FINALLY a properly prepared Caesar salad.definitely was Not expecting that what a pleasant surprise this little spot was.in an increasingly difficult industry where portions have shrunk and quality is hit and miss in an effort to make a buck The Boot definitely does it right! And fifty bucks for two pizzas and a salad where the standard is at least 8-10 bucks more for each wheel I will definitely become a regular of this little gemPerfect crust and just the right amount of toppings and did I mention the authentic Caesar salad! Lol So Good!
My Husband and I ordered Lasagna from this Restaurant. The reviews were great so we decided to try it. Worst Lasagna we have ever had! It came in a container and looked like a Pizza Slice. Very Dry No Taste (very bland). We took a few bites and the rest went to Garbage! First and Last Time ordering from this Restaurant! Very Disappointed
Love this restaurant! I’ve gotten a different meal every time and each time I’ve throughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend the seafood Alfredo, lasagna and all of the pizzas!
I like The Boot because it’s not so expensive place but all food are so good and healthy! A lot of people are there all the time Very friendly stuff and I felt myself relaxing
If you are celiac or gluten intolerant DO NOT eat here.
They have an open window into the kitchen so you can see how they’re preparing the food. They took no extra precautions with my gluten free pizza, they put it on the same oven as all the other pizzas with nothing underneath of it to prevent contamination. After it was done cooking, they removed my gluten free pizza with the same massive spatula that was used on all the pizzas that contained gluten.
Our service was subpar we wanted drinks and no one came back to take a drink order after we got our food. The plates that were provided to us on our table (meant for sharing appetizers) weren’t used, and the server put them back in the plate pile that the kitchen and servers were grabbing for other tables. If a plate that was on someone else’s table and then given to me without being washed first id be concerned about a multitude of health violations and more gluten cross contamination.
As a restaurant that markets their meals as gluten free, please do better. I shouldn’t have to leave your establishment puking because you don’t take any precautions with prepping gluten free meals.
It's an absolutely amazing little Italian restaurant with excellent food! Even the Gluten-Free pasta options were incredible. And to top it off the staff are all very kind and helpful! We will most definitely be back!
Cozy and friendly. We shared a lovely fresh salad to start, garlic toast, and their delicious Bolognese! Prices are very reasonable, waitress was friendly and attentive.
We always order delivery from the Boot and it is definitely the very best restaurant in Cochrane. The food is always exceptional, like it was just made for us in our own kitchen. There is never an issue of any kind. We simply can't say enough. Wish we could order every night!
Wish I live in Cochrane so I could have pizza from this place everyday. Not only is it great pizza, but it's ran by the sweetest family. We had a dog with us and they actually set up space on the patio to accommodate us (vs.some places where they ask you to chain your dog around a park lot fence). To be clear, I'm not sure what their dog policy is but they are definitely accommodating. Only manage to snap up 1 picture because we devoured the other pizzas so quickly.so obviously it was delicious.
Their food is absolutely delicious. Gluten free options and they try to cater to make something for you if its not on the menu. Gor example, we wanted the bruschetta. They made it with cauliflower crust instead. Can't say enough positives things about The Boot. A real hidden gem in Cochrane.
The new owner has been there since day 1 and she made sure the food is still delicious and authentic! Great experience every-time I bring my family! Food is too notch! Highly recommended and worth the drive!
Nice little Italian spot. It looks like it's run by Filipinos but don't let it fool you. Their menu is legit. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and it was really delicious. Looked so good that I burned my mouth jumping into it too quickly. The tiramisu was also excellent and I kinda wish I ordered another one for me instead of sharing.
Thus is our favourote restaurant in town. The food is always delicious (the chicken Cotaletta is amazing!). We were there tonight, and even though they were super busy, we felt well attended to. And the food once again was top notch, the servi gs are generous. It's a small restaurant, so be sure to reserve if you plan to be there in peak times.
I’ve had the pizza here a few times now. The Salumi, Golosa, and Proscuitto Cotto e Funghi (ham and mushroom). It’s been cooked very well each time. The crust here is really good and has that nice brown/black colour showing it’s cooked at a good temp. Unique offerings of toppings for each. Best pizza I’ve found in Cochrane for sure and price is reasonable for the ingredients. Family members have had the pasta and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.
We visited this place when they first opened and thought it was pretty good and seemed authentic. Now years later went back for the first time and the quality is so bad and it is NOT AUTHENTIC. Honestly, it's mostly going in the trash and we are so aware of food waste - but this is inedible.
