Last month, I decided to switch my cell phone plan to Koodo and visited their store. Everything went smoothly until we reached the point of signing the contract. To my surprise, I noticed a $50 connection fee included in the contract. Concerned about this charge, I approached one of the service representatives who was wearing glasses and asked for an explanation. He informed me that the fee couldn't be waived in the store, and told us we need to call Koodo loyalty department to get the fee waived.

Today, when the monthly bill came in, I called Koodo, and their loyalty department told me that the fee could only be waived for orders placed online or over the phone, not for services acquired in-store.

Feeling frustrated, I decided to return to the Koodo store. I met the same service representative and told him what I got from the phone call. He spent a considerable amount of time checking on the computer and eventually informed me that there was no promotion code associated with my plan. So I asked him, if the fee can not be waived, why don’t let me know before hand. He said: “I only said you might get the fee waived, you can try”.

I told him, you didn’t say things this way on that day. I then asked him: if I told you something like this way, will you believe me? He said: no. Then I asked him, then if you really told me things like this way, why should I believe you? Very simple, the way he said makes me believe that I am going to get the money back, otherwise, I won’t do it in the store. Then there are also a lot of talks doesn’t make sense, like: you don’t have evidence for what I said; why you sign the contract etc.

Kindly reminder, asking everything very clear in this store, and let them write down before signing the contract.

Matt and Stephen were exceptional this evening. We came in today to trade in three phones on bring it back, and they were so helpful in getting the phones up and working (even though the iPhones were such troubles). They stayed in the store a full HOUR after close to ensure all three phones got transferred over properly, which is so greatly appreciated. Thank you again for all your help! Highly recommend this store and the staff within!

Big Joke: literally happened to me today. I was looking for a new plan in Telus and went this location to get inquiry. First, there is a lock on front door then some body came and asked me for to show photo id. I don’t know why they asked for that? Without ID they are not allowed me to go inside. Wow? Second, I told him I have recently moved in Calgary and I don’t have physical card if they want I can show them a paper from registry which I got as my ID is on way. You know what they said, they said you have to wait until the photo ID come to your mail box and then you can come to stor. Literally worst Location I EVER EVER Seen. Lol.people, don’t go to this location.

Liars! I will get 200$ credit for my bills they said.never saw it on my account. Be careful with those people! You cant trust them! I dont know but maybe now, when we buying something, we have to record our conversation? Very disappointed!

The service in this store has been great, and Steven was an awesome employee to work with. In fact, the customer he was helping just before me stopped on his way out of the store to tell me how great he thought Steven was. Give this man a raise!

. Two staff and waited SO long to get help. Maybe hire more people or have more staff on per shift.especially because its such a sketchy area you have to ring the doorbell and show your ID to get in.

Great staff and extremely helpful. Yes there is going to be a wait, but would you rather be rushed, or cared for? Gareth was wonderful and answered all of our questions. Even helped a customer who came in distraught without a second thought. Highly recommend! Thank you for everything:)

This place is great, the people are easy to talk to about anything you need to ask them. They’re very nice and your not standing around waiting for ever to be service.
