There career search service which I paid for wasn't promising to me in anyway I looked at it and I have moved on. I have also asked them to discontinue representation of my file if they were doing so.

Be wary when using this company. They like to use Fomo tactics to entice you into signing a service contract with them.

This is predatory, and is likely done to get you locked into dealing with them, and paying their prices.

I have no doubt they do fantastic work, but they are likely charging more than they need to, and this tactic is how they get people to pay.

They pushed me in several emails, asking me about paying them for representation (and I paid for consultation), refusing to answer simple questions till I did, and then when I told them that I would be waiting a few months to hire them. Instead of respecting that, they send me an email with a LIMITED TIME OFFER for a discount on their services. A common tactic used by people to give you a sense of urgency. To get you to throw reason out of the window when making a decision, because well.you know. Limited time offer!

To add insult to injury, when called out on this. Instead of admitting fault. I was sent an email saying "Good luck" instead of, I apologize, you're right. That's unprofessional, and we should let our work speak for us instead of using manipulation tactics to tie people into paying for our services.

I was impressed with this company up till this point. They are likely charging a substantial amount more than other people would for the same services. Could be hundreds, could be a thousand or more. And I probably would've paid this amount to have the peace of mind that I had professionals handling the paperwork and everything else.

But professionals don't do this sort of stuff. Sorry.

I'd look elsewhere if I were you. There are plenty of immigration lawyers you can talk to. It's a big business.

Now, they've responded, and still instead of admitting that maybe doing business this way might've been a mistake. They try to explain it away. Exactly the type of response I would expect.

Limited time FOMO offers are predatory. I don't care if you've done all the research in the world in regards to this, or if your prices are exactly what someone else would charge. This is a manipulative technique used to entice people to pay, and pay fast.

After talking to a few other immigration services about what I wanted to do. I have now learnt that the information I was given was not correct. I was also misled. I don't know if this was intentional or not. But it happened.

I was talking about bringing a partner to Canada. And was not told the correct way to do things in the consultation I paid for. Which was kind of the point of it. I was not told specifics like the denial rate of the visa, or the requirements for it being incredibly high. And I was not told that bringing my partner up this way would likely result in failure, resulting in me losing well over 4000$ and making it that much harder to get things done in the future. I should've been suggested a conjugal sponsorship. Which, while slightly more expensive, requires significantly more work to prove the validity of the relationship.

They wanted me to sign a service agreement with them before this, and I don't even know if they would've told me this was the correct way of doing things, or if they would've just kept on the path that I thought was correct, without offering a better suggestion.

I just had the worst experience with this guys even after booking a consultation with them they cancelled it and blamed it on me.
After trying to contact them they are no where to be seen. No response from anyone in their team.
I don't think this is how a legal team should be doing.
Anyway you can keep whatever consultation fee you charged me.

I just got my work permit recently with their help! I am looking for immigration consultants agency which would help us in our work permits and pr application in the future, we are glad that they were able to find SYMY team!

They are very transparent in everything, from their fees (no hidden charges), to documentations, transactions are also smooth.
I also want to highlight their responsiveness to our queries, they always make sure that they respond to emails or questions in 24-48hours which I really appreciate!
I also don’t need to do follow ups with our applications since they are updating us every time there is an update on our application.

We are now also preparing and inquiring with them for our next application which is a big help as we don’t need to look for another consultants & explain our situation, submit documents (since we already have a file with them) and start all over again.
