense as they are visible. I’d say the facial was ok
Overall this place underwhelmed me which is most unfortunate

I had been having issues with pain in my shoulders and a pinched nerve in my neck for many months, I was doing what was recommended by practitioners but was only able to get temporary relief.
I booked in to see Rachelle for a deep tissue massage hoping for some longer term relief, and she delivered! She listened, made a treatment plan, and now after following her treatment plan for 3 months, I finally have long term relief from my shoulder and nerve pain. I would recommend Rachelle and her intuitive massage treatments to anyone seeking muscle pain relief.

The receptionist Cassy was amazing and super accommodating when one of our massage therapists wasn’t able to do our couples massage due to illness. Thanks Cassy!

It was very dim lighting where they did our nails. Found lots of mistakes when we left. We both had gel nails done. Mine started peeling off in afew days. No we would not recommend this place

I just discovered this place! It's absolutely beautiful and so clean. I had an hour steam and it was beyond relaxing and the lady at the front was so nice and friendly. I'm definitely going back lots!

Had facials booked with my sister, we both loved it. They didn’t have any openings for the time we requested but called us back with an appointment time for us together. We’ll definitely be back.

Have been coming here for years for steams, massages, and pedicures. I always have a great experience! The new doors on the steam rooms are an awesome upgrade!
