Gave incorrect information to me regarding cheque cashing: a teller encouraged me to deposit my cheque in the machine because "my funds would be available immediately instead of having them held". Pair that with the TRC holiday and I'm $105 poorer because my mortgage payment bounced when they tried to take it 8 days later. TD has changed, they don't train their employees like they used to, and it's costing their customers money. Time to find a new bank.

I was issued a company credit card and proceeded to set up my PIN. The front desk staff seemed unsure of the process. After seeking assistance from the manager, a Canadian African lady wearing glasses, I was asked to provide photo identification. I initially provided my driver's license, which was deemed insufficient. Despite presenting my AB health card, a recognized official ID, they insisted on yet another photo ID, such as a passport. Strangely, they declined to contact my company controller to verify the legitimacy of the request. This experience proved unhelpful and needlessly obstructive to a simple transaction. Frustrated by their approach, I decided to visit a different TD branch. There, the process was efficiently completed in under 5 minutes. Regrettably, the service at the initial branch was far from satisfactory, leading me to rate them a mere 1 out of 5.

I have been in line for 50 minutes. Three people have gone in that time. On the bright side, the staff are extremely relaxed.

This is the third time coming here and I have given up the other 2 times because I just couldn’t wait anymore.

I just need to pick up my replacement credit card. They are about to send it back or I would leave again.

This branch refuses to have more than 1 teller working no matter how long the line becomes. The funny part tho is how many managers will be walking around watching it like it doesnt matter to them that the teller is overwhelmed and struggling with a large group of unhappy people. Shame.

This branch never has enough tellers. Employees doing nothing at the back of the bank looking at the long lineup while 1 or 2 tellers slowly take 5-10 minutes per person. Slowest banking experience ever. Yet the banking I need to do can’t be done at the bank machine - I have to see the teller. I finally see a teller and they refused to help me cash an ECheck I had been sent. The cheque had instructions as to how to cash it, they refused to follow them, just insisting it couldn’t be done. So arrogant. I left and went to the 82 Ave branch and they cashed it no problem. Terrible customer service. Don’t bother coming to this branch.

Exceptional customer service! Came here for an appointment and Vinit helped me out. He was very personable, helped me understand my inquiries, and completed my requests. Definitely recommend him if you are in need of an appointment.

The worst ever Experience. Highly recommended that please don’t go there to submit your cheque. Wasted my half an hour and told there is $10 fee to deposit every cheque as no else branch has ever charged as the money coming through is from another TD account holder. The lady named Partiskha Patel is busy in watching what her other co fellows are doing rather than helping the client.

Exceptional slow service, this branch needs on average 2 to 3 people to address anyone's visiting, seems like they always have staff on training, asking supervisors for guidance.

This is a really good branch well maintained as well as friendly staff. One more thing that really stood out to me was how on each employees badge there was the languages they speak which can really be helpful if you would like to speak in another.
I would 100% recommend going to this branch.

Went to deposit a paycheque here. They wanted to hold it, despite the same company cheques with my name on them clearing at multiple different branches around the city. If that's the policy, I will not be banking with TD for much longer. For someone living paycheck to paycheck, and sometimes it being more convenient for me to deposit in a different location in the city, TD isn't for me. And I highly recommend nobody else bothers with them either. Right off the bat I was looked at with disgust. I felt particularly singled out by the person "helping me". Might be a race thing, since east Indians only seem to care about their own. Will not be returning to this racist establishment.

One of the worst branches I have vistied. Social distincing n line up outside the branch? Does not make any sense, when the space inside is empty and hallway and outside is filled with people. I think pple who make such rules need to use thier brain and common sense

Was just at this TD to deposit a check. The first thing the clerk asks me is if I could put a mask on And slides one over the counter. I said no and she then said it’s not mandatory but we really prefer you do. I said no thank you again and she then passes me on to someone else. The mask bylaw is no more and that’s the first time since it’s been off that someone has asked me to where one. Seems to be the only branch doing that. I don’t like

Very bad customer service, a woman went in for some reason and even though she has paperwork attached to her file that a extremely abusive partner had no right to her money the lady kept insisting that he did and that he might want to spend her money differently. She kept asking questions that she should not have, most were unrelevent to any banking business and were very personal.she had caused very visible distress to this woman and refused to give her the managers card. As a lawyer I hope she sues this branch for emotional distress. Sorry ms. Asian lady I didn't ask your name but I hope you do feel bad that lady was sobbing at the transit center after she had left. According to the criminal code causing someone this much emotional distress is considered abuse here in canada

They deserve negative starts. You wait for half an hour then when your turn comes, they assign you to another busy clerk and ask you to wait because the manager cannot provide the service you want which makes you wait for another half an hour. What a waste of time

I've never seen such an unkind bank.
If you plan to receive a loan from this bank, I recommend using another branch. Never take a loan from this bank.
Some consultants lack the ability to speak to customers.

I had two horrible situations with two different employees at this branch in the same week. One of the employees was extremely and unnecessarily rude to me, and the other time another employee gave me misleading and very costly piece of information. I would never deal with this branch anymore. It's just a waste of time.

I am fairly new here in edmonton but have been with td since i was allowed a bank account. Every td branch ive gone to have been friendly but this location by far are the most efficient ones.thank you to shauna (manager) who always takes care of me and quick to take care of the lines

Came here late afternoon on a Monday and waited over 20 min to see a teller. One customer held the line up but the manager could probably allocate better staffing when there were over 10 people in line.

Me and my wife visited this branch so that we could change our address. We were assisted by an old lady named Elaine who was very sweet. Not only she got the job done really quick, but also made us feel welcome at their branch. Great customer service!

This is a review for both this TD Canada Trust location as well as TD Canada Trust in general. Today is Christmas Eve and earlier this morning the advisor at the TD by Southgate Centre named Samantha Conlon-Korfman I was to meet regarding my funds (LIRA) called me to basically tell me that she and her supervisor again looked at my investment, and she repeated to me that it is locked in until I turn 55. I once had a company pension with the plant in my former hometown of Manitoba and when I left the company after ten years, I rolled it into mutual funds, thinking that because my dad had had them, that I was making a smart financial decision. Was I EVER wrong, and I have regretted it ever since. My personal advice to anyone reading this is DON'T make the same mistake I did. Get a type of investment account that will allow you to access this money during times of hardship!

I was sincerely hoping that I could transfer the funds into an RIF (retirement income fund) so that I would be able to access at least some of the funds, in order so that my spouse and I could pay some of our over-due bills. He had lost his job a few weeks prior, and so we have fallen behind. Plus prior to this he and I were both quite sick and he's still recovering from having pneumonia. We have NO other way of paying these bills, and we weren't able to get each other gifts or anything for our 4 kitties.: (Christmas meal will be less than ideal, certainly no turkey meal.

When I had called TD twice within the past week about my investment, I was told something completely different and given conflicting information! Their customer service people are super at wanting to help you, and I was told that transferring it to a RIF was an option that I had, only to be told that I can't, once the appointment was made with Samantha, whom I had met with in person at the branch last Thursday, essentially wasting my time. I know that it's not her fault, and she apologized, but Jesus. TD really needs to make absolutely sure that the information that they provide you is accurate and thorough! So they've gone down a few notches in my book because of this experience.: (

On the 15th of the month was one slow teller & long line up at 3: 30pm, couldn't wait so came back when it was.the same. I had to leave again, & carry groceries blocks to use a computer at library instead to pay a bill as my Internet access was down. Why have one teller especially on a payday?
Dumb terrible service, no staff around not even the front desk person. Staff couldn't care less if they tried.

Very bad staff and manager. They make stories. One of their staff, a female white teller was very rude and bossy, acting like a manager, threaten to close my account because some argument even there is nothing threatening. When I took phone to video because she said she is going to call the police, she hided under the table! And won't coming out! I asked the other staff about her position, they said she is just a regular teller. However, when I call the manager today, the young lady manager told me that teller is a manager! I think she just want to protect her own staff. It looks like a show. I don't think she called the police. I didn't hear she said anything, and I was waiting outside for 30 minutes and never see police showed up. She didn't closed my account either, but I am going to leave.

Who knew changing my name would turn into quite the adventure.
My husband and I went into this branch a month or so ago and had no issues changing to a joint account. About a week ago, though, we went in to add him to my visa, get a replacement debit card, and change my name. We got the visa no problem and the teller helping us was so great in recommending a new card for us that better fits our needs and spending habits. I also got a replacement debit card super quick. I then got told I had to make an appointment to see and advisor to change my name. No problem. My appointment was with Samantha a couple of days later, but when I arrived, she passed me to Nigel (Jue Yi) as a lady had come in with some weird circumstances. Nigel was helpful but then when we came to the end of things he told me my husband also needed to be at the appointment to sign the new signature card. No one told me that when I made the appointment a couple of days prior. When we came back the second time to sign it and thought it was all done, we apparently missed initialling something on the paper as well and will have to go back in to do that. I would recommend that management informs and trains their staff better to ensure that paperwork is done thoroughly and properly the FIRST time. It would have been great to only have to go in once, rather than three times, to do one thing that could have been completed a long time ago.
