I had a GREAT experience with this taxi service, particularly the driver. Having forgotten a bag at the bus stop on Tunnel Mountain Drive I was anxious to return to try to retrieve it. Within minutes of my call, a taxi was dispatched. When we discovered the bag had been turned in to the route bus driver the taxi driver confidently told me we could intercept the bus at another stop. He calmly, returned to town, radioed to locate the bus and I was able to collect my bag from the driver. The driver then returned me to the restaurant where my husband was waiting for me and I was able to have my breakfast with plenty of time to catch the Rider Express bus home. This was a happy ending to a lovely Banff Winter getaway. Huge thanks to the Banff Taxi Driver for saving the day!
There was this particular male dispatcher I spoke to on the 23 December 2023 and also Christmas Eve! Oh boy! If there was an award for worst customer service no one on earth will take that away from him. He was so dismissive, condescending and impatient. Worst experience ever. I see some cool comments and I think they’re mostly nice to certain type of people. I used the service multiple times for 3 days and all the drivers were hostile. I always couldn’t wait to get off the taxi. Well that’s what happens when a business doesn’t have a competitor. Never ever again.
They saved our butts when the roam bus couldn’t make it back up the hill to the hot springs after a dump of snow this weekend. The driver was very friendly and helpful.
Husband and I used this company twice yesterday and nothing but wonderful things to say! Very prompt and courteous. Will definitely use them again next time we stay in Banff
Dispatcher was a real treat to deal with over the phone. Not sure of the guy’s name but it should be published. Driver was just a headache as well. Walk to your destination if it’s close enough.
If you need to be somewhere on time walk! Dispatch told us it would be a 10 minute wait turned into and hour and 10 minutes. If you're making people wait for an hour tell them so they can do other things in the mean time. Would not recommend anyone use their service.
Our short cab ride was not exceptional until I realized I had left a small backpack in the cab. The dispatcher found the bag and delivered it to the front desk of a downtown hotel. This saved me several electronic gadgets and countless worry.
Dispatch was very rude and not helpful. We were too single females visiting and were told we had to go to the back of the visitor information centre parking lot for pickup. It was late and we were uncomfortable. If the dispatcher had told us politely how to proceed or to flag a cab on the corner it would be better. Overall very disappointed! Not tourist friendly!
Absolutely terrible experience. Our rude driver Dereck wanted to charge us per person, even though we were all going to the same location. Not only that, he overcharged us and made it seem like we were lucky that he gave us such a great "deal". Attitude was terrible, very disrespectful. Avoid this company, they are out to scam you.
Every phone call I've had, the dispatcher is always rude. Everyone I've talked to has had a similar experience where he corrects costumers and gets upset when given a street address. I'm very dissapointed that one of Banff's only taxi services, a company that will then ask for a tip, will treat locals, and tourists as more of a hassle than as a guest.
This cab company loooves to take advantage of the drunk people they drive. I was the sober one in our group and a friend was paying with their machine. Accidentally put their pin in the tip option and asked to cancel and start again. The driver then put the accidental tip onto the full amount so he’d still get this accidental tip. When i mentioned why he was being scummy he said he’ll do what he wants. Would hate to know how many other individuals this man takes advantage of to get extra cash.
Fast, reliable service with friendly drivers! Taxi Taxi saved our butts while in Banff while we were running very late for a reservation. Highly highly recommend
Told the dispatcher we would be 10 minutes away. Once in the cab (8 minutes later) the driver complained about having to wait for us and was dismissive the rest of the drive while we tried to make friendly conversation. Decent ride and drove us from town to the Fairmont safely.
Have used their services so many times (I was working at a location ~25 min from Banff townsite without a car) and the service was timely, reasonably priced for the location, and several of the drivers initiated really great conversations (not usually a plus for me - I enjoy a quiet ride - but most of them seemed able to judge the appropriate level of social interaction). Compared to many of the city taxi services I've used across Canada, they were the best.
Dude who picked us up didn't even put into his seatbelt. Made a big 'ol sigh when we asked to go to a different place two blocks away. Kind of not ideal.
Best way to get around in Banff! Quick service with extremely nice and friendly drivers that gave us even more info of good places to go. If ur looking for a way to get anywhere in Banff I would 100% recommend to give them a call for convenience and a fun drive to your destination:)
Pretty garbage service, called a cab and the person that answered acted like I was wasting their time ordering a ride. If you dont want business.why have a company at all? Also, when the cab finally did come, the guy was annoyed at us taking 2mins to get our luggage into the cab. It's too bad uber wasnt in Banff as maybe they would up their game a bit.
Called and showed up minutes later for a 6 person cab. The driver was friendly and we had a good conversation on the way to our campsite. The driver even gave us a break on the fare when the normal way was blocked off and he had to go around to get to our spot.
Would definitely call these guys for a ride anytime I am in Banff.
Needed a ride back from Banff to Canmore last minute and they 100% accommodated us within 40 minutes which we were very happy about. We had our 2 bikes and our small dog with us, we were worried it might be an issue but not at all! Charles was our driver and he made the trip even better, amazing person with lots of knowledge of the area and full of facts we wouldn't have known had we not met him. Thank you so much!
I was driven from Banff to Canmore by a driver who did not put his face mask over his nose, in a car that smelled of cigarettes. I am trying to stay away from vulnerable people now - with more than 1% of Banff residents currently COVID positive, I am not happy
Had a taxi booked for 10.30am to get me to a bus ride from Banff to Vancouver.
Showed up outside the property, didn’t come to the door, didn’t call my number as he stated he lost my number, when speaking asked if he was coming to pick me up still as I needed to be on a bus, said he was too busy and he wasn’t going to.
Missed the bus as a result, and wasn’t able to reschedule due to the short notice, just lost $150 plus the additional amount to pro long my stay in Banff and having to book additional transport to Vancouver.

First I called and the dispatcher yelled at me to be outside on time and I was outside on time and of course the cab wasn’t. Then I was drinking and the cab driver took full advantage and charged me 2 times the price. Be careful they are scammers and take advantage of people trying to be safe and take cabs instead of drinking and driving. I’m so disgusted by the horrible customer service and then them taking advantage of us. Do not use this company
Drivers are friendly but I wish the dispatch would take your information and give it to the driver so you actually get the taxi you ordered unfortunately for me ppl kept running up to the taxi and stealing it which resulted in me standing outside in -30 for half an hour. They need a better booking service!

There was confusion due to YOUR dispatcher hanging up the call. I don't understand how this business prides themselves in "taking all complaints seriously, " when you invalidate and gaslight a customers experience. Of course your dispatch is going to deny and neglect any and all responsibility. You pick and choose FALSE aspects of this story that will make you look and appear superior. Hear me when I say this: you cannot tell people that they have had a different experience than they have described. "We are sorry to hear that YOU were disappointed with the service, " yet again, you deflect responsibility, and gaslight the situation to your benefit. This response you left, only confirmed and showed the lack of management within your company. Hopefully this clears somethings up that you might've misunderstood.
The man that answered the phone was incredibly rude, cut us off and hung up on us. When he came to get us he went to the wrong address and was upset we weren’t ready for him despite us trying to explain to him on the phone that we didn’t need a cab for another 10-15 minutes. When we called back he continued to cut us off and get mad at us. Customer service was horrible. It would be best to walk
I have been on hold stranded in Banff trying to talk to dispatch for 15 minutes then get told to leave a message. I have been doing this for an hour straight! Horrible to go for dinner and be stranded to not get back to your hotel
60 DOLLARS for a 15 min drive from banff to Canmore! The meter wasn't running and I wasn't told the "fixed price" until the end of the journey! Do yourself a favour and get the bus for 6 bucks
