Guided us on our options and put everything back in a clean way. Great service. We would highly recommend and definitely would use them again when we have issues with our appliances.

Used Techville when our 10 year old fridge had a breakdown. Some initial bumps due to lack of communication regarding ordering of replacement parts but Vida who heads customer service was very responsive and got it back on track. When I phoned to make the appointment, explaining the symptoms, I was assured that it sounded like 1 of a couple possible problems but definitely fixable. John arrived on time, quoted a price range (depending on what he found), and fixed the issue quickly and tidily. John helpfully explained what he was doing as he worked. He is very knowledgeable is very personable. I will call TechVill for all my appliance repairs.

Fixed the rubber ring on my washer. Were quick to provide a quote and schedule the repair. The technicians arrived on time, were professional, and did a great job of fixing my washer. Will hire again for any future appliance repair needs.

Alan helped me with a GE dishwasher I got this one a year back from CAS store had lil issue with the inlet.everything was covered under warranty and it’s working now. I am happy to deal with these guys … yeiiii

Terrible customer service. They do not honour their commitment. The technician was very rude. Their review attracted me, but I was greatly disappointed. Nobody took responsibility for their mistake.

The first time around, Boris came by to fix our washer. After diagnosing the problem, he had our part ordered and washer fixed within a week.
Eight months later, our dryer stopped working and Alan came through to diagnose and fix our dryer all within an hour.
And I didn’t catch her name, but the customer service rep I had spoken to both times was incredibly professional and would respond to my email within 24 hours and had a tech out within a couple days max.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but Techvill had exceeded my expectations both times and I’d HIGHLY recommend you use their services.

This company could not repair my washer; I caught the repairman looking at YouTube videos trying to figure out the issue. I would not recommend this company.

Had these guys out to inspect a broken appliance. They showed up on time and were quick to advise repair was not feasible and to replace.

I had John come fix my dryer. He found the problem straight away and had the parts ready on sight. He repaired and let me know that their may be further problems. There was moisture building up and to contact my insurance agent as their is a structural issue with the venting ducts. He was also considerate of my home and was delightful to chat with.

I booked a diagnostic appointment but prior to the appointment I received a call from the technician, John, to confirm the make and model of the appliance that needed repair. After some discussions about my appliance error, he was open and upfront about the costs I should expect for parts and labour. It turned out that these costs were higher than I was expecting and it was more economical for me to purchase a new appliance. Therefore, John let me cancel my appointment and saved me diagnostic fees that instead went towards a new purchase. Thanks for the honesty and transparency John!

I reached out to a few other companies with not even a response. With TechVill my first call was answered and an appointment booked in a reasonable timeframe. I received a call prior to the appointment, as promised, and the tech, Evan, was right on time. Evan was friendly, informative, and quick. They will definitely be my first call next time!

I phoned TechVille because my fridge was making a very strange humming noise on a regular basis. I was super impressed that they could come to my place the same day and Alan (the technician that showed up) was very honest - basically my fridge was not worth repairing b/c it was so old and the part was going to be expensive. I really appreciated the honesty.

My refrigerator had completely iced up (really poor design) and caused the fan to burn out. The ease of booking the appointment on line and was followed up with by an email was great. The technician that came out was friendly and helpful. Did not mind at all that I watched him. It is difficult to trust repairs out there, and watching this team work was good. The part was carried in house by them so I was up and running within 6 hours.

Had a fridge that was not starting anymore. I had observed it failing over the last few days. I figured it was the main control board when it would not start at all. Called TechVill. The technician confirmed it was the main control board but that they were discontinued. I did not make sense that Kitchen Aid stopped making parts for a 7 year old $11,0000 fridge. He said he was going to get admin to check to see if they can find the board and they would call me next day on Monday.
Over the weekend I did my researched and was able to confirm the board was no longer manufactured. I was these fridge companies force us to buy new fridges that are still in otherwise good shape. I was able to find a company in the US that fixes these boards. I ordered a replacement board on Monday, arrived on Tuesday and had my fridge fully operational again. Sent my old board fir these guys to fix for the next customer.
And I never heard back from TechVill. They charged me over $100 and never called back. Will never be using them again. There answer was to go buy another $11K fridge!

Kari and Alan were very good to deal with. The problem wasn’t fixed after the first couple of visits but both stuck with us until the job was done. They were both professional and friendly and wanted to make sure the job was done right and we were happy. We are happy.

Dustin was absolutley awesome to have come fix our freezer, he was very knowledgeable with any questions we had and was very professional about eveything. He diagnosed the problem and was quick to have it fixed! Would reccomend this company for anyone looking for work don on appliances.

I have a 40-year old Amana model SR25E-L refrigerator that worked flawlessly until a few days ago when the condenser cooling fan started stalling periodically and it wouldn't cool properly. I determined the faulty part, bought it, and called/emailed a few appliance repairs shops in Calgary to find someone to install the part. No response except from TechVill. Boris replaced it for me. Prompt service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend TechVill.

Had them out to fix a dryer at one of my rental properties. Fast, efficient and responsive. I will definitely use this service again.

The tech that came had no idea what he was doing. When he left the fridge and freezer stopped working. I called head offi e and said I need him to come back as I had over 600 worth of meat and food in my fridge. They told me they can’t as he already left and it was after hours.
I told him I was recording this and all of a sudden he got the tech to call me.he did call and I had to retake the freezer apart myself as he was at another clients place and was going back and forth between conversations. They are crooks. They quoted me double what other companies did for the repair. I will be sending this to the bbb to deal with as I got charged for a service that I did not receive and am out a lot more money thanks to them.

TechVill was able to come out on a Friday (same day) when I noticed our fridge had failed again. Garrik got it running in limp-along mode, giving us time to shop around for a replacement. He knew that this particular KitchenAid model (only 6 years old) was plagued with problems and it would be better to replace it than spend tons of money trying to fix all the failing parts time after time. Highly recommend.

Very prompt and responsive! I called them on Sunday evening and they gave me the appointment to look at the burning smell coming out the Viking freezer. They fixed it and it is all covered in the visit charge! Highly recommend them!

I just had the most professional service from Garrick. He arrived within the time frame quoted and called 1/2 hour before his arrival. He gave a great inspection and explained everything before giving a quote for labour, part and tax before proceeding with approval. His quote was lower than any others I had received.
I will definitely recommend this company to others.

Calling them was a great decision. They were able to come out to see my Viking stove the day after I called. The tech was polite and respected my distancing request and got the job done quickly. If I ever need to get my Viking stove repaired I know who to turn to now!
