Terrible experience, we contacted Telus support due to an issue with my husband's phone as it was still under warranty. As the phone is under my name due to an EPP discount, we confirmed with the agent with Telus that my husband had full authorization to deal with the issue without me present. I had just had surgery and was not in any state to be galavanting to the mall in the Christmas rush.

When my husband got to the store he had to wait approx 30 mins before the staff member told him there was nothing they could do without me present. This then resulted in a 3 way call to Telus support again, and another 40 minute wait for my husband while he rejoined the line in the store.

Telus support was then able to help the staff in the store find that my husband always WAS authorized to deal with this issue without me present. I guess they were looking in the wrong place.

Anyway, even with this information it was like the staff member did not want to help and was only interested in people activating new phones etc. Eventually my husband was able to send the phone off for repair but it felt like a battle to get that far.

When we received a phone call a few days after Christmas that his phone was ready for pick up, he waited in the line in the store for 30 mina to get to the front of the line to be told he had to scan the tiny QR code to get an appointment for help. Bare in mind he did not have a loaner phone and was using a very old phone while his was in for repair, and there was no mention of the QR code at the prior visit. Anyway, he did this and it was another 1.5 hour wait for a phone pick up that literally would have took less time than it took the staff member to explain how to make an appointment and the fact he couldn't help.

If you're doing anything other than buying a new phone, this store won't want to help. We will go elsewhere in future.

Awesome service at this location. Naomi was the sales rep - I needed to get my home internet sorted out for my new place and she was a real pro! Walked me through the process and was super patient the whole time. I highly recommend Telus at this location. Great work Naomi!

We went in to this store because I have always had excellent customer service here. Today the young Asian lady that helped us was totally indifferent to ours needs on not knowing why the phone was not working right. She said we usually charge for this service of helping bit I won't today. Next time it's an issue you can go to the apple store. She was very standoffish and acted as if we where wasting her time.

We had a great experience with Asad T in the store today. He was patient, helpful and able to provide answers to all the questions I had about our EPP phone plan, trade in details and more. Would highly recommend having him help you if you have any questions about phone plans.

Asad was fantastic yesterday with helping me setup the phone - the 5 stars is for him. One thing the store could generally improve on is by putting an obnoxiously large sign up saying “CHECK IN HERE. ” While I was being helped I witnessed at least 7 different customers come in and wait while a busy Telus rep would then need to go up to them and tell them to check in. One individual actually got visibly upset and was raising his voice as he was waiting for over an hour and had no idea of the check in process until he asked where he was at in the line. Dear manager, please help your employees do what they do best which is serving the customers. Please put a big sign up to support them; so they don’t need to keep leaving their current customer to go walk over and tell some one to check in. The current QR code is tiny and the size of

Dubious and unethical sales rep. And if this is how standard practice for Telus, then it speaks to corporate dishonesty.

I went into this location to get some pricing information for home internet and TV. I made it clear that I was simply interested in learning about pricing and I am currently with Shaw/Rogers.

The sales rep seemed to need a lot of information for a price quote. He wanted a piece of ID as well as my signature on a printed quote. Against my better judgement, I provided him with both.

When I got home, I later see that Telus had emailed me to complete the sign up process for a Telus account. As well, I was notified by a credit monitoring service that a credit check was performed by Telus on me!

I find this practice unethical and deceptive. At no time did I consent to this and I had also not given the rep any indication that I would like to sign up with Telus. I have contacted the location’s manager to formally complaint and seek an explanation. This is a violation of privacy.

Telus is the best company, but Telus store at Market Mall and the people working there making the image of the company worse. I went to inquire about the problem with my phone they did even care to ask why I am here for 20 minutes, then they said take it to the repair shop and pay to repair it, they didn't even care to see this phone was only 10 days old, I just retuned it as it was under 15 days return policy. I only see laziness and 0 customer service.

These people are at best rude snd incompetent. Or they will just straight up lie to your face. Record everything they say and compare it with your contract, because it WILL be different.

I was at Telus Market Mall yesterday move from freedom to telus. The greeter ask for my Name and Phone number and was told I will receive a call went its my turn, because there was a queue. I got a call after 30 minutes and Naomi help me with my EPP program. She was nice and help me with the transfer and activation. Transaction was very smooth. So far my experience was great. My only suggestion is hopefully the people in that store know how to smile and be more friendly.

10.45am Saturday Sept 30.
I called into the Market Mall store to purchase an accessory for my phone. The store was empty and 4 employees present. I approach the first guy and asked if he could help. He didn't ask what with, but pointed to the front of the store saying I had to scan the QR code and make an appointment, "we're very busy"! I only needed a dash mount for my phone, didn't matter apparently. I went to Best Buy.

You're losing it TELUS, where do you get these people from?

Saturday 30 October I went to get a new screen protector for the phone I had purchased there. All four employees were on their phones. With obviously personal calls.
I was told to make an appointment as they were too busy.
So I asked where the product I was looking for could be found and one just pointed. Not even getting up. There were multiple options. He said he was too busy to help not a single other customer was in the store.
Just unbelievably lousy service. I left and will never return despite a $1500 plus purchase made two weeks prior.

Asad A working at market mall Telus did an absolutely incredible job. He went over and above to ensure my new iPhone and iPad were synced properly and updated. Spent additional time ensuring I had new phone case installed properly. Showed me how to use and install my first ibuds! I would definitely use him for any further requests. Thank you so much

This store is very unfriendly and unhelpful. I stopped in to get a new phone as my plan was up for renewal.

No one acknowledged me for ten minutes and when I finally got someone’s attention he was very unhelpful and made it seem that I was an inconvenience to him and didn’t want to be there.

When he asked what he could help me with, I told him I was looking to upgrade my phone with the bring it back plan. He rudely told me that the phone I wanted was out of stock and that I had to call in myself at home to get my bring it back plan extended.
I asked if I he could please do it in store and he said no, and walked away.

This isn’t my first rude encounter with this store but I gave them another opportunity as they are the closest telus to my house.
I will not be shopping here anymore.

I will go to the other telus store, in North Hill mall that were more than happy to help. They assisted me with my new phone purchase (that was out of stock) and gladly did everything online and in store for me right then and there.

You go into the store and they tell you to call. You wait on hold for 1.5 hours and they tell you to go to the store. Done with Telus. Have a HUGE account that I’m canceling right now.

WATCH OUT! This store and company are extremely shady. We signed up for 2 new phone plans and were promised a bunch of discounts. 1 for already having internet through Telus, 1 for signing up for security and 1 for bundling our phone plans. For a grand total of $37.50 per phone/per month. Low and behold our first bill arrives and none of the discounts were on them. It literally took me over two weeks of calling and then finally going into the store to get any explanation. It was finally at that point that Jon (the employee that sold us the plans) admitted that the discounts can take months to be applied and he forgot to mention that! Just a minor detail! How is that even possible in this day and age? Is that legal? Doesn’t seem like it. I have never had a more frustrating experience with a cell phone company and that says a lot because they’re all crooks. Unacceptable!

I was at the Telus store at Market Mall with my mom who was having some technical issues. Carter was so helpful and patient with us as it took quite awhile with help from the IT department to get it all fixed.
