The Birch Kitchen_Bar

Seems like a nice place however we walked in, sat down for 20 minutes without even getting waters and ended up walking over to ask for service. A while later a server came and snobbily told us they were training someone today and it was busy. The restaurant was maybe at 2/3 capacity. She was unapologetic so we left. Can’t comment on the food as we were not able to get service

Overall, I would give this restaurant a NO. Go somewhere else. It is complete chaos, the service lacks, and for the price you are better off with a hungry man.at least you will receive that hot.

Nice interior and good views - food quality wasn’t that great though. I liked the croissant sandwich and mushroom soup. The server was nice but didn’t take off a meal from the bill which I didn’t eat because it didn’t taste what is was supposed to taste like. I think it’s a good spot to sit and enjoy the view but can definitely find better food options for the same price.

Pretty expensive for what one gets.

Only had fish and chips and my friend had hamburger and fries.
100$ meal and I ate off an old cutting board with dinner paper.

I know it's over the holidays, but no bartender, Waitresses are too busy making drinks instead of tending to customers. Got half of what I ordered. Had to get my own steak knife. Only pizza option was a large. (For a child). I wouldn't order the steak there again.poor vegetables as well.

For sure birch is good place for dining and Amaya did an amazing job, I ordered flat bread and pasta awesome food

My server was a complete gem! She was amazing, sadly she had to do damage control between me and kitchen.order a poutine to go for my husband after I had my meal, to which some other girl brought put within 10 mins of ordering it. I was confused and my server jumped in brought it back to the kitchen telling them the order was "Hold" until I ate. I ordered my cheese and bacon burger with gravy on the side. I got my meal by the other server, I told her I was missing my side of gravy, she went back to kitchen and I waited 10 mins before getting up to get it myself, my server finally brought it to me.cold, like refrigerator cold, so I brought it back to them. My server corrected it right away and took it off my bill. While I sat there after my meal finishing my drink the kitchen staff had asked my server what I was doing she told them us my guess. In the end this place needs to have a discussion with kitchen staff about Food quality and service my meal was mediocre. Although my server was freaking amazing! Idk her name but she was the red head! Give that girl a raise!

Came first time there for brunch, it was very busy and the food came on time with the top notch service. The Aussie girl deserves raise.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. We waited for 10 minutes just to get seated. Once we were another 10 to get our order taken. Now the service was so poor that multiple tables and customers who came and were seated after us were given their orders. After 50 minutes, and 2-3 groups were served before us. I understand it was busy and slammed but this type of service was not at all expected that we would be ignored entirely. Because of this wait completely ruined the time we reached Banff.

The Birch was a great dining experience in Jasper! The prices were kind of expensive, however for the quality it was well worth it! I had the pho special, and it was pretty decent! Furthermore the chicken parmesan and quesadilla were so good! Great dinner spot in Jasper!

Had a great dinner with my family! The food was really good as well as the service! A great new addition to Jasper Restaurants!

Whenever we Air bnb in Hinton and spend our days in Jasper, we always find ourselves drawn back to this restaurant. Last time we did have an inexperienced server but could overlook that because we felt the food quality/ quantity made up for it. We like to get there a little early for dinner and take advantage of their happy hour.
Will be back again when staying at The Sherwood Bungalow in Hinton. Another 5 star review there.

Fabulous food & service. Fresh ingredients & delicious. We had dinner here and went straight back the next day for brunch! Not cheap but totally worth it!

Loved everything about this place! The Shanghai Noodles, the Rib eye sandwich and the Thai style shrimp cakes were all delicious! The Vanilla pomegranate mojito and the Virgin coconut margarita were delightful, well put together cocktails. The service and ambiance made us feel warm and welcome.
