The amenities are disgusting and dirty hair and dirt all over the change rooms the toilets look like they’re never clean people spitting and blowing their nose all over the floor. Hairs floating in the pool all over and the staff hardly ever clean the place. It’s too bad it used to be one of the cleanest nicest rec centres in Edmonton. Now it’s one of the dirtiest and the grossest.

The Pool area is a Joke and Too many People overflowing it most days and Change rooms Dirty and overcrowded and unusable. The hot tub was Gross and Swim was a joke pool with Broken waves or no waves that never work or they just don’t care after a hard time this pool has Really gone downhill. The Group Fitness is ok but Careful in the change rooms or just prepare before you go. Try Confederation or Any other Pool then this pool. I did Complain about the pool or the Dirty rooms Staff didn’t Care and I just walked away

Pretty good gym facility. I'll be coming here over GoodLife; GoodLife is just way too expensive now. More equipment at terwillegar than the last time I came a number of years ago. The facility is starting to show signs of aging though. Not a fan of the lockers with codes, I'd rather use my own lock but I can see there being less chances of someone breaking into lockers this way.

Plenty of parking in the evening. When hockey season is on, parking is very challenging.

Rates are very reasonable. If you are a City employee or get city discounts with your employer it's worth getting a pass. Best deal out there now.

Their staff is the most knowledgeable among of the Edmonton recreational center. There were able to simply explain their service and got my work done quickly.

SOME of the staff were helpful towards me today when my bag was stolen in the locker room and my car keys wallet and ID were all taken. What bothers me most is the fact that this facility has had a car stolen from this place last Thursday same instance.many other cars stolen by a 14 year old boy and there isn't a single warning notice or information about this to keep people aware and it keeps happening! Where is the prevention action taken by the city or the facility to keep its members and users safe from theft? I'm so upset that this person has my address and the key to my vehicle. It's just a headache to replace the cards etc but they know where I live and can come take my car whenever.

I will never visit this place again.

Some of the diving boards don't work and the wave pool is not working and the slide have crackes life guards are not responsible

My locked locker was robbed of my debit card and account drained. Only employees have the fob.like seriously. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN!

The staff at the counter is not a nice person.
We got here at 5: 25. Parking is way down the road. I took my two little girls running through the entire facility to get to aquatic Center. We got to the counter just past 5: 30. There are some people queuing. So we waited a bit and when it’s our turn, only 6 minutes past 5: 30, this guy insisted on charging the full price, instead of junior promotion admission of $2. I tried to argue but he won’t listen.
I can afford 7.5 admission. Don’t get me wrong. I resent him for being unnecessarily unkind.

Why is he so mean to little girls?

Bad experience. City should consider hiring better people.

The staff here are very rude. I was working out in the gym I dropped the weights after my sets, one staff member came up to me and yelled stop slamming the weights that hard on the ground. I wasn’t slamming the weights I was putting them down the reason why it made so much noise was because it was 115 pounds. These gym floors are meant to take the strain of these heavy weights. I explained it to him however he responded in a very rude way and blaming everything on me and even threatening to kick me out and he was also threatening and imitating me that he will keep an eye on for now where ever I go. This is very unprofessional behaviour even if I was wrong you do not have the right to invade my privacy I understand we can make a mistake however address it in a calm and professional manner this behaviour is unacceptable and I hope this place takes action on it otherwise I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here because this behaviour is unacceptable

This place is horrible the staff here are very unprofessional and rude with people, and not just that this place is very unorganized. The pools are absolutely disgusting and unsanitary and unorganized. The gym is also unsanitary and disgusting. If you let the staff know these concerns they will reply in a very rude way. My advice don’t go here spend your money on a different rec centre

Pool is absolutley filthy. Hair covering the floors in the family change room. Definitely over capacity. That being said it was a Saturday afternoon and someone puked in the wave pool so it was chaotic. Nonetheless I expect more for cleanliness on a city operated facility. I used commonwealth pool for years and never experienced this kind of grime and filth.

Swimming pool was packed and the water was yellow. It smelled disgusting, so much pee. The lazy river was so low and wasn't even a lazy river. Felt like the regular pool. The lazy river was so lazy it didn't even move.

The best place to have fun with your family. Very friendly staff, clean atmosphere. Do have some eatery. Lots and lots of parking spaces. Free access for people with community league membership.

We stopped going to this pool quite some time ago. The water used to leave our skin feeling scummy and filmy, even after showering. The floors, and just everywhere you walk at all, is absolutely disgusting. You can tell by the calcium and film buildup on all the tiles, that they do not use any sort of cleaner, nor do they really use water to clean up the floors. There were bandaid and fallen hair all over the floors in the locker room. Not only the extreme uncleanness of this place, something is ALWAYS broken. It was a shock to see that they had the slide fixed; however, the bathing suit spinner was out of order, and 40% of the lockers in the women's change room were out of order. We figured that we would try it out after not being here for more than a year, and as it appears, nothings has changed, and has actually gotten worse. We definitely will not return here, EVER! We gave it a second chance, but it's just not gonna get any better.

Rude ignorant service from staff member front desk. I am at the gym everyday and my dad paid for a yearly membership discounted by insurance from his work. He doesn’t use it and he redeemed it for me but his photos and information was put instead since he was the one who paid. Everyone lets me uses his pass at the gym because I am the one who uses it just me and every staff member is aware I’m always at the gym. It’s obviously he is my dad when I have an ID that has the same last name as the information registered in their system and address. I do not understand where the rude attitude, biased tone, racism, and awful vocabulary to communication comes from this lady when I go to this facility everyday. She probably thinks I am a student nearby when in fact I am a university student at the UOA. I am clearly disappointed by the poor service, rude interaction, and attitude with me. I will be bringing my dad in to file a report against this women since he was the one who owns the pass but clearly bought it for me. I have photos of the women but she has a bob cut, tall, asian, and has a tomboy figure. She has a low tone and she is awfully rude.

Fantastic facility simply because it's new and a bustling hub of all kinds of activity-swimming, skating, exercise, and all sorts of recreation-but parking is an absolute nightmare and perhaps a victim of the facility's success. A parking lot full racing cars, looking anxiously for an empty spot. Dangerous for the kids and a clear example of a failure in planning, traffic planning that is.

Its a great rec centre. A bit busy on holidays but lots for all ages to do. The indoor playground is pretty awesome. We like the diving boards but find they are closed alot so that would be our improvement request.

The most modern recreational sports center. There are around four ice hockey rinks and four world-class swimming pools. Besides that, there are gems for exercise. This place is quite busy.

Great recreation services. Baaaaaad parking lot situation, especially for those with accessibility needs.

Similar to another review, the cleanliness of the pool and floors in the change rooms does leave a bit to be desired at times. Though it is mainly due to volume of people. Otherwise, Me and others really enjoy Terwillegar?

No safe change room for families. My main issue is the tons of creepy dudes and teenage couples in family change room. I have two small daughters and my wife has seen a man expose himself in the family shower. Not ok.

Love this place. It is one of the biggest recreation centers in the city if not the biggest with two ice rinks, basketball courts, pools, and many programs and events. It has a booster juice and a second cup inside.

The thing I like most about it is that it's accessible to everyone and is not an exclusive club of kinds. All kind of people are welcome and the city has done a great job in bringing together the communities.

Favourite recreation center in edmonton! Nice big gym and lots of equipments and helpful staff!

Beautiful update building. Swimming pool. Ice rinks. Second Cup and Booster Juice. Lots of parking. Handicap friendly.

Went swimming with our son and his family. The pool and hot tub are awesome! Nice and warm compared to other pools. Our 2 year old grandson loved the water slide so much he didn't want to leave

Not as bad to get over the bridge construction as I thought it would be. Wouldn’t want to go down the Henday south during rush hour however.
