Well they wouldn’t even let us in
the door. Went in to purchase a new phone and some cases for the family. When we walked in the first set of doors, we rang the doorbell as the sign said. Then a very emotionless robot of man walked up, no wave or smile, grabbed a clipboard and held it up. It said that I. D.is required. My husband, the account holder, shows his, but I didn’t have mine on me. I get told I can’t come in. So, we ask if our daughter can text me a picture of it to show him. Nope! I understand it’s store policy, and that’s your right as a private business. What I don’t understand is the lack of common sense and customer service. We weren’t carrying bags, we weren’t hiding our faces and we were co-operative and courteous and we were treated like thieves. Anyway, we went to the South Common store and had an excellent experience with them.

Never in my life have I entered a retail store and been treated like a criminal. I had to push my drivers license against the glass to be let in today. The lady with the facial piercings seemed to enjoy being a "bouncer" more than helping me with my brand new iphone purchase. I refused to purchase any accessories at this location and won't be returning to this store.

Went in to get a screen protector for my new Samsung S23 Ultra that I bought through the Telus store not online. I bought the Pure Gear $54.99 High Definition model on the recommendation purely of the salesperson last night and I would like to warn everyone not to buy it. It interferes with the display in that you can see where the fingerprint display is and it also does not register well when fingerprint scanning. There is absolutely zero customer satisfaction of service and the fellow Jesse on the phone today could really have cared less about trying to resolve it. I am an adult that knows how to do things and followed Pure Gears instructions to a tee and that was the result. Very poor protector and service. It is too bad Telus does not have any back up to the things they recommend and this location should be avoided.

Costly internet down! Spend 2 hours on my family SUNDAY with nice gentleman/technician from India on the phone helping him to figure out what is wrong without success. Then a real guy comes on Monday (very quick) and repairs/exchanges the modem. Now we have only slow internet while paying for high speed.

I recently went in to pick up May new phone. Jesse provided incredible services. So much that I returned the next day to Lear about options/pricing for new home services too. I’ve never had anyone work so hard on my behalf to meet my specific needs. I’d recommend him to anyone. He’s the best I’ve dealt with.

They ask you to scan a qr code to enter the building but no code is on the door. When so.eone notices you they come and you need to show ID to get in. I understand having security reasons but not a very good way of doing it.

Don’t EVER let Telus work on any fibre optic or anything on your lawn. They will leave huge gaping holes that someone could fall into. They won’t take any responsibility or try to fix it at all. My elderly father has called them and nicely asked multiple times and they keep saying “tomorrow” but it’s been months. He’s a sweetheart and just wants these holes fixed so nobody gets hurt. They keep ignoring him and it sure seems like they just want him to go away. Not cool to mistreat people like this.

Jesse was our customer service rep. I hate leaving negative reviews but this warrants it.

I don't mind the COVID rules at all. My issue is the complete lack of customer service and the condescending behavior. When you contrast customer service here vs what we received at Southgate it's a world of difference.

We won't come back here, and we'll encourage others not to as well.

I went into the store for a new phone with an interim license and was scoffed out the door. I've been struggling with the fact that I can't do anything without picture ID, instead of giving me more options such as calling into Telus or doing it online.eyes were rolled, attitude was given, I don't mind that I was turned away for not having appropriate photo ID.what I do mind was the attitude the sales lady gave me when I told her what I had in place. It was like I wasn't a human and she no longer had time for me. That's not a company with proper customer service that I want to give my money to. I don't care if you make minimum wage if you treat people like that. I've been there and I was always a lot kinder as a human to other humans. I felt very disrespected.

Thank you to the kind gentleman at Telus complaint center that helped redirect my mood for the day.

Untruthful salespeople. We went in for the back to school 80$ a month 30gb unlimited plan. Canceled my current account agreed to the 30gb plan and the new s21. Later that night I check because my phone was taking forver to port. My plan is the 15gb plan. So we call in right away and are told there's nothing they can do we need to go into that store.
We go back he tells us he will make a note of it but there's nothing he can do we need to call in.

We call loyalty. They tell us they can't offer us the 30gb with our 'epp' program. We tell her that it kind of seems like they lied to us, just to get a sale. All he would have had to say is hey actually I can't get you that plan. Even the other 4 staff could have said something. In the end We were told there is no way to prove who is not telling the truth.

In my job lying is considered unethical and you can go to jail for it. After being a telus customer (internet, TV, wife's phone) for over ten years this is incredibly disappointing. Just a little warning. Telus seems to support lying salespeople to get sales.

5 stars for Mr. Sukhwinder Singh who gave an excellent service of connecting the wifi at my new place. He is very humble and was generous enough to help us when we were in a dire need of the internet connection. He is a genius and does his job very well. Thank you very much Mr. Sukhwinder for helping us.

Amazing, between the sign up for a new account for my wife's mother (100 years old) and some time on the phone, their staff was able to get granny hooked up within 24 hours. Thank you and bravo.

I had a not so great situation as many people have had on of these during this pandemic, plus I'm a medical worker! Oh ya plus other roomate medical worker, and OH YA my momo was in hospital close to 7 weeks (Not Covid, but something way worse). She desperately needed a new phone, AND ipad. New phone as she had an older one, ipad cause well hers was smashed, AND AT FIRST couldn't drop off anything at hospital. My momo was all alone, with no technology to help her through some tough weeks.
BRING IN TELUS WORKER BARIS! I phoned said what was going on, he had to get permission for me to do anything with her account, BUT he got it done, quickly, and my momo said he was so kind when he spoke with her. I told him I'd be in next day for her phone upgrade with an ipad as well.
HE had it ALL waiting for me the next day, I understand his tech talk, he understands my situation, and was emenesly KIND! We got through things quickly as I mentioned before he put aside stuff we talked about, I went in, and Baris was a breath of fresh air, and the experience was SO great I can't thank him enough
AND just when you think the situation can't get any better, he took a look at our household deals having Telus Fibre Optic Everything in our house, he takes 2 MINUTES, and finds a way to show me that our home Telus package can be $15 a month cheaper, AND also now with so many pieces of electronics in our house that would be in home more than usual, he got the wifi changed to unlimited for us in our house (I Had a GREAT amount of GB before), but EVEN after finding the $15 less a month with all our home stuff Telus, the Unlimited wifi which did not add any more money to the bill, and we STILL got the $15 cheaper/month
He was such a Calm/Passive person, we just talked, laughed, and honestly a GREAT experience! Give that man a raise! Lol
(I'm not one to always give longer reviews, I do give reviews just not at length, but I did this time as it warranted)

Excellent support. I had several issues with my phone. The sales consultantsl were polite, understanding, patient and well trained. Store area very clean. Sanitizer available. Masks in place. Consultants professionally dressed in Telus gear. Beautiful choices of phone cases, charging devices and cords. I also bought a new charger. Very happy with it. Good advice from consultants. They also gave me steps to follow once I got home written out for me, as to how to get wi-fi working. Also gave me the phone number of experts to phone from home too. Excellent Telus, thank you all.

Usually dread going to Telus stores but with a phone that stopped working we were in need of a phone ASAP. Baris was probably the best rep we've dealt with and gave us the best deals and options available to us. Was very knowledgable and friendly! Will definitely be returning to this store from now on and recommending to anyone I know who is with Telus.

Went their yesterday to get a new phone. Not impressed at all. Omar was the guy who somewhat greeted us when we went in, he said hi what do you want today! No customer service at all. Very pushy and does not care what he says. Told me the pricing online is different then in store. Could not give me the price that was online for a new phone. Asked to speak to his supervisor and he said no. He’s is deff not good for sutomer service. Not a good visit there and will never go back. Took my business to the TELUS store in South Gate mall. Glad I did, the guy there actually cared about his customers! Will be calling and putting in a complaint to TELUS. Omar is horrrble to deal with. Save yourself the hassle and go to someone else if you can.

I went in to get a new phone and Omar was the representative that helped me. I found him very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and I believe got me a good deal on my phone. He made me feel like a person not just a number. I would definitely go back to that location! Thank you!

Everyone makes mistakes, but seldom do people do the right thing. A billing mistake made at this location resulted in an over-payment and no way to rectify it.

The employee stepped up and went above and beyond with a solution that was so unexpected and not at all required of him, I am still blown away by what he did.

I have to be light on the details to protect peoples' identities, but suffice to say, this is one location that has earned a place in my very small list of businesses and people who have gone above and beyond to make things right for their customers.
