The Bella Concert hall is an amazing place to see a show in the city. The acoustics are amazing and the way the seats are elevated you have such an amazing veiw wherever you sit, the show feels very intimate. Lots of parking available. The seats are very large and deep, which for a small person I found a bit uncomfortable, but I am sure that would be a plus for others.
The Consevatory hosts a healthy selection of music teacher for all ages. I have experience with music classes catered to babies, preschoolers and grade school children. Of those programs, the educators promote a passion for expression through music and movement.
Despite no government regulations saying it is required, they cancelled a Christmas show because of Covid with less than 12 hours of notice, and postponed it to the new year. Who wants to listen to Christmas music in the new year? And how have they not figured out a way to plan for this pandemic when it has been going on for as long as it has?
We saw the Jim Cuddy Band here. It was an Awesome Show in an excellent concert hall. Great acoustics and there is not a bad seat in the house. Fantastic overall! DM
This is a lovely place. The design and execution is spectacular. The staff were helpful and friendly. The Luminous Voices concert we attended had us all wanting more. A genuine trat.
I witnessed this lovely venue on the MRU campus for the first time while working on a TV scene for CBC's 'Jann' series. I found it to be every bit as elegant and cozy as Calgary's Jack Singer Concert Hall with great acoustics and very comfortable seats. Until that day, I didn't even know the Bella Concert Hall existed. I'd sure recommend it now!
This venue is magical. The acoustical structure is effective and absolutely breathtaking. Friendly and professional staff, easy parking. I love supporting the arts and this will now be one of my favorite places to do so. Saw Simrit here and now will check their upcoming shows regularly. Highly reccomend
We watched Charlie Brown's Christmas with Jerry Granelli at the Bella Concert Hall earlier. 'Was an amazing experience. The show was superb on top of a beautiful theatre with excellent acoustics.
Bella concert hall is a beautiful facility. Acoustics are incredible. My only complaint is sitting in the 4th row is too close to see everyone in a wind symphony. All I could see was first row, the rest were completely hidden. No hope of watching the percussionists in the back.
Beautiful space for the Arts. Attended honens for two concerts Parking in the parkade was confusing. Machine was out of order, and after we paid, found that the gates were up anyway.
Such an intimate theatre with excellent acoustics and sightlines! The women's restroom situation wasn't too bad, either, though there still was a bit of a lineup. Easy parking outside and friendly bar staff and helpful ushers.
The Taylor center for the performing Arts is a very entertaining and relaxing place to go.the people there are very friendly and helpful and respectful and polite
We attended the Luminous Voice concert. It was lovely. Enjoyed the performances. The Hall was stunning. Loved the chocolates during intermission. Would definitely come again.
I have seen a handful of concerts in the wonderful Bella Concert Hall, and have spent many hours in the various rehearsal rooms for kids' classes and rehearsals. A beautifully architected facilities with great acoustics and all the modern conveniences. The two elevators are a huge help for those with limited mobility or strollers.
Terrific facilities for children up to adults wanting to learn theory, voice or choral, or who want to learn an instrument. Multiple choirs are available to join (children to adults), in addition to children's orchestra programs. World-class instructors!
