Tava Wok Modern Indian & Indo Chinese Bistro

Was told resturant is open for Christmas day until 10 pm. Reach there at 8 pm to know they are too busy and wont take anymore orders. Short staffed resturant rejected customers 2 hours prior to closing thats crazy.

I went there once but usually order food from them by uber. They have best tasting chana bhatura you will love the taste. Their chats and Chinese is good as well

Food was amazing just like back home. However, sitting area is small but worth spending money on. This is great for ordering online I believe. I just loved honey chilli potatoes, garlic veg noodles, samosa, mango lassi etc.

The butter chicken and aloo tikki chaat is so good! I also appreciate that my order was made on time as i was on my lunch break. Thank you for the delicious food I will definitely be back:)

The chole bhature here were the best I have had in the whole city! 10/10 recommend and very attentive staff and service.

The food here was superb. The Chhole Bhature, Gobhi Parantha, Paneer Tikka and Bomb Chaat were delicious and each bite bursting with authentic flavors. I think these are the best Chhole Bhatura in the town. Special shoutout to Abhishek for exceptional service making it a delightful meal overall.

My wife and I regularly order from Tava Wok. Today we had Samosa Bomb Chaat and Tawa Chicken Masala here and I must say the flavours were amazing. We have never had a bad experience here no matter what we tried. The chef and owner of the restaurant gives attention to detail on every dish available in the menu. 10/10 from our side and we would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for best Indian food.

Amazing amazing Indo Chinese food!
We ordered from them for 20 people for a party ad everyone enjoyed it so much! Next time we went to restaurant to have some Indo chinese and they nailed it! One of the best in Calgary. We have tried multiple places for Indo chinese but this is the besst!

We also ordered some samosas and trust me when I say they are indian style! Perfect spice levels and so good! We bulk ordered 100 samosas for our party next and same amazing taste. They made it a few minutes from the pick up so they were nice and hot for the party!

All in amazing service, amazing taste! It’s a place that is small hidden but a must try!

This restaurant sucks and their food makes your stomach upset and you keep throwing up till the next day. Please do not get food from them especially Dal makhani it’s horrible and poor quality food.

Excellent finger licking tasty food. Both indo-chinese and curry dishes were superb. Authentic taste. Highly recommend!

Kichchad Choley Bhature is an absolute delight! The fluffy bhature and flavorful cholle make a perfect combination. Highly recommended

This was my 1st visit to Tava Wok and I came in with low expectations of its Hakka Chinese food. We had ordered the Chilli chicken, veg noodles and Dragon chicken (kolkata style). The Dragaon chicken hands down was the best tasting. Followed closely by the Chilli chicken and then the noodles. This is by far one of the closest in taste to Hakka Chinese food in Calgary. The staff were attentive and helpful. Although the place was small (4 tables seating 4 each) wasn't sure they had dine in. But the food and staff sold us on us coming back for seconds.

Food is really awesome. Super tasty. Only thing they need is more tables. Otherwise perfect and tasty in every way.

Cholle Bhature, Noodles, Dal Makhni were all very good. The garlic naan was also thin and nice. Had a dessert on owner’s recommendation which had rabri, gulab jamun and kulfi which was also great. Most of all, the server and the owner were awesome to talk to.

I don't generally write reviews, but Tava Wok satisfied my taste buds to a level where it becomes my responsibility to write some good words about their food and service.
If you are looking for authentic Indian taste, I highly recommend this place. All their dishes are full of flavors. I tried chhole bhature, dahi bhalle, paneer chilli, and papdi chaat today, and all the dishes were awesome. The portion size is also very decent.

Their quality service is also worth mentioning. I will visit again soon to try some more new dishes.
