Displays don’t change frequently and could up the science in my opinion. Interactive 3D movie experience was fun. I like how everything including parking is included in family pass. Good value if you plan to just drop in once in a while to explore and play. Food is a bit expensive so pack snacks and drinks.

Great bear documentary was awesome. The experience depends on which exhibits are available.

It's ok, the kids enjoyed the park outside and the playground inside, and the infinity dome was at capacity so we couldn't go inside. There were a lot of camp kids groups so next time book your ticket in advance for the dome

There is absolutely nothing worth seeing in here for $26. They made sound like an actual science centre but it’s just a bunch of kids running around. Had more fun with my friends in the parking lot. If you’re not a kid or don’t have kids, don’t come.

Amazing facility and has been since I was a kid. The only drawback is going as an adult, there’s not really a whole lot to do. The digital immersive gallery was not what it was chalked up to be. Unless you’re a family/group with small kids, you’ll be disappointed.

It’s a great time for the price. Spent 3hrs or so there. Got my learn on. The only down fall is it’s kinda for the kids more than the adults in a way. Can get annoying at times.

Less to do if no kid. Scout Fire show was funny with lots of explosions and a fun time with friends. He is a great actor and did lots of voices. The ice cream was good for pictures but melt fast. Spent 2 hours here.

Very entertaining, the kids loved it, I did too. I will say customer service is definitely an art, because at the Science Centre, they don't have it. But if you know your way around you won't really need to ask for much help

Fire Show by the boy named Scout was interesting and he had a lot of energy and enthusiasm. He was a good host and knew his stuff when kids asked him questions.

Other things were just for pictures - like the ice cream which melted fast and the Venus set up, and the digital rooms.

Need more interactive hands on things for the pre-teens to do.

Had an awesome day at TELUS Spark. I'm happy that entry now includes the movie (which I seem to recall was a surcharge in the past). The immersive new digital exhibit (which currently focuses on the cycle of life) was a very pleasant surprise. I think the science centre is a great twice a year thing, but I'm not sure of the annual pass value.

Stealing Fire and Scout were great! This is why Science Centers exist, to excite and educate their guests. Scout did this for our entire family of 6. Engaging, funny, quick witted, she worked very hard to develop the storey and teach the primary science principals. If they would’ve run the show again, we would have stayed to see it. This part of Spark – 5 out of 5 stars. The rest of Spark - Mediocre. Our family has been to several other large science centers around NA.
Digital Immersion Gallery – 2 out of 5. Lots of hype, not much here, very short.
Astronaut Ice Cream, while a cute idea, the science is in on Juvenile Diabetes increases and the related complications. A bit of Critical Thinking applied here by management could have conjured up something much better.
No Comment Cards, interesting approach to finding out what us guests think and feel.

Went there with my wife and two children, 10 and 12. Fortunately we had the adult admissions refunded but not the children. I will never step foot back in this place. Very disappointing.

Best things at the science centre:
1) Scout - He is the hidden gem of this place. Seen 3 of his shows so far about fries last summer, movie special effects for halloween and now one about fire. All have been fun.
2) The adult only nights - too bad those don't run anymore. They were a great date activity.
3) The new planetarium show - the voice actors aren't great but the graphics are solid and the music is a fun throwback.

Worst things:
1) Paying for parking (on top of tickets)
2) Buying tickets on the website - got booted out numerous times and couldn't get a hold of anyone by phone.
3) The digital gallery - too short at only 15 minutes, and one of the room doesn't even have projections. The story is also pretty dry.

It is a very cool place, but most of the activities are designed around younger kids. There is not as many really fun activities as there used to be. It is quite crowded.

Really cool science centre. Rotating exhibits are often very good. Standard exhibits get a bit old, but the kids always have great fun.

Check out the big outdoor slide but be prepared for a workout to get to the top

Great spot for my kids and it is easily a place with good revisit value as the kids grow. Went at opening, no issues with lines or parking and we stayed approximately 4 hours

So much fun and interesting content! Staff was amazing, hands on and always visible. Food prices are high, of course, but you can bring food and eat in the dining area. My fave part was the free-to-use sensory bag for children. It's genuinely very thoughtful. Highly recommend!

The only reason this place is getting 5 stars is because of the interactions we had with a performer named Scout. He was the highlight our our day and the best part of the entire experience.

My family and I haven't been to the science center in years but came because of the smoke. Overall the place wasn't as good as the old center from years ago. The new highly advertised Digital Gallery didn't live up to the website hype. It was only 15 minutes long and the kids got bored half way through. We got there close to noon and were ready to leave 2 hours later when we heard an announcement about a fire show and were then spoken to by a worker who told us it was like a science play. My family loves theatre so we gave it a shot and we are SO glad we did.

The performer Scout was everything we could have asked. He was full of energy from the start and very dynamic. The show was obviously very well written (later he told me it was written by another performer who works there), but he made it a personal experience. The venue was packed but my kids felt like he was talking just to them. Very personal in his use of wit, and joking ways with the audience. He is clearly a born entertainer. Kept all my family, ages 5-20 engaged throughout. He pulled the audience in with his use of different voices and physicality and charming confidence (as my wife called it). His inclusion of some funny side adult jokes were well received by the older patrons. The use of the story with the experiments was thoughtful and new for us for a science center show. After the show he was also very kind and patient with all the kids who had questions about the show including the silly hypotheticals my kids brought up. His explanations were thoughtful and scientific but very digestible when he spoke to my youngest.

Before we left I tried to leave a comment at the front desk about the show and Scout but they didn't have any cards or anything to fill out. So, I'm leaving this review here. If you are going to Spark - make sure you see Scout perform to get your moneys worth. He alone is what made it worth the high admission cost. That kid is going places.
