Edit: I contacted the customer service email in the reply. They asked for a bunch of information from me, receipts, dates, address. I went out of my way to provide all of the screenshots and information, only to receive a 'thanks, we retrained our staff' and that's was it. Not sure why I even bothered. Great customer service you guys have, thanks for the inedible meals
This was definitely the worst Taco Bell experience I've ever had.
Ordered a vegetarian meal with beans and it came with beef instead. All of the fries were cold and stale and we were only given one drink out of two. Not sure what's going on with the nightshift here but they clearly don't care about their jobs at all, and it shows.
Update: I sent out an email to Taco Bell on June 15 with all the details as requested in this Comment's response. I have not heard anything back even after 3 months.
Absolutely terrible food. They cheap out on pretty much everything, fill everything just with lettuce. Should take away franchise from the owner. Completely ruined Taco Bell for me.
Hard to rate the meal when each taco had barely 2 small marble sized pieces of beef. Literally 2 pieces of shredded cheese and a few strands of shredded lettuce. Really not sure the values there for essentially a dirty tortilla
Will not be back. We drove through and the missed half of our order. We live 15 minutes away, so I will say that the manager was willing to accommodate us, but like, drive 30 minutes to pick up 9 dollars in food?
The food we did get was a slight upgrade to dog food and there was no chicken on our chicken burrito supreme. Just an all out lousy experience in general. Do not recommend.
Is it any wonder why most of the Taco Bell locations in Edmonton have gone out of business? Go to this location and you will see why. At what point is corporate going to step in here?
Absolutely disgusted by the food I ordered. I ordered my food with beans instead of beef because I’m vegetarian and religiously cannot have beef. However, after taking two bites of my food I realized I had just ate beef. I felt disgusted and gross after that. They make mistakes constantly at this lcoation.
No fire sauce. And they don't take American Express at this location. Customer service is lacking. Mopping the dining room floor while we're eating. I won't be back here again.
Very disappointed with the way food is packaged. Grilled cheese burritos are wrapped with regular wrapping paper with both sides sticking to the paper looking disgusting. Waste of money! Bad service!
Literally worst customer service ever, employees are rude when taking order.asked if they had baja blast freeze and they said yes but gave me a regular.when i asked for the freeze they said that they cant make it rn but still charged me for a freeze? I was in a rush in the drive threw so i just brushed it off.food was cold, cinnamon twists had absolutely no cinnamon and fries tasted old.tacobell has always been disappointing with service and food, last time coming to this location for sure.
The people complaining have high expectations… this is a fast food restaurant. It sucks working in fast food. BRING YOUR EXPECTATIONS DOWN or go to Earls or something. People are ridiculous. These types of people will never be satisfied in their lives. Anyway, food is great (for a fast food chain), service was as fast as can be. I seriously cannot stand all these jerks giving taco bell a bad rating. Like go somewhere else if you can’t accept that fast food is not restaurant quality food. Get a grip…
I ordered through DoorDash, which said the location was open, which it normally is, only to have the driver get there and the store was closed. Not the first time it’s happened. They need to be better. I realize it was the 26th of December, but I made sure to check that their DoorDash said they were open. And online it said may affect hours but not that it did so I expected them to be open.
I just want to thank the staff here they were all very nice and they were all happy smiling faces and they were on point the food was good gotta love Taco Bell clean friendly service with a smile and good food 5 stars Are here once I’ll do it again
It’s just like any typical Taco Bell, just with a nice modern looking dining room, in regards to the food not bad but just not filling either. Good place to go once in a while
Just tried to come in and bring my resume but the ladies working must have thought doing god knows what was more important then tending to customers…. Seriously I stood at the counter for five minutes requesting service while I was just being ignored
What happened to this location? No chicken for their Taco Bell items. I understand things can go wrong with deliveries. But it has been months. No mild sauce. I like to treat myself to Taco Bell once in a while. Their food is never fresh. I ordered the spicy big crunch and the lettuce tasted rotten as you can see from the picture. Has this location come under new ownership? I don't expect much from fast food. But don't serve paying customers rotten gross food.
My wife worked late and stopped for dinner. She spent $35 and drove the 6 mins.home. The chicken in her wrap was WAY too dry to eat. It was as if they replaced what should have been beef in my crunch wrap with a gallon of sour cream. THERE WAS NO BEEF! And didn't there used to be green onions on the fries supreme? There was also NO HOTSAUCE in the bag. So what's the deal? Owners too cheap? Back in the day, taco bell was inexpensive and good. Now it's expensive and disgusting. Thanks capitalism and globalism and covid and greed and incompetence. Now I have to make dinner. This ruined the evening of an already terrible day in the middle of this pandemic hell. I'll pass on Taco Bell/KFC. Its garbage.
I'm not too impressed at all with this place after my visit today. In the past anytime I bought a meal and asked for "quite a bit" of hot sauce they would always give me a handful. Well today I went into this location and ended up spending $18 on a crunchwrap supreme and an order of fries supreme. I was feeling extra brave and thought I'd get extra stuff on my fries, but that turned out to be a huge mistake. The lady working the cash register told me that there would be "an extra charge" but at no point did she tell me exactly how much. It turned out to be an extra $6! I couldn't believe it. And to make things worse when I asked for hot sauce the one lady gave me 4 packets and then just walked away, didn't say "enjoy your day", "enjoy your meal", nothing. I waited around though and asked her for a bit more hot sauce. She then goes on to explain to me that they only give out 2 packets per meal item and that there would be an extra charge for more. I really only wanted 2 extra packets, which another customer who was there was kind enough to donate hers even though she shouldn't have to! If I'm spending $18 on 2 items then I should damn well be entitled to more hot sauce than 4 packets! That's highway robbery and I'm honestly disgusted (and no that's not just the after effects of the food either).
This place has turned into a complete joke and I won't be back. You guys just lost a customer who's been coming to this location for 10+ years.
Discusting customer service. Cold and stale food. Rude employees and nasty food. Staff are so rude. If you don't like your job then do something else with your life. If you wanna sell tacos for a living then be proud of what you do. Learn to cook fresh food and give good customer service you nasty establishment.
The staff member named Komal was extremely rude and when we asked her why she’s being rude she got extremely offended and said she doesn’t want to help us anymore.
The manager Avtar had to step in he was very nice and polite. However the experience was horrible and staff attitude needs serious work hopefully changes are made.
Really disappointed the way Drive thru Counter server response. Looks like team needs a serious customer training. Although the acting supervisor was polite and tried to understand the issue.
This is the worst Taco Bell I ever been. Lady manager is so rude and she told me I can only get two fire sauce per item, if I need extra I have to pay it’s teco bell’s policy and I asked her to show me policy in writing she went back and hide her self.
This taco bell is okay. The service is decent, but a bit slow. I find the food to be pretty all over the place when you unwrap it. Like the tacos just had fallen apart in the wrapping some how. The food tasted good and was pretty warm. All things considered, it's okay.but just okay.
Very bad customer service. Not friendly at all and gives un necessary comments. Telling your customer that everybody knows whatever it is that is serve in your store is the worst. I don't eat here often but with the kind of staff you have, will never be back.
Super lazy staff we were the only people in line and no on in the store and they literally threw every thing in the bag with no care. This is the text book definition of bad quality and service
Don't go here. Worst customer service I've ever received. They made the wrong food item and then they denied it while arguing back and refusing to correct their mistake because of the staffs ego. Literally it's not from your pocket money so why are you arguing back? Leaving the customer happy should be your priority. Don't let your ego get in the way. Also talking about your customer to your coworker can be done after the customer leaves and not right in front of the customer.
Horrible customer service with brown lady but another guy helped out after when I was deciding my new order she wouldn't let my get soft tacos instead of hard tacos and was charging my for free hot sauce really disappointed
Drive thru employee was rude and terrible attitude. Just handed my food and close the window. Didn't even ask me if I need a hot sauce or anything. The food was good. The kitchen staff deserves praise.
Have never gotten our order wrong no matter how intricate or complicated we've had to make it (kids). Not as fast as putting people through like some other fast food places but I'd rather wait for my order and they get it right than to get home just to find out they got it wrong so kudos to the staff!
I only came here because they were open late and I had a craving for KFC. I ordered the boneless combo and they didn't give me the original recipe tenders, nor offer I need dipping sauces. She gave me my order and then walked away from the window and never came back.
I've had good experiences for the Taco Bell side of the menu.
Taco’s were all soggy, straight waste of money. Yet the main issue is they over charged me and never gave/offer receipt and when I checked my card online after the bill total didn’t make sense. I was over priced $10 which isn’t a lot but it’s stealing if ur gonna charge people without telling them, not say the total, not offer or give the receipt. And even if u charged me “by mistake” you should have then given the extra I paid for. But honestly this location always got some issue, I always go to the other locations for this reason. Workers at this location always have a attitude, got salty workers but no salt on their fries smh. Save ur money and get literally anything else
We haven't had taco bell for years because we live a little too far but I couldn't wait to have a chalupa and supreme fries. The fries were great but chalupa had very little chicken and toppings. Disappointing
Love the Cheesy Gordita meal with the Fried Supreme, but like any fast food place had to ask for hot sauce. I wonder if fast food places have a policy to save on condiments as I have noticed no one asks you anywhere I have been if you want any? Why is that?
This specific taco Bell over charges for their food, They say the prices just went up anytime they are asked. Any other taco bell in the city is far cheaper with better service. The establishment is taking advantage of their customers
Taco bell menu says you can replace any protein with beans but not at this store, I am a lifetime customer of Taco bell and first time I noticed someone charged me extra for beans, I don't think Taco bell's policy changed it's only this store. Also not a single hot sauce in the bag, really cheap Be aware of this store. Happy Thanksgiving.
Really bad experience and disappointed about the cold tacos and not fresh at all precisely the lettuce was old and saggy already.customer service has to improve specially when approaching a customer asking what to order.
A CUSTOMER WARNING! Please go to any other taco bell! The wait time was so long and the food was so bad that all we could do was laugh about it. My boyfriend got a beef crunch wrap and a beef gordita.neither had any meat in it and I had gotten a beef burrito no beans and ended up with a burrito with no beef and lots of beans. Typically I could stomach beans not a major deal but it was cold and soggy. Let me tell you that cold soggy bean paste is not it. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Very Very disappointed with the CHEAPNESS of the owner/staff. Ordered 3 combo meals at least 4-5 separate times and asked for 8 Hot sauce and 8 medium sauce and only got 5 Hot sauce. Every time they cheap out and it is not to the lack of hearing on their part because I asked them twice each time and each time they ignore my request. Will never go there again, will go to 23 Ave. Taco Bell next time.
This is by far the most insulting taco bell I’ve ever been to. Everything on there menu looks like it’s shrunk into baby portions. I don’t know if the owner is being cheap but I know taco bells tacos weren’t that small before.
I drive out of my way to go to this location. Always great service. I have complicated orders (kids) and I'm picky myself at times. Never mess up. Quick. Can't complain! Manager is great too. Worth the trip to Ellerslie.
The food is not good and what I order versus what I got resembled nothing that was on the menu. My Crunchwrap had a single tablespoon of meat in it, and was filled with handfuls of lettuce. Ill never waste my money here again.
Horrible place. We ordered veggie barrito and they have us beef one. For the first time we thought it’s a mistake but after few weeks the same thing happened again instead of vagie option they gave us meat. Never recommend to anyone!
Taco bell is never good quality food, but at least it usually satisfies a craving every now and then. This location is one I'd avoid, though. The food quality is pretty bad
Open sign was still on the front and even a sign was on saying the drive thru was open. Was waiting at the drive thru yelling into the speaker for 8 minutes before I finally drove up to the window. I could see people inside but no one was answering. Talked to the women running the till and she said they were closing early for the holiday. That's fine, but there was absolute NO sign posted ANYWHERE letting people know. All the lights were on so it looked like they were still open. If you are closing early at least put up some kind of sign so people know and don't waste their time. Management needs to do better. Guess I'm not getting Taco Bell anymore.
Food is amazing. When I'm down for some quick awesome tacos I'll always go there and is just down the street from my house. I love the loaded fries omg they are the best
This location focuses on the drive-thru traffic to the point that they don't even acknowledge you if you come into the restaurant. Once you finally order your food, you have to wait awhile, even when the restaurant is empty. Last three times I've been there it's been pretty unclean too. Not a prime location.
Food was amazing! We haven’t been able to find a Taco Bell since we moved from ON to Edmonton. Service was good, the lady at the counter was very polite. The food was really good but it lacked a lot of filling, and that’s best part! And the cinnamon twists needed more cinnamon sugar on them, not just a little light dusting! If it wasn’t for those things, totally would have been a 5 star!
