The worst brick I’ve ever been to. I had absolutely terrible service getting a tv, I walked out of the store saying I didn’t want the tv anymore and they charged me $900! I went in knowing what tv I wanted and knew that it was in stock at their store. I was there for a total of an hour and a half When it should’ve taken half the amount. The sales associate told me it was out of stock when he was standing right beside it, said he would back in two minutes and I waiting 15. I wanted to do the Flexiti payment plan and he gave me an absurd amount to pay the first day and I said no thank you. I came back in the store to speak to management and they were very rude. I find out the sales associate CHARGED my Flexiti credit card already when I said I didn’t want it. Worst ever

I have made lots of purchases from Shabby as he is an amazing person so I highly suggest anyone looking to use him as he’s very helpful and trustworthy.

Summary: Stay away from Brick at all cost for buying appliances. Unless you have a lot of time and energy to spend. They are good at selling but provide really bad customer service afterward.

Purchased LG washer, dryer and pedestals from this location. Experienced three failed deliveries:
1. Washer has a small dent so was taken away, left the dryer and pedestals in the hallway
2. Washer was moved upstairs and found a big dent at the back, left in our hallway again
These are computerized washer and dryer that a small dent could mean a huge damage.
3. Spent another week inspecting the washer before delivery. Finally got everything in place!
But the delivery guys didn't know how to install the pedestal washer. So they only did the washer and dryer.
When calling to inquire, the store first suggest us to pay extra for their install service, which should be included in the price already. Then, they claimed have to email some other place to send more technician to get everything installed. And it will take however long they want.

After many times of calling and communication, we've been without a washer and dryer for over three week. So we decided to hire another company and pay extra installation fee ourselves. When the technician came, he noticed the Brick installation has something not right! Ended up redoing everything!

Throughout the entire process, we were only apologized once, and every time we need to explain the situation again to the person answer the call. And they made it seem like they are doing us a favor to fix the issue.
By the way, the comment for our review is just a joke. We emailed the address provided by them, but there's absolutely no response.

Warranty settlement - called brick approx 10 times no answer finally got someone left a message for the correct dept to call me. Never got a call, left another message never got a call after being promised they would call me same day. Now a week later still trying to reach them and no one answers in any dept tried again for 2 days.

Shaby is my go to person for any purchase at the Brick, he is extremely knowledgeable, deal with patience and go above and beyond to help the clients. With our recent purchase of sectional, he recommended few good options and helped us in the buying process which was extremely smooth and transparent.he even followed up after the sectional was delivered to make sure everything went well.he is amazing!

STAY AWAY! I bought Samsung washer Dryer combo and installed last saturday. Today I washed dirty clothes and they locked in the machine. I wasn't happy with dryer as well but this is another and huge problem to me. Its book doesn't even shows the icon that machine showson ot now and doesn't explane how to deal with it. Calling Brick, they says I could return it in 7 days and today is 8th day. It is not a TV, isn't it? I cannot discover all the programs and check if they work properly in 7 days! We are not washing clothes every day, waiting for weekends. Help line says 'if you want to make a puchase' they are online, other option 'if you already made a puchase' it is offline. Nothing to say. Paying 3 thousand dollar for a terrible set. Thank you Brick for not helping.

Mr. Ravneet (Salesperson) sold the mattress, headrest, frame and bunch of other stuff with the assurance that, the assembler will come and assemble EVERYTHING for you. The assembler showed up and denied assembling the headrest with the frame. Went back to Store as he was not reachable or responding. Left a message with the manager, and followed up with the sales person, sales person totally denied the commitment he made at the time of sales. Don't rely on this store, they will commit anything to do their sales. Worst experience.

This is our second appliance purchase from the brick and my first time with Ravneet as my sales person. They gave us a great price, and Ravneet was accessible and responsive. He would update with any potential delivery conflicts and did an amazing job ensuring my order was delivered in FULL. Great customer service.

I am at the house now with the appliances getting delivered, ON TIME, and the deliver people - Kyle and John (and a trainee) are so courteous and accommodating! They are patient and instructive with the trainee and they are so polite and respectful of the house. I can’t say enough good things about my recent experience. 10/10 would recommend

We had purchased a dresser from the Brick and one came damaged. It took 16 days to finally get Brick to give us a refund (they originally said they would ship a new one in 3-8 days, but that never happened). They wanted us to drop off the damaged dresser in order to get the refund, but we demanded they come pick it up since it was their mistake. When they picked up the dresser, they said the refund would be issued the day of or the next day. We waited 4 days and still nothing. We called the Brick and the person helping us said the refund didn’t even get issued. So not only did they take the damaged product, the didn’t even bother issuing our refund until we called. I ended up having to physically to the Brick to finally get the refund. The Brick was very unprofessional in how they handled the situation and treated us, the people we were on the phone with were very rude as well. Bad customer service and terrible product. Would highly recommend to not purchase from them.

I had a warranty issue with a mattress purchased at The Brick. They sent me a form to submit my claim, which I completed but was unable to load the required photos. So I went to the West Edmonton store instead and met Cheyenne in Customer Service. She was very kind and completed the form on my behalf including the photos and arranged for a technician to visit my home to inspect the defective mattress. After six weeks of time consuming online follow-up with various departments at The Brick whereby I became very frustrated, I decided to contact Cheyenne. Within two weeks of contacting her, the claim was settled and a replacement mattress was purchased and delivered. They even waived the delivery charge. I own a lot of furniture from The Brick and this was my first problem, but I am pleased to know that they really do have Customer Service.

We bought 2 dressers from the Brick, one came back completely damaged (images attached). We messaged the Brick on July 21st complaining about the damaged dresser and wanting a new one delivered. They agreed and said it would take 3-8 days to get a new one. We then waited 15 days (and called 3x in between checking on the status, each time them saying to wait a little longer). By day 16 we got tired of waiting and wanted a refund. It took several managers and calls to head office to finally grant that. They took away the damaged furniture, said the refund would take 1-2 days, and we still have not gotten anything back. Luckily we took photographic evidence. We have been loyal customers of the Brick for 15 years, but after this incident we will no longer be returning. The whole time we received not ONE apology for our inconvenience, and the Brick never took accountability for THEIR mistakes. All the staff that worked with us were rude and gave an attitude, and not empathetic of our situation at all. I would STRONGLY recommend not purchasing from the Brick. We are disappointed with how they handled the situation and how they treated us as customers, and will not be purchasing from them again.

Sorry to say my recent purchase at the Brick south commons has being a gong show. Firstly, at the time of purchase assembly was discussed and I was assured because of the weight it would be put together for me. It arrived early and I was told it had to be delivered within 7 days so I changed my plans, cleared out my dinning room and got ready for the arrival. At delivery when I asked about installation was told it was not slated to be installed, as I had house guests arriving this wasn’t going to work. After much conversation and a trip to the store, they said if I could find someone to put it together they would pay for it. Thanks to helpful friends this was accomplished. I noticed that the caulking was not correct and called the store, they booked a repair man for Wednesday. He did not arrive and says he phoned; however, no call showed up on my call display and I was at home waiting for the call. Rebooked for Friday only to have a re run of the same thing. Called the store again and they would not give me a contact number of the repair service or able to help other than they would send an email and let me know what he said. I have now spent two days sitting and waiting, and they won’t make an exact time appointment. So not sure what my next move should be have asked for a manager or supervisor and they have another excuse for that.

My hubby and I walked into the brick, Gurmeet Arora greeted us immediately and took us right to the set we had been looking at on line. Within minutes, she had us all signed up with our new card and amount approved. She was extremely helpful and very thorough in her knowledgeable approach to all things concerning our purchase. We highly recommend the brick after much searching to get the best bang for our buck

My Wife and I made a trip into town looking for a new washer and dryer set for our home. We decided to go to the The Brick at west Edmonton Mall. Our Sales Lady, Simran, was fantastic to deal with.that was our second time working with her and her level of customer service and care is outstanding. I would highly recommend this young lady to anyone that is wanting some real and honest customer service.she will do all she can to make you feel welcome and get you the best deal she can! It was a great experience and trust me i am not the easiest person to deal with.

Great quality furniture! Bought new sofa here recently. Theyve got great deals in store. The sales advisor give best service! And might give extra discounts too! They also offer interest free payments which was very convenient. Only downside was the delivery which can take months!

We went there October 1st looking for items.
An awesome lady named Beverly came to us to see if we needed help. We said Yes.
We were looking for a sectional, kitchen table and chairs, flat top stove, glass coffee table and glass end table. Beverly helped us find items. We had the stove and glass coffee table and glass end table. The long part of the sectional was to long to fit in door. So October 16 we went back to the store to look for something else. Beverly found something else for us.
She helped us on good prices with the manager there.
She is an awesome staff member there. We keep in touch on how everything is going and when something arrives we waiting for.

Excellent experience when 3 purchasing appliances, a full living room set and a kitchen set from Bev Jones.
The appliances - Fridge and Stove were EXACTLY what she said they were in terms of size and function so no disappointment when implementing them in my kitchen.

I was a return customer for the living room set as Bev knows the products of sofa and chairs inside and out. She is extremely knowledgeable on the make, where it is made and is on point with delivery times of purchased products.

Subsequent to the above purchases, I was a return customer to Bev for a kitchen set and again, the product was exactly what I wanted and in the time frame I needed it for.

As of today, I will be a return customer for a new bed in the new year.

The delivery guys were exceptional- customer service plus!

The Brick is my place to shop thanks to Bev for a great shopping experience! I highly recommend for your shopping experience!

I would like to give Sukh the biggest shout out! She is so knowledgeable about the products the Brick has to sell.
After we placed our order well over a month from the date we wanted delivery, she kept in constant communication if our furniture/appliances were still on target for delivery. Because of things beyond her control, some pieces were pushed out for a month or two, but Sukh let us know weekly and offered other options. She responded promptly to phone calls and text messages. That is superb customer service! Sukh, they better appreciate you there

I recently purchased a sofa. The sofa had an issue that required a resolution. I called customer service regarding this matter and voiced my concern to Ronda the customer service representative. Excellent customer relations. Asked if we need any help but kept her distance. She let us discuss without hovering over us. Ended up buying mattress a couch and a lazy boy chair.
The only thing we didn't like is that we have to wait two months before delivery.

I don't recommend the Chelsea bed frame to anyone that is looking to purchase one. We had ours for less then a week and the rails snapped in the middle of the night. The frame offers minimal support for the bed. Not to mention, that the sales person sold us a mattress that is smaller then the frame itself so now there is a huge gap at the bottom of our bed where you can see directly into the 'storage' area. Not impressed with the price of this considering its a very poor quality.

We had a hiccup with our delivery on Saturday and the Manager Lionel was EXTREMELY helpful and punctual with finding a solution for us! I was impressed that we were able to find a compromise so quickly. He put us first and made us feel like our concerns were heard. It made receiving our new furniture a little less stressful! Now I can enjoy my new lovely king size bed!

Bought a dining set and a sofa & chair last month. Picked up the chair and dining set in a couple of days. They now say the sofa is not expected until early next month. That will be 8 WEEKS! I wouldn't mind if someone had warned me that it could be quite some time before the order came in. So instead they get to have my money for two months while I get nothing.

Welcoming staff all through out the store. I recently moved into a new house and sales rep ummer and manager dino helped me out a ton. I was looking for a sofa set to fit in my living room, and both of the employees individually helped me take the measurements and the dimension of the living room. They helped me get the perfect colour, and the exact sofa I was looking for. Customer service was unbelievable, and answered all my questions to the point. Fantastic experience only at the West edmonton "the brick". I highly recommend this place to all the new home buyers, and the old ones. They have all the design, options, and little to all the big items can't even think of. Thank you so much for your help guys:)

We had the great pleasure of dealing with Riz in the Furniture /Bedding Department. Being a salesman myself, I often wonder why some salespeople have to be high pressure sales. This was NOT the case with Riz, He listened to what we desired, suggested 4 different solutions to our dilemma and ensured that we were completely satisfied with our choice of product. No pressure, no circling around us for a decision as like a used car salesman would do. Completely professional and genuine. Hats off to the Brick on having this person being on your team. One word of warning, avoid buying furniture on a full stomach. You will always buy what you desire!

I’ve purchased items from the brick with delivery multiple times in the last year and none of my experiences have been as bad as this current one. I have ordered delivery and the lady at the west Edmonton location said they were only able to deliver before 5pm. I had advised that I work 6 days a week and I work till 5 and I could change my shift at work but I’d have to be gone by noon. She said that there is a 3 hour window and the driver would call the night before delivery. I had changed my shift at work so that I would be home for when my delivery should have been. I had waited for the call and never received it the night before delivery. Later that night I had checked my emails as one from the brick and I was shocked that my delivery was from 2: 45-5: 45. Since the brick was closed at that time I decided to wait until the following morning to do a follow up call and to be shocked again the bricks numbers were having system errors & that my call could not be connected. Very frustrated, I left it. As per the bricks delivery procedures they are suppose to call on the way to my place, I thought that’s perfect since I work fairly close to my place I’ll just rip home when they call to tell me they are on the way. I was shocked to get a phone call when the brick was at my place not allowing me time to get home. After talking to the delivery guy he said I would have to get my delivery rescheduled.
Beyond frustrating & irritating that the brick had not been accommodating & flexible for the delivery & the very poor procedures following the sale.
So finally a week after my table was suppose to be delivered I had received it delivered & to find my table was damaged. I had called the brick back & spoke to Rhonda the lady who I have been dealing with and the lady who continues to lie about the deliveries and the times that the delivery is. I had spoken to her on multiple occasions & every time she makes up another lie about when the delivers are suppose to happen. Anyways she goes to tell me that it can be delivered the replacement in 2 days, I said perfect do you know when the 3 hour window will be? She tells me I’m third on the list of drop offs. I received a call from the brick to confirm my delivery & the lady I had spoken to not RHONDA & said she does not know why I was told I’m third on the list when they deliver by postal code which I thought was weird also. Anyways the lack of communication with the brick I had missed my delivery. I had called back the brick & spoke to Rhonda & she said that my delivery would be on Saturday. I told her I was sick of dealing with them & I didn’t want to speak to them again & to have my delivery Saturday since I had taken the day off work again to be home to get my table. Rhonda told me it would be delivered Saturday.
I had missed a call from the brick today which is Friday & a voicemail telling me that my table won’t be delivered tomorrow that the truck was full & didn’t have room.
It’s now been 3 weeks without a table & without the brick being able to deliver it.

THIS IS UNEXECPTABLE THIS BRICK LOCSTION IS A JOKE & I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THE WEST EDMONTON lLOCATION AGAIN & THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DELIVERY REP RHONDA IS INCOMPETENT & ALL BRICK EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE RETRAINED

Service was a bit slow because our sales lady, she was new on the job but very kind so she can be forgiven for going to look for help. Haven't been to their new location yet but will soon.

Without a doubt, I highly recommend Byng as a salesman. I’ve visited this location a few times over the past couple months deciding on furniture for my living room and bedroom and he has never once come off as pushy or money hungry. Concerned about our budget, he worked within what we could spend and thanks to suggesting days where sales were even better than what was currently on, we were able to add a chest freezer onto our sale. Byng is a salesman completely focused on the customer experience I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to buy from him today. After a bad experience at the South Common location, him and his sales manager Dino went over and above. I can’t wait for my delivery!

Very bad after delivery customer service!
The selection was really great and good deals as well. The sales associate who helped us was very professional! Everything turned around after purchase. We bought furnitures for more than 8k and we were informed that certain items will come for delivery prebuilt. I made sure couple times regarding the same and they reassured that these items will come prebuilt as per the invoice. When I received the delivery couple days back, the delivery people said they will not do assembling, all they can do is to take the items back. Also the weird part is that THERE WAS A CHANGE ON THE INVOICE DELIVERY PEOPLE HAD on their end and it does not say it Will come prebuilt.
I called the customer support to see what we can do and the lady whom I spoke with first (if I remember correctly Miranda) was so rude and not helpful at all. She said she can’t do anything, neither the delivery people. I did mention that on my invoice it doesn’t have a R beside it (if there is a R, customer has to assemble ourselves), she said there is R on their invoice.
I called again and wanted to speak with a manager. Spoke with Amanda. Same situation! I guess they don’t like people calling back for help. When I asked her a question again for reassurance, she rudely replied “what did I say to you “. She said she will call me back after talking to the distributors. Called back after 2 hours and said it was a mistake on their end and will arrange a exchange pick up. This incident happened on 24th July. I am still waiting for a call back with the return pick up and delivery.
I called 2 times back already trying to reach a manager or the sales associate who helped us. Both times they said someone will call us back. Still waiting.
The one star I gave is only for their selections! Zero for customer service!

As a customer I don’t think I deserve to go through all this hassle. Very very much disappointed with the customer service.

WOW! Great service. We dealt with Aman and he was very knowledgeable on all products and gave amazing customer service. Definitely recommend going to see him. He helped us choose out the right mattresses while staying within our budget. We came in for only mattresses and ended up getting a new kitchen table and sectional couch as well as we got such a great bundle deal! Had a wonderful experience with Aman! Keep up the good work:) Will definitely go see him next time we need any furniture!

Was spending a day at the mall doing some shopping walked into the brick and found a great table and set of chairs for a great price. Byng was very helpful and upfront about all the details that i needed to know about and worked out a very fair deal would highly recommend

I had an amazing experience at the Brick West Edmonton Mall today. I went in looking for a mattress and a dishwasher, and Brandon N and Bev were both incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for friendly staff and people who know their stuff, definitely give them a shout. Dino, the manager on duty, was also really great to deal with. 5 star service from the WEM team!

Was at the grand opening on Sunday. Met this lovely lady named Dakota. What a great role model for the Brick. So far the pillow she sold me is working. Fingers crossed. Will follow her back to her store. Thanks Dakota.

Purchased a fridge, stove and microwave our salesperson Ali was most helpful and very personable. We would shop there again and would ask for Ali to assist us.

Great experience. Ask for Amrit Kaur, very knowledgeable and helpful sales associate. She helped us find what we were looking for and made the whole process really smooth. Definitely recommend!
