Worst Experience with Tesla super-chargers in winter. Out of 8 chargers only 2 is working. This is not what i thought about Tesla. No one came to fix it. I came here yesterday and again today nothing fixed.
How does this charging station have 4.7 stars? Got here at 5: 30am before leaving Calgary to get to Kelowna and in 2 hours I got 150km. It didn’t start charging 200km/hour until 7am when 2 other cars showed up.
I’m new to teslas, so I thought the station would have to warm up even thought my battery was preconditioned. It was raining when I got here.
For being the only fast charger in a big city Calgary, and a 10 car lineup last night, I think this station needs improvements and more stations to be added in town.
Only supercharger in Calgary. Expect line ups and super slow charging. When all 8 bays are filled, a full charge takes 2.5 hours here on a Model 3 standard range. Why they haven’t installed a proper electrical service here, being the only one around, makes no sense
Always busy but convenient with the mall right there. Only problem is each time I’ve charged here there’s the same creepy old guy in a blue Y who stares directly at me THE WHOLE TIME I’M charging. Even if i look back, it’s like a staring contest I don’t even want to win. Such a weird dude. It’s not an angry state or a leering one, just a deadpan, unwavering gaze…
Insufficient stalls - better come here when everyone else is asleep - stall 1B still busted for my entire half-week in Alberta. Stop at Banff: nothing to see beyond the Rockies (throughout the prairies).
Ok lot of slots but charging rate is bit slow but location has lot of outlets close by hence you can pass time. No other option as this is only supper charger around this side of calagary.
Out of sheer curiousity and for safety reasons parked nearby. Looks to be adequate facilities for Tesla vehicles. Quite impressive. I believe maybe the property might want to add more all the tesla charging stations were in use. Impressive.
There are not enough fast-charging stations. There are only two in the Greater Calgary area. One in CrossIron Mills and the other in Strathmore. None in Calgary.
Useless to me. I don't have a Tesla. And usually, drivers are napping while they are waiting. Anyway, I'm biased against it. I live and breathe oil & gas.
Well they finally fixed the Chargers last week so you will get full rate but they are still only V2 so 125kw max and you share that with the A/B stall.
My friends car was about to die an electronic death! We got it to the station, wrong plug, but a good fellow lent us a cord while shopping. All ended well.
First time admirer. I hope to one day have a use for this but for now both our vehicles run on diesel dino juice. I think I'll get the one that has doors like a damn Lamborghini or Delorean. I'll open those door and get up to 88MPH and create the necessary 1.21 gigawatts of energy needed to either travel time or a first class ticket to heaven via a brick wall. Either way, what a ride.
This charging location is super convenient, its rarely blocked now unlike before when it was first built.charges quickly at ~150kW for my S. Only thing that would make it better is a large solar canopy.
Super cool! I like the idea that they have charge stations and the environment in mind. Now if only I, and every other human being on the planet could afford a Tesla car. But hey, they're coming down in price, right?: D
