I would give this store 0 stars if i could. My husband went to this store to upgrade his phone. The guy who sold him the phone was a piece of work. Treated us like we were stupid, and did not offer their Telus care, did not explain what my husbands plan would look like, and did not explain what his plan would cost either.
He was more worried about making the sale than actually caring for the customer.
Horrible service. Please do not go to this store.

By far the worst customer service I've ever had. When I walked in "Allison" didn't wanna help me, she was constantly finding reasons to be difficult, very Argumentative and rude. My baby was in the car so I said I wanted to run out and check on him. And when I came back she hadn't starting my foarm and put me back into the back of the que and I had to wait all over again. BTW this is the first negative review I have ever done since the invention of the smart phone.that's how traumatized is was form this incounter.

I was there to get a phone plan/phone. I was standing there for good 10 mins, there's 2 guys there and 1 lady. The lady was helping the costumer, the 2 guys sitting (the other guy was holding a dog) while talking to another lady (seems like the lady works there, she has a box of fall season decor) they were talking, and ignored me. The other guy just looked at me, ignored me and the 3 of them were just talking.do not go here.they sat there and ignore costumer.

Visited Telus to get some information and erase my old phone. Met Youssef, very friendly and accommodating!
I would recommend seeing Youssef or Chris at Telus Northgate for any phone needs!

Yousif (I think that’s how it’s spelt) went above and beyond and helped us with upgrading my girlfriend's phone. He was nice, personable and understanding of our situation. He gave us a variety of options and we thank you for that!

By far the worst company I’ve ever hired services from.

Telus took money from me, 4 payments, took over a month to refund me, made two early resolution offers by management in the escalations department, I spoke to a senior manager and he told me it’s not Telus’s fault I was charged multiple times, tells me he’s sorry but can not offer compensation, however two other managers confirmed Telus was and is in the wrong.

I am now hiring lawyers to sue for damages, I am posting this to bring awareness of telus’s professionalism.

I approached the temporary booth as the main store was closed for refurbishment and both staff just looked at me, and we’re both unprofessional and not willing to actually help me. I have never experienced such a strange customer service and will definitely not be returning. They completely lost out on a multiple sales for multiple devices.

Did not send my phone back to Telus when I traded it in a couple of months ago. Now facing an incorrect $520 charge on my bill. Does not answer their phone either.

Will be contacting support tomorrow.

I have been a Telus customer client for 31 years. I have also purchased, i'm thinking 5 phones. Periodically, i pop into Telus -Northgate Centre, when i don't understand something on my phone. They have alway's helped me and it was great. Yesterday, January 24/2023 i went to the store. I didn't understand something about my photo's, amalgamating my albums. Nobody was in the store. There were two young ladies, one was playing on her phone. I asked her if she could help me. Her name is Cindy. She was very rude, no customer skills, no smile. She said No! She said i should go to Best Buy for help. I asked to see the mgr. She said, No! I'm not going to get him. The lady next to Cindy, Eileen said what i needed, then she answered a couple of questions. This store has quite a few staff members going thru it. But this Cindy, was unreal! Rude and ignorant. She should not be dealing with customers.this has left me with a bad taste in my mouth with Telus!

A small mistake at this location costs me hours of my time with call centres and five total trips to Telus to rectify. Please shop at a Telus dealer where they actually care about customer service. Both corporate telus stores I went to could not wait to pass along my issues to somebody else at a different store.

The issues started when I came in to this Telus store and bought the last 128GB iphone in stock. I had called ahead to save myself time and new exactly the plan I wanted. The service was average but I walked out with my phone and my contract. However, the inventory was labeled wrong. An employee had taped the box and wrote 128GB on it, when it was 64GB inside the box. We found this out on Christmas day with the excited recipient was disappointed they couldn't set up their phone because it was too small AND the wrong model.

So I head to a different Telus store on the 26th to fix the problem. After talking to sales people who are too busy standing around and chatting with one another, they insist that I go to the other Telus store to fix the problem. That store didn't have any 128GB phones so I want to do it here. That's when they pull on the "Sorry we don't do refunds or exchanges on boxing day". I ask why because it seems silly not to rectify their mistake as soon as possible? They said because they have too many sales on boxing day and cannot process refunds. The new "buying" customers would have to wait a long time. I can't believe it and after talking to several people, they confirm it's store policy not to refund or exchange on 26/27th. I find out later from the call centre that they could actually process a refund on any day of the week if they want to!

Okay, I wait two business days until the 28th when they CAN do returns. I call ahead to THIS Telus store and ask them to put aside the last 128GB phone and explain my situation. They said they can't put phone asides, it's against policy. I explain again this is my 3rd visit to a telus store at no fault of my own. Girl says she can unofficially put it aside for me. So I head there and have a terrible experience again. Guy doesn't want to do the refund here and the phone that was set aside for me is not here! He wants me to go to one of many other stores to do the refund. And starts to call another location where his manager works, I'm guessing for incentives to put under his name. I have to stop him again to explain I need this refunded now. Finally he completes it. And looks up inventory and finds a 128GB model at the ST ALBERT location.

I end up back in St Albert getting their last phone. Only to find out after getting home they forgot to give me a SIM card. SO I call back and the staff member remembers dealing with me 20 minutes prior. He assures me I don't need a telus sim card number and I can use the KOODO one from my old phone. So I go online, transferring the old KOODO number to telus. It ports the phone number fine but the sim doesn't work. I can no longer take calls or texts. So I call into TELUS call centre and they CANNOT BELIEVE the staff person told me that I don't need a Telus SIM to activate my phone. He said "absolutely you can't use your koodo sim with a telus phone, you need a telus sim! ".

I find a Telus dealer store, get pretty good service and buy a SIM. They can't activate for me online anymore, so I have to do it myself. Funny that I can't activate it because it needs to text my old number, which no longer works because of the SIM problem.so here I am sitting on hold for 1 hour already to have them activate my SIM.
Shop at Telus and GOOD LUCK!

10: 32 am. Wednesday 30/22. This woman really needs to get out of customer service! Her tone and ignorance toward the elderly man in there was one of the worst interactions I have seen to date!

Came into the store for details about the bring-it-back plan I am currently on. Girl was not helpful at all, just kept saying “you should have been here on the weekend when we had deals” Ok I understand that but I’m trying to figure out options for THIS MOMENT RIGHT NOW. Had to call Telus to get useful information, if she tried just a little bit more to be helpful, I would have left there with a new phone.

I visited Telus Store on Northgate mall (9499 135 Ave, #1110, at 2: 10 PM on 11 November 2022) to solve a mistake made by Telus when I change my mobile provider.

Two young ladies were there the one who was looking to my issues was very mean and do not want to take any action to solve the problem, and she was telling me I need your Telus account numbers or maybe I am not with Telus, even I give her my two SIM Cards from Telus, showed her Two letters from Telus (sent to my address), and Two confirmation emails. Issues solved when her colleague came, look to my account, scan SIM cards and solve the problem.

I am using Telus service for longtime, and I did not encounter bad treatment before this day, but this time really I was treated with inferiority and felt my self as a low class customer.

Telus should take action to improve customer service especially at Edmonton Northgate Store and to inform Northgate Edmonton Store to treat Customer in better way. I am using Telus internet, TV, and mobile services and I deserve to be treated better and I am sure other provider they will be more happy to have my business.
