I had an a medical emergency with my kitty on the weekend and I was able to get my kitty in right away and took such great care of her. The atmosphere and staff are so wonderful. They were helpful every step of the way and she was able to recover very quickly. I highly recommend this veterinarian office to everyone

Taylor Vet Clinic is the best vet clinic I've ever visited. The staff is incredibly kind, and Dr. Sushama knowledge is exceptional. Even though I'm from Calgary, I don't mind traveling there with my fur baby because he absolutely adores the staff.

He never tried to introduce hi.self to my dog, he was more interested in charging me for more and more issues he came up with.
The dog had an ear infection and his eye was scratched. Not impressed at all. My dog is anxious at vets and he did not help.

Worst vet ever. Asked if i could discuss what options we wanted to take with our cat with my son as the vet wants $1000 for tests. I told the vet i was low income and i was told " if you leave today without doing anything and someone calls the spca it's on you. The lady with me questioned him about threatening me with spca because i need a day to decide what path i want to take because i can't afford 1000 dollars for tests and medication when they don't even know whats wrong. And he said she hasn't ate in over 4 hours which is not true

Great staff. The vet is so knowledgeable and she took time to address all our concerns. I highly recommend this clinic because they care our fur baby.

I drove from St. Albert to Red Deer specifically to see Dr. Kakee at this clinic because of prior experiences with her. She has advised me correctly and successfully with multiple animals in my care, and I find her to be exceptionally kind, compassionate and pragmatic. She always presents options on the path to solutions, and she continues to search for the right treatment fit between animal patients and their human partners. I will continue to seek Dr. Kakee’s advice and follow through with her prescribed treatments because I trust her scientific knowledge base, the fact that she consistently pursues continuing education in her field, and her genuine concern for the health and well-being of those in her care.

They had to do two extractions after all, calling me twice throughout to update me and put my mind at ease, and then sent me pictures by email of the whole procedure and of my cat waking up. I'm very thankful and could not ask for a better service. Thank you for caring for my buddy.

I’ve been looking for a good vet for 2 years since I got my dog. As recommended by a friend I tried Taylor vet, I can say this is the best vet I’ve ever been to. The staff are super friendly as well as Dr. Arya they are honest and don’t push medications if not needed and make you feel so comfortable from the time you walk in and the time you walk out. The prices for a visit are amazing compared to the other vets. I always recommend this vet to any pet owner I cross paths with. So happy with this vet!

The clinic provides care for our 2 Golden retriever. The office staff is excellent and the veterinarian is the best. They are caring and up front with all of the treatment cost.

After specifically asking the two vet tech, that I only wanted a belly up xray of my expectant dog. They went a head and did a sideview and told me I had to pay for that view before they would do the view I requested. That is why I only wanted the belly view, which is more accurate. The vet was not very nice or accommodating. All he cared about was money money money. Needless to say I walked out if the clinic and wont EVER return

Senior cat check ups went well and Dr Arya was excellent. Took her time and was gentle with our kitty. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.
Would recommend this office to any animal lovers.

I took my dog for the first time last week, and we had a great experience. My pup is super anxious and she did not like being on the table. So both the vet and the staff got on the floor with my dog for her exam. I loved that they met her where she was most comfortable.

All my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive at this veterinary clinic. All the staff and vets are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I have referred many people to this office as they are so caring and passionate about their job. They always give you options as to what procedure is best for your animal and what price range you would be looking at. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

I love everything about this veterinary office. The staff is kind and welcoming. Dr. Arya is extremely knowledgeable and always lays out all of your options prior to making a decision. I never feel pressured to purchase anything and their rates seem very reasonable. Their office is always clean. Overall I am a big fan and happy that I found this office.

The girls at this clinic go above and beyond with my Pitbull when I bring her in. She hates getting her nails clipped and it takes three people to wrestle her down to get it done. I come home with bruises and scratches so I can imagine what they go through. They are patient and kind and treat her like the baby she is. They also have a great sense of humor while they get the job done. Thank you ladies, we appreciate you!

The staff were kind to me, but most importantly treated my dog like their own. The final bill was just under the quoted price. My dog underwent a dental cleaning, tooth removal, and large lump removal in one session. Everything has healed well and his recovery was better than I expected. Thank you to all the friendly staff who took care of Glen.

Worst experience ever! Put my dog down on January 7th asked for copies of his paw prints got the run around for 6 weeks about how ohh they were mailed out.
Called once a week for 6 weeks they habe no clue where there are. 1 person says oh no idea you didnt ask for them, 1 person says mail and other person says she would talk to the vet. I definitely asked for them as I wanted a tattoo.no call back no nothing. I have nothing for my pet of 16 years great job guys

I rarely write negative reviews. But last appt in Nov. 2021 was disappointing. When I called with an injured kitten they kept asking if I was keeping the kitten. I was. When I got there they still asked if I was keeping the kitten. I was! Vet kept telling me to stay there and not leave.like I was going to abandon the kitten. Also agree with the other reviews about the vet being scared of my animals. The vet would literally wince and shake when handling animals and vaccinating my dogs that I would get huge anxiety going here. Ended up going to a different clinic. Kitten had to have his leg amputated. Giving two stars instead of one, because in an emergency they have stayed late to help my dogs in the past.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The vet was very gentle with my pet and very helpful in consultation and educating me about the condition of my pet. Definitely recommend them.

Dr. Nain and Dr. Arya are very experienced and knowledgeable Vets. They took such a great care of our Cat.  Definitely where I will be bringing my pet again as it was overall a great experience.

I would like to thank Dr. Nain and Dr. Arya and staff for the incredible care they provided to my very sick dog. Both doctors were very knowledgeable in diagnosing my Daisy. They got me in last minute which was nice, but she barely tried to help my cat before saying I had to sedate her, which fine, extra money but ok. Turns out my cat has an infected tongue. My cat is not friendly with strangers and was in pain so she was hissing and trying to bite, so I guess the sedation makes sense. Anyway, from seeing my cat’s behaviour you would think she could get an antibiotic shot, but instead tried to give me pills, which I explained I would never be able to get her to take. So the vet gave me liquid antibiotics. Which I asked about a shot and she said she couldn’t do it, but my regular vet will give antibiotic shots. They said they gave me 15 ml, but there absolutely isn’t enough medicine for a week, I called and explained that and they said there is and that I can buy more if needed. I feel scammed, they probably only half fill on purpose to make people buy more.

I found the vet cold and unfriendly. It was also quite expensive compared to my usual clinic.

I don’t like writing rude reviews, perhaps my experience was a one off, everyone has a bad day at work or just isn’t “on” everyday. I’m just disappointed.

We take all of our animals here. We have a Dane who is high anxiety and they do absolutely everything to accommodate him on his visits.
Recently we took our veiled chameleon in for a check after having seen another “exotic” vet in Red Deer. The previous vet had sent us home with Glaxal base cream and said it was “soft tissue and no need to worry”. It’s been months and getting bigger so we took Sheldon (our chameleon) into Taylor vet for another opinion. Sheldon had an abscess above his nose that was growing and surely causing discomfort. In a quick visit we paid 1/2 the cost of the other vet clinic, including Lansing the abscess and an antibiotic injection.
Hands down, we’ll continue to drive in from another town to bring our pets here.

Absolute pleasure to deal with the staff here. My lab was having some complications and we thought we'd lose him and I'm certain he is with us today because of the care and concern he received. I can't thank you enough.

Started taking my dog there because of low prices. First visit vet was SCARED of my dog (so obviously my dog didn’t trust her, although he isn’t dangerous it made him more scared to be there) then when they told me they would preform a $500+ surgery on my cryptorchid dog but didn’t know if they could take/find the testes out. (My new vet had no problem with this surgery and not finding testes wasn’t an option + my dog loves new vet and vice versa). Tried them again for prices when taking my rescue cat in because he had diarrhea for weeks.they just throw antibiotics at you. Came back after a week with no improvement and they give me more antibiotics (which obviously weren’t working). Seems like they want you in and out fast as possible. Had me collect a “clean” sample of watery Stool (not fun). Basically involved locking the poor cat in an have him hold in his poo until he couldn’t anymore because you are making him poo where he didn’t want to.brought it in and then call back and say that we would have to wait 2 more weeks because lab couldn’t use a sample of cat was on antibiotics (which they knew we were on because they prescribed them to us.) on top of everything it was Never a very pleasant interaction with the vet.
You get CHEAP service for CHEAP prices. Not worth putting your animals through The distress and more expensive in the long run.: (

We went to this clinic first time for our cat's, one having diarrhea and other one having ear infection. Highly impressed with the services provided, great treatment and we saw the improvement right from the day one. Very professional staff and the Vet was simply great. We will patronize this place for our fur babies and highly recommend to everyone. God bless.

I’ve been dealing with Taylor Vet for over a year now while fostering and volunteering with rescues and I also bring my own animals to them. They are absolutely fantastic to deal with, they explain everything in detail and are very thorough in the “simplest” of things. They won’t charge you anything with explaining the costs and why they suggest that route and they also provide you with a plan B. All the staff are amazing, I deal with Kayla (vet tech) a lot and she’s extremely knowledgeable, helpful and personable. Dr Arya and Dr. Nain are so intelligent and really have the animals best interest in their hearts. Cannot recommend them enough.

Very fast service. I called and they took my dog in as soon as I arrived. All staff were very professional. I highly recommend Taylor Veterinary Clinic to everyone.

I took my cat Angel in on Friday to get spayed. She was fine that night and Saturday. But she passed away last night after vomiting and having culvusions. I got a full refund of my fees but that doesn't bring her back. The vet doesn't know what happened. I will never take any of my other cats to that vet. Be warned.

I took my friend there to have her cat spayed on Friday, on Sunday she died. She was only 3 years old. The Vet that my friend took her to in order to cremate her said it looked like they missed doing bloodwork on her.
When my friend called the Taylor Vet this morning, they offered her a CREDIT before giving her a refund.
Absolutely zero integrity. Don't take your pets here.

The only place in town that I would trust for my dog. The doctor is very patient and listen to all our concerns. Explained everything about the treatment. My pet recovered within a day after surgery.

We just rescued a dog and noticed his stitches broke in one spot after being neutered by another vet in Red Deer. This was the only place open and they took us in 15minutes prior to closing. Turned out it was infected. We are very greatful that Dr. Nain gave us options right there to fix him up and stayed late. He seemed very caring and good with our new pup. We will now be switching to this vet!

I had to bring my dog in after she ran into a porcupine. We got all the quills out ourselves except one stuck under her tongue. They only charged for the anesthetic and exam fee. Dr. Nain even trimmed her nails for us while she was under! Thank you Taylor Veterinary Clinic for treating us so well!

First off, I was late for my appointment, not something I'm in the habit of doing but it's annoying and I get that, so there's a degree of rushing I can expect when they decide to wait for me, I appreciate that. But I don't appreciate the service that came after that, I left feeling ripped off and even more, still very concerned for my dog.

Amazing vet, with amazing staff, top quality service. Very understanding and also very helpful. Both my dogs are registered here and couldn’t be more happier with how they treat our dogs.

Excellent veterinary clinic with kind and knowledgeable staff. My dog has to get injections every month and Dr. Nain has been so accommodating not to mention very cost friendly. I must also say that I really, really appreciate that they don't try to upsell you on services you don't necessarily need. For example, instead of saying "we need to do an x-ray to confirm and it's $300" they will say "this could be it, but possibly not, so let's watch for a few weeks and see before we do any substantial testing because it can be expensive". This is rare in Red Deer. Also, their long hours are incredibly convenient and even after 6pm, when the staff must be tired from a long day, I'm always met with smiles and helpfulness.
I am very thankful I found this clinic! Thanks for all of the great service you've provided both me and Diego!

We got 2 puppies we start going to them since April our both puppies has glands problem so went to this clinic for their vaccination and check up we been there 1st time like their friendly staff both doctors there dr. Arya and dr. Nain they are awesome we receive very friendly behaviour and knowledgeable advice. As per other vet in red deer they charge very reasonable as well. The best part is they always follow up next day how is the puppies are doing after there visit at clinic if we need any help. Highly recommend taylor vet.

Really disappointed. I specifically stated I needed a vet ophthalmologist. I drove an hour to Red Deer. They are not vet ophthamologist. Still charged $77.00 for nothing.

Good vet to go for vaccinations but if your pet is sick is sick or injured u can not recommend.

Love this place and the people, most caring vets and staff not to mention very reasonable prices.

They stayed late and did a wonderful job of stitching up my dog Lucy, who I brought in after she had been bitten by another animal when I let her out in the back. Dr. Nain stayed late until 10: 00 pm and did not charge extra, saved me a visit to emergency. Price was half what I was quoted at emergency.

Took our 1.5 year old cat in a couple weeks ago because he want eating and was lethargic and the vet said that he was probably just being picky and gave us some medicine with no directions on how to give it to him and sent us on our way. He seemed better for a day or two and then his health started rapidly declining. We took him back and the vet said again they didn't know what it was but we could do more tests if we wanted. She then said she would ask the other vet for another opinion. The other vet came in and said he was severely dehydrated and thought maybe it was pancreatitis but he wasnt sure. He gave him an iv and sent us on our way with better directions to take care of him and how to force feed him and give him his pills. Unfortunately it was too little to late as our beloved pet passed away yesterday with late stage pancreatitis. I just feel that if they would have been a little more aggressive on the directions of what we had to do he might have had a better chance of survival. I will say the one vet did seemed genuinely concerned for our cat but the other one didnt really care.

The best vet I ever been to going there 7 years now and he has went above and beyond every time I never pay full price for my emergency visits the girls who work there are amazing and I will never go.anywhere else hes not only my vet but my very good friend he has even saved my snakes and all her babies he goes the full mile to help. He has even gotten out of his bed to help my little dog who was sick for over a month and sometimes 3 visits a day with my little dog and he had never once complained about it I love this vet Dr. Nain is the best

We have 2 dogs. We have been through a lot of vet. Clinics, as we have travelled a lot internationally and locally, and out of all the places we have ever had services, I would say that this clinic with dr. Nain and dr. Arya the best one. I fully trust thouse doctors and I knows that our pets will taking care of at any time as needed. I am very happy with the service and care that they are providing, as well as follow ups checks after each visit. I would recommend to vitis this place to who ever have pets. Once you visit them, you always wanna go back to them only, if you ever needed again.
