ALWAYSSSS. Long wait time…only 2 tellers are there all the time to assist. Doesn’t matter morning, afternoon or evening. Lot of time waste. I think this is not the service offered by TD. Will not give even a half star … I have to go by 1 star if I want to give reviews
I don’t recommend going here. The manager with the reddish/blonde hair is extremely rude. He will 100% mansplain your own finances to you including judging your decisions on what you do with your own cash, making snide remarks about spending what you’re depositing. As well he’s incredibly unhelpful and when you start asking questions will start becoming very condescending, he assumes you don’t know what you are talking about, even though you do.
ATB is so much better, they treat me amazing.
I’ve been a client of TD’s for years with zero fraudulent deposits and they have just gotten so awful to deal with, and the way this manager talked to me honestly disgusted me. I’m an accountant so I do understand finances and banks and was trying to be as kind and respectful as I could. I eventually walked out after thanking the teller- she was great, the manager was not.
I am a retired schoolteacher and farmer. I have now lived in Grande Prairie for more than five months. All of my banking is now being done with the TD team on the west side. I find Mr. Falsetti continues to impress me when it comes to investments. The helpful tips, detailed explanations, flexibility in appointments, quick response times to concerns and questions I might have and rates offered are more than I could have hoped for. He has risen above everyone else I have worked with in the banking industry over the past five decades. I would highly recommend this group of individuals to everyone regardless of their banking needs.
Furthermore, to have a bank open until 8: 00 pm on weekdays and for most of the day on Saturdays, is not something that is offered everywhere. The TD bank in Grande Prairie gets my full support in this review and, yet again, deserves a 10/10 for their efforts. It is all truly appreciated.
WORST td branch I've ever dealt with. No one calls you back. Left countless messages for updates nothing back. We are trying to get new financing on a new home and not ONE person can call us back and let us know. They say "looks favourable" we are now three days away from conditions coming off and STILL NO UPDATE. My husband has called the bank directly and the person we are dealing with directly no response back!
I was standing in line, for no more than five minutes, to get a new bank card when the branch manager, Mr. Falsetti, came up to me and introduced himself. Afterwards, I went into his office and had an informal visit regarding investments and current market trends using graphical data he had available. I found him to be personable, knowledgeable, informative and helpful. I am new to the area and I will be using their services. It was an excellent first impression. Thank you. A perfect 10/10.
TD as a whole should not even be rated half a star, but this branch and the other one in Grande Praire have yet to do anything right. I have abeen waiting on a wire transfer to a much better bank for over 3 weeks now. Every time I contact them it is just 2 more days. I guarantee that you will have nothing but headaches dealing with TD banks.
After being with TD for 19 years, I’m closing my accounts. The degradation amongst the quality and knowledge of staff members has reached all new lows. For small, everyday banking they may be fine, but if anyone plans on making investments or real estate deals, avoid TD like the plague. They’ve illegally halted trading multiple times and their staff are botching real estate deals left right and center. When people’s livelihood and futures are being put on the line, you can’t be as incompetent as the staff at TD. Avoid this dumpster fire at all costs.
Would be nice if they had more than 2 tellers working at a time. The line up is always to the door almost everytime I come in, doesn't matter Morning, right after Lunch, or later in the afternoon. Wait time is way to long
30+ minute wait time for tellers, only 2 at the stand regularly. Given wrong information regarding appointments after calling in to book. Negative encounters several other times when trying to use their services not by fault of the teller, but of TD's poor policies.
Had a mortgage rate locked in for 90 days with Jon Sanchez and 2 months in found a house. Then when I went to use that rate they said they had closed the file and when I asked why they couldn't tell me who closed it or why. The worst part is they wouldn't honour the rate for the remaining month I should have been locked in for. They now want me to come into the branch to discuss a higher rate because of their error closing the file. This isn't the first issue I have had with this bank. Already booked an appointment elsewhere
Morgan Greber, your amazing person, thanks for grabbing me out of line and helping me out, I wish each organization could have such pleasant people to deal with!
Wow, after over 15 years of banking with the TD in Grande Prairie, I now know I was truly just a number! They never answer their phones and phone back have many days of pasted (before covid I am talking about) and the folks in the office just don't seem to be able to help you with anything. They have to contact someone else, somewhere else. I will never bank with a eastern bank again!
I've been misdirected by one of their loans people on multiple occasions. In particular when purchasing my house, the person I spoke to with regards to obtaining a mortgage didn't have a clue what the hell they were talking about and nearly cost me the opportunity to buy the house I wanted. For my mortgage I went with a broker who correctly got everything in order, kept me in the loop the whole way and pushed through everything I needed in 3 days to meet my conditions date.
The ONLY reason I'm still with TD is because I have a line of credit and VISA with them and I don't want to close them and affect my credit history.
