I was about to receive the delivery on oct16, but now they postponed the delivery to the next month.
The sales person isn’t even sure that we will get it by next month or not.

This has to do with the fleet team manager which are the people who book the trucks and deliver/ set up your furniture. This store told me that I would have a delivery date of Thursday a week from when purchased from the store. Tuesday evening comes and I’m getting all these messages and calls that they would be coming on the Wednesday between 8: 45 and 11: 45. I called them and they told me they don’t do delivery’s on Thursday, which is fine. So after scrambling to have my schedule flipped around so I could be there or have someone be there for that time frame on the Wednesday instead, on hardly any notice, I got it taken care of. Now Wednesday comes and no ones showed up at all during there alleged time frame. Many confused/angry calls were made including calls to the store, the fleet team, and the driver. I learned that there fleet team manager will over book all of there trucks on purpose. This means there time frames are actually coin flips if there going to be accurate. It’s luck of the draw due to the fleet team manager over booking trucks to unrealistic time frames. You might get your furniture during that time frame, you might get it later, you might not get it all. They don’t care. The worst part is I’m finding out through the grape vine that this is done on purpose. During these calls, I wanted some sort of explanation or some sort of hey sorry we wasted your day and didn’t show up, they took no responsibility. They told me there days run from 8-5 and it’s out of there control and they couldn’t offer me any assistance. If you walk into there store they follow you around trying to get your money, when it comes to receiving what you purchased, they don’t care they have your money and they know what are you doing to do about it? They need to be held accountable just as we’re accountable for paying them in full for there product.

The brick south Edmonton common is the worst brick shop have ever shopped in my life. I bought a dinning set there and the sales person abandoned me immediately i make my payment. I had a question in regards to the brick card payment but the customer service rep could not answer, she then called another rep who managed to give me a false response. Thank God, i called the Desjardins and i was able to get a response to my Question. The most annoying thing was that the delivery guys were so rude and they came into my house without a mask and there boots on despite the snow. The guy supposed to assemble my dinning but he refused and said i have to do it myself. Meanwhile, it was indicated in the receipt that they would assemble the dinning while i do the chair myself. I have called the brick customer service and they said the guy told them i had another dinning in my living room and that was why he did not assemble. That was a big lie, i was treated like a cheat with the delivery guy and the customer service manager Nath and another rep Savana. I Have called throughout the week to get someone to come and assemble but no way.

Don't trust those guy's promises for on time delivery or earlier,
After almost 2 months of waiting for sectional I called CS to check the status and they told me I have to wait another 3 months to HOPEFULLY deliver it!
The bad thing here is the feedback I got from Customer service agent that they won't provide an update if a delay in delivery occur.

BAD BAD BAD customer service. I have been waiting for my order for 3 months now, was promised a delivery within 2 months. The Worst part is that I was never informed about the delay. I had to call in multiple times after the promised delivery window had passed to get an estimate. I had to cancel my house warming party already because of this. I understand that delays from suppliers can happen but customer should never be promised a certain date if the promise can't be kept. If I had known that it can take upto 5 months to get a couch, would have definitely shopped somewhere else.

We were looking for a new sectional, and visited a number of furniture stores in Edmonton. We visited The Brick @ 1920-99 street in South Common. We met Tuleen there, who provided exceptional customer service to us. We decided to buy a sectional, ottoman, lamp and area rug from Tuleen just due to the level of service and attention to detail she provided to us. We will definitely visit Tuleen again for future purchases. Would highly recommend.

WORST customer service! They lied and refuse to go back and check phone records! They said my box springs and mattress mattress cover and pillows ALL were ready for delivery, when I called to reschedule delivery as our house flooded 2 days before delivery; they claim they don't have our bed! BEYOND upset! The front desk customer service ladies are awful and hang up when you ask for a manager! Absolutely 0/10 for this company!

Purchased a washer on August. Was told that it is going to be delivered on August 24th. Didn't hear from them. Tried to follow up a lot of times but was given no answer nor assurance that we're going to receive the washer. Last week of September, they called saying that it is going to be delivered. Tried to follow up but was told that it's going to be delivered on November again, without assurance. We all know that this pandemic is affecting everything from production to transporting the product and I do understand that. Professionalism is all we needed but they failed to do that. Customer service needs more training. Sales person should not make any promises if they cannot assure anything. Would not recommend shopping in this place.

Very disappointing customer service. We have Purchased Dining Table Set along with reading table last month. Firstly, the item that was shipped came with missing screws then later they changed it after waiting for a week. We have been told by the sales associate that the reading table doesn't require major assembly which is totally false. We need to pay extra to assemble that table. Also, when we are purchasing, we were told that the items that we purchased if the price go below than that the price could easily be adjusted. Went to the customer service center to request for price adjustment, it seems like customer service representative hardly knows anything, keep on asking all other representative what the policy regards to the price adjustment. Finally, after waiting for a while, finally they told they won’t be able to adjust price. Unnecessary wasted our time.
All in all very upsetting experience. Fortunate to get one star.

Purchased two dining chairs from here and was told they were in stock but that I would have to pick them up at their West end location the following week. I live an hour out of town and had to have someone drive out there to pick them up. Went for the scheduled pick-up time and was told they didn't have any and wouldn't get them in for another 3+ weeks. Tried to call customer support several times but they were incredibly rude and offered no help, told me they would absolutely not offer free shipping for the inconvenience. Customer service here is a joke and they do not care about the people buying from them.

This company is a joke. They are not truthful. They are very terrible company. They would tell you to go with their in house financing with flexiti without explaining the implications to you. I purchased something that is worth over $4000 and the next day, I decided I was not going to be needing some of the stuffs so I canceled some of my purchase and requested a refund which was done but the brick did not process my refund properly which eventually affected my minimum payment balance with flexiti. The brick charged $150 Administration fee for me to have a flexible payment of 36 months but apparently, it seemed like it’s a scam as flexiti is requesting more than the minimum payment.
Please don’t be deceived as the salesmen are only interested in their commission and don’t really care about how you pay back after they have collected their money. Don’t be a victim! Beware!

There’s no rating low enough to reflect just how poor the customer service is at this location. The sales representative stopped answering my calls to fix a mistake she had made. She charged me delivery for an item I carried in my own car! Got a call to come back to the store because I owe them money, which no one could explain why until I drove 30 minutes from the north end, just to get another run around at the store! Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had.

The delivery people are rude to the worst. They tend to bully you and you are in fix as you have already paid for the product!
This happened this time, this week

Last time a couple of months back, it happened with my friend. They delivered bad, mismatched products and accessories NOT ONCE BUT TWICE, delayed the redelivery for more than a month.

Surely, as the name suggests: BRICK HEAD COMBO

I will never put my foot in this store and you do it to your own peril. Good luck if you do!

Ordered and paid up front for an item this store didn’t even stock. They made me drive forty minutes into the city to pick up from their warehouse only to call me when I was five minutes away to tell me they sold it to someone else. A complete and total scam and a huge waste of my time. I dealt with Tushar who could not have been any less professional and couldn’t have cared less that he completely screwed me. I have no idea how this store is still operating and will be escalating this issue as high as possible. Shame on you.

Im sorry to edit this but wheb i got my new bed for my 16 year old son they droped off everything and we kinda thought that they were going to make it so when we found out we had to pay 100$ or more we just started building ourself when we almost completed the bed we didnt have anymore intructions so i would have to give this experience a pretty bad review also we didnt evan have enough equipment for the layout of the bed. Also it took like 3 weeks for it to be deliverd when i live 15mins away

I don't know how to start with this frustrating experience in this store.but here it goes, so on May 2021 we went to this store to ask some information regarding unclaimed warranty and they said we are eligible to use it on June 2021 (expiry month) As long as we purchase a minimum amount of $400.and there will be an in store credit of $234

We went back on June 9 went straight customer service ask the person who works there to confirm about our store credit coming from the unclaimed warranty, she was not very knowledgeable so she then called her supervisor (VICTORIA) and she then confirmed that we are getting store credit for $234.

We then proceeded to purchase a mattress worth $600 in total less the in store credit.everything went smooth.then they said it's back ordered and we had to wait for a month.then come July 05 brick called saying our bed is ready for pick up but we needed to pay $234 because they did not credit our unclaimed warranty. I did not proceed to pick up the mattress at their WAREHOUSE not even in the store where I made the purchase.went straight to the store to get it sorted out and they keep on saying that we were not eligible for the in store credit. Asked to speak to the store manager (RANDEEP SINGH) which is very rude and cannot handle customer complaints really well. HE EVEN INSISTED THAT WE MAKE A COMPLAINT ON THE BRICK WEBSITE. I was asking for a contact number for a person to call but he kept on saying he does not know which number to contact.

Why would I pay extra money if I already paid?

I am a customer of brick for many years. I have almost bought all the furnitures and appliances from them.everything was okay with them untill I encountered a problem. I ordered a washer from the brick and they were supposed to bring the new washer and pick up the old one. Unfortunately I didn't have the appropriate tool to detach hoses and I thought that detaching the hoses will only take five minutes and I Can burrow the installer tool and detach the hoses. When they came in they brought the new washer and I asked them to burrow me their wrench to detach the hoses when they are moving in the new washer.they refused to burrow me the wrench and left the old washer in my place. This is a fact that every person that works in a place is representative of the same company in customer eyes.and I didn't expect that they behave like that with a loyal customer. So. If you are thinking of buying something from the brick forget about customer service. ️

Went shopping for sofas. They have very pleasant staff. They don’t have the nicest furniture. The supposed sale isn’t really a sale.
I’d imagine you want three major things in a piece of furniture. You want good looks, quality and fair pricing. Couldn’t find all three in one item during my visit.
They do have some interesting designs. I have to in honesty give them that.

If I could give negative stars, I would! How can one be a "proud" owner or employee of this money stealing store? !?
They are all thieves who steal from customers and then disrespect and treat them poorly when they ask for what they actually paid for!
I've been waiting since May 2018 for my sofa to be fixed which is under warranty. (Paid over $2,000 for the furniture and full warranty)
Each time I call they give me the runaround and say someone will call you back, but OF COURSE, no one does! This store deserves to go out of business for their treatment of customers and business ethics!

I hope people read this and decide to save themselves the stress and drama. I will also be making a formal complaint if my issue is not resolved by end of Jan.

We bought a sofa set on finance and the Indian guy who was dealing with us didn’t explain properly and added an extra insurance which is worst. I called the customer service and they explained me the insurance thing.now I have to pay double of my amount owe. So be careful-before signing anything and read their deals carefully.

On another note they are extremely pushy and pretty rude unless your going to buy right there and then. We had one of their employees following two steps behind my wife and I the entire time we browsed. I ended up buying from Leon's on the north side and am so thankful that I did after getting an unwanted credit card from the Brick in the mail.

Tried to buy a couch but I couldn’t get anyone to give me the time of day. Asked a few managers standing around talking if they could help me and they said no but they would page someone. They didn’t do anything but continue to talk about they’re christmas. Found one lady to give me 10 seconds of her time, she brought me to a couch I asked if they offer delivery and she said 89$ and then walked away as I was willing to buy the 999$ couch right there on the spot but I guess I wasn’t worth her time. In the end it worked out as Leon’s had better pricing and they offer FREE delivery! For 599 I got a really nice recliner with free delivery and great customer service. I would recommend trying Leon’s first before coming here to save time and money!

Friend bought washer and dryer with extended warranty. Turns out washer leaves detergent residue in machine, spin cycle doesn't get rid of the water. Dryer feels like it's coming off the washer (they are stacked together). Phoned customer service and appliance service several times, don't sound like they want to help at all. Even got hung up over the phone. Used the machine less than 2 times.

Terrible customer service, EMILY DYK is one of the managers and she seemed to enjoy the fact that she was not willing to help us out.

Spend thousands of dollars to be told “oh you were supposed to read the fine print on the back of your receipt before walking out of the store. ”

Sales team will tell you lies just to make a sale.

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a store. The entire time the employees were fighting with each other over who would take the sale and make the commission. I purchased a mattress and bed frame and was promised delivery the following week. After not responding to my emails and my phone calls for three days in an attempt to find out about the status of the delivery, they called back and told me it would not be arriving for two more additional weeks. I am currently trying to be refunded and it is also a hassle. I cannot urge you enough to not shop at this Brick. I'm upset I have to put one star on this to upload it because they do not deserve it.

Bought this standing lamp last Nov2018. It fell by itself during the night and i took a photo on it and found out the rod of the lamp was poorly done. For sure quality has the issue and i called Brick and they said that there was no warranty and can't replaced. What a heck of a company Brick doing to us consumers. This is unacceptable and company has to resolve the issue.

The lady name Kathy who was helping us didnt know what she was doing. Blaming the company, system used to do the invoice and lack of professionalism shown. She took 2hrs to do our invoice for the purchase. She charged us for delivery and promised us a specific date but when the shipment didnt arrived we called her to inquire about it and she told us we were suppose to pick up the order" Are you kidding me". My wife was not keeping well and we requested for water as she was feeling dizzy this lady didnt have the courtesy to help us. I tried to finding myself but the store didnt had any glasses. It was black friday your expecting 1000 people to visit our store and you dont have water glasses for customers. Seriously one of the worst experience so far. We are still waiting for our delivery and the lady is still not able to figure out our order date and time. For such a belmis the store neither have the odesity to call us and apologize for the inconvenience caused. I wish we could rate them negative.

Awful shopping experience. Showroom is not organized that well. There's tonnes of furniture everywhere, and while there are specific sections for say appliances or mattresses, most of the furniture is just spread out all over the place and it's overwhelming looking for stuff. There was also a salesman who I told I was just going to browse and I didn't want to waste his time but he kept following me around. Even at one point he said that he was being very frank and that he was working for commission and I told him that I understood so he really doesn't need to follow me around and that I'm not going to be purchasing anything today anyway. He was very pushy and was raising his voice to me telling me that he could get me the best price. I know it's his job to sell furniture but I made it very clear to him early on that I did not want his help. I would rather purchase furniture from another store just to avoid awkward confrontations like this.

I have never had such a bad experience with a company before. I am not one to write reviews and complain but I couldn’t let this slide. The brick south side location doesn’t even deserve one star. I bought a set of couches 3 years ago with full warranty. I have had nothing but problems with the fabric tearing on my couch. Up until this last time we have had no issues with our warranty replacing the tear on our couch. Being that they have “ improved” the fabric and they don’t make ours anymore. Our warranty has been pretty much been voided. It should not be our issue that the factory disscontiuned our fabric. After dealing with a very rude Gabe the operations supervisor. I am left with a tear in my couch and nothing that can be done.
Officially will never buy or deal with the brick again. I strongly hope no one else has to go through this like I did.

NEVER EVER BUY FROM HERE.nothing but dirty sales tricks and games, I am a salesperson in the car industry myself and can't believe the level of games they play here compared to my store. Never buy the warranty, and always check over your invoice line by line, watch out for "Free" extended warranties and other items, as they are not "free" you pay for them on the invoice. Customer service after the fact is also absolutely terrible, and good luck getting any of your items on time even if you order 3+ months in advance.

I would like to file a complaint in regards to rude and disrespectful manager that works at south edmonton common Brick. His name is DINO GANIC! My parents were there planning to purchase a furniture set. One of the sales people told my parents they can have the 3 piece set for $3900. When he went to confirm the quote with this manager, he came and was extremely rude to my parents with major arrogant attitude. He said they can have the set for $3950. So my dad mentioned, well let’s meet half way and get it for $3925. He rudely replied NO got up and left my parents. They felt very mistreated and left with no comment. They were ready to purchase that set but due to his attitude, will not.

I had an entire bedroom set picked out, and told the salesperson I would need it delivered. The sales person advised me that they only deliver to my area on one day of the week, and there was a $60 charge for delivery. I told the sales person that I was paying for the entire set in cash, and that they should waive the fee. The salesperson refused. I stood in the store and ordered it on Amazon and saved about 10%. The bedroom set was delivered 2 days later for free by Amazon.
I'll never return to the Brick.

Found a pillow I like, suddenly the saleswoman who was willing to walk me back to the washroom now just points me to customer service so I guess she couldn’t ring me up? I get back there and the person trying to ring me through needs to help another salesperson so a different sales guy logs into a new computer and is currently off looking for a second pillow of the same colour for me (don’t know if I grabbed the display or something—it has a tag on it). We’re sitting at 10 minutes in to buy a cushion. I don’t like the brick because of pushy sales people anyways but this is ridiculous. He comes back to tell me it’d be a final sale.for a cushion I need to take home and compare to my couch to see if it works. Won’t be returning here for anything in the future.
