I remember I walked in for a haircut one day 6 years ago, and I have been coming back ever since. Come check out Millrise Barber Shop, and the great team of dedicated barbers who have become like family to me.

The worst haircut ever. I walked in and there was a lady who decided to cut my hair. Totally unprofessional and she didn’t even know how to handle the scissors. It was my first ever visit and definitely the last one. We pay for your services and we expect at least something in return. Please consider your options if it’s your first time, never visiting this place again.

I don’t normally write reviews but I definitely do read them. So I went by the reviews and Abe did a great job on my hair even though the shop was busy, he still took the extra time to cut my hair to my spec. Enjoy your travels in June.

The guys have been doing my hair for 5 yrs now. Can't get a beauty salon to do my undercut and shave. P. S. I'm female. The guys are friendly and the prices are great

People were friendly, but hair cut was average, can't say for all staffs, but at least mine was.

Great little locally owned barbershop, they've always been able to get me, or my son in with little notice. If you like to talk sports these guys are great to chat with! Awesome haircuts.

I've been using millrise barbershop for years now with Abe and have always been happy with my cut. Guys here are a great bunch and definitely listen and take their time. I'll definitely continue using them and recommend them to anyone in the area.

Hands down the worst haircut of my life. Upon walking in the female who cut my hair was eating McDonald’s in the guest chairs. Once she started cutting my hair I knew it was going to be BAD but It was too late. My face was covered in cut hair and I had to ask her to show me the back of my neck and I was horrified… Ray Charles could give a better fade.

Took my son for a cut. The barber wasn't really friendly, and more importantly, the cut was mediocre at best. We won't return.

First time going here about a week ago, they exceeded my expectations with the delivery of the haircut I wanted, I will be going here from now on.

My husband took my son here for a cut a couple weeks ago. They were very friendly and good with my son but the haircut wasn’t all that great. It wasn’t blended and very uneven.

Abe did a good job but not quite as good as the last time I was there. The last time he shampooed my hair, trimmed my beard and charged me the same. Maybe he had a bad day but I will go back and give him another shot.

Best Barber in Alberta. Professionalism all around and masters of their trade. Always leave with confidence and a smile on my face!

Mike and Jamal are the best in city hands down! Every time I go to them I always get ask where I get my haircuts form. Never had a bad experience with them and I always recommend them to my friends.

I go here to see Mike. Mike is one of the best barbers I have had. He takes the time to make sure everything is even and good. The staff is friendly.

I was in out of town for some family pictures. Needed a place to make me look good before hand. The Barber shop pulled through with flying colors. My hat goes off to the lady there who did what I would consider, so much more than what I paid for. Family and friends thought I looked great. I felt great. Great Barber shop

They charge $3 per service as a 'Covid-19 fee' while not even performing a regular clean, let alone a special sanitation that may justify such a fee, while being on the pricier side of the barber shop market.

Been going here for 7 years, never had a bad haircut no matter who's cut my hair. The one time I went elsewhere they screwed it up and I had to come in and get it fixed here. Great bunch of guys too.

I've been coming to Mike for a while now and every experience has been wonderful. He's professional, respectful and always listens to what I want. He's even suggested a new fade that my girl loves. I would recommend him to anyone.

The Barber Shop is by far the best place to get a haircut with a splash of old fashioned conversation on any topic discussed... Great owner, his staff always go above and beyond!

Best barber shop I've ever been to. I've been going here for a few years now and I can honestly say Mike has given the best cuts I've ever had. He's got a great attention to detail and always goes above and beyond to get me the cut I have pictured in my head.

I've been going to this barbershop since it pretty much opened. Jamal has a good crew of barbers. They're all so professional and personable, more importantly they can all cut and fade. I always go in to see Mike. These guys remind me of your good old classic barbershop that you see on TV. Hair cuts, beard trims, good stories and good laughs!

You have to ignore the older reviews of this place from 7-8 years ago. It used to be run by someone else by the name of AJ. Now that he's gone, the new people working here are just absolutely fantastic. You won't be disappointed with whomever cuts your hair. All very nice people who engage in great conversation, and you come out looking and feeling great! If you live in the areas of Millrise, Shawnessy, Midnapore, Sundance, Evergreen, Somerset, Bridlewood, or Silverado, this is by far, hands down, without a doubt, the best place to get a men's haircut in that part of Calgary.

Finding a great barber can be challenging. We've tried Tommy Guns and various other shops. We found Mike at the Barber Shop in Millrise. His cuts are flawless. Attention to every detail and the clean up on the edges is second to none. He doesn't rush and ensures that the cut is perfect. Let's just say, I drive all the way from Airdrie to have him cut my sons' hair. He is the best in biz and we will continue to be loyal clients. Great cuts, great value, and he consistently exceeds customer service! DON"T GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I have been going to this barbershop for a few years now. I must say, never have I had a day where I hated my haircut from them. All of them, specially Mike, are great barbers. I have recommended many of my friends to go here and I guarantee you all of them would say the same.

I used to bounce around different salons, then roughly 4 years ago, I finally decided to try out a barber shop. This location was close to where I lived, so I decided to check it out.

I had Mike on my first visit, and I can say with absolute certainty I won't be needing to look for a new barber. The quality of his haircuts are fantastic, and has amazing attention to detail. Mike was very professional for the first couple years that I went, and now when I go, it's like catching up with a friend. A fresh cut, and a good time with a friend, two for the price of one. What more can you ask for?

All the other barbers are very talented, and great people, but I would highly recommend Mike if you can get him. His schedule is usually jammed pretty tight. Thanks Mike!

I have been coming here since I moved here from Toronto 3 years ago. Mike has always done a fantastic job on my hair and I come here bi-weekly knowing the high quality service and cut I will get.

Went in asking for a low fade on the sides and to take some off the top, barber explained how much he would take off the top which seemed okay. However little did I know I would get a buzzcut which is not what I wanted at all. Now I have to wait another couple months to grow my hair back to the way it was fml.

Eli is the most meticulous barber I’ve ever had. He takes the time to make it perfect every time! Never disappointed.

Great and friendly staff I've been going here for the last 5 years and i also take my boys here the staff are great with my boys who are 4 years and 2 years old. You cant go wrong with any of the staff they are polite and professional!

Went on a Sunday morning after reading all the good reviews. Walked in and got a woman that would seem to not know how to cut men’s hair. Didn’t seem to know at all what she was doing. By the time I realized this it was too late to turn back. Ended up getting the worst cut I have had in a long time. Maybe the men can cut hair but I won’t be back.

Excellent Barber shop. Very comfortable atmosphere. Mike did an awesome job, I'll definitely be back. Looking forward to seeing the shop after the renovation in May.
