Fruit and vegetables are a little more expensive then Independent but much better quality and last long before going bad. Case lot sales are usually good though.
Local groceries at high prices.this place is exclusively for things you forgot from the real grocery store.they keep developing the store into a boutique convenience store.when visiting High Level, buy groceries at the real store (independant) and don't waste your money here.
Ice creams have been sitting in the freezer for a year now, maybe more. They are basically an ICE BLOCK at this point. The staff is moderately good besides the fact that I get stared down everytime I look at the merchandise as if I'm gonna steal. The smell takes some getting used to sometimes, needs dusting in certain places as well. Besides all that it is a grocery store with many different products, including a $30.00 (small) action figure of someone from a recent movie (Star wars) with only a small value estimated at $5-$10 give or take.
The better of the two grocery stores here. The sevice is good and there is more variety. I also find the workers to generally be more happy here than Independent.
Great customer service, best I've seen in a long time, clean store, great execution of covid procedures and a clean store that is easily navigated overall great shopping experience
Well Its my Go to Store Fer The Meat. And the service is great. Even the Manager will make time to serve his Customers? ! Thanx Bro. Imma A loyal Shopper
I work here, and if my experience will tell you anything, It's that working here, it's alright. Pretty laidback bosses, and as long as you get your work done, they don't have any problems. Whatsoever. Helping out with stuff and such.
TL;DR - Get your work done and manage Eggs, Pop, and Milk stuff, and do whatever tasks your boss (es) assign to you and you'll make it. Gets repetitive after a while of working here. You'll know what to do after a while and it's all automatic after you stamp your yellow weekly time card.
P. S - Don't ask for your days off as soon as you start.:)
Don't go shopping here during the evenings/ late afternoons on the weekend, it's always super busy! I like going during the day in the week. The older cashier is super nice, they have 3 registers open and not many people shopping.
My son worked for TGP for five years off and on. They were amazing to him. He started when he was in school and TGP staff scheduled his work hours around his school and basketball practices and games. They went out of their way to accommodate him in every way. Special thanks go out to Calvin and his staff at the TGP store in High Level!
