Devon was really helpful when we went in to just look and see for our new appliance. As soon as we picked one he was very accommodating with delivery and service that the company offered. He was also very understanding with our situation and the fact that we have children so choosing an appliance or any kind of furniture that needs to withstand playing. Bad customer service. They are unwilling to help even after you have record of a pretty expensive purchases from them such as a bedroom set, mattresses etc. They do not care if you leave their store upset promising to leave bad review about them.

We went in to get a sectional and the sales lady said that this couch would be $3200. Why does your tags say 60% off this price if that’s not the case. Forsure lost a sale today, we were not pleased as this was the couch we had been wanting for a long time.

Highly recommend purchasing a mattress through the brick. I have bought 4 mattresses, TV and couch set from the brick. There warranty is tremendous. Financing through the brick is super easy. I found the salesmen are very knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. I'll definitely be back for future purchases.

We bought furniture from this store in May 2022, we sent back one item and they told us Flexiti would be refunding us. 10 months later we find out that The Brick lied to us, still has our money and we've been paying interest BECAUSE of that.
Super sweet. Killer store. Go to Sims furniture or literally anywhere else.

Great store, very big. Tablets allow sales reps to see inventory on demand and figure out prices easily on the floor. Process for purchasing items was a bit slow however.

The product that we purchased was very good and easy to put together. The delivery method was right on time and we were notified when it was in for pick up. The service at the store left a little to be desired. Our sale person was rushing us to complete the sale and the paperwork, yes she did say her ipad was dying but not an excuse to rush. When we looked at the paperwork that came by email, we were never advised that the sale was final and that we had 48 hours after delivery to inspect and if anything was damaged then we were to send pictures to the Brick but to return the item. Disclosure of facts and items is a key thing to repeat sales and integrity.

Received excellent customer service from Brock. Recently I purchased a queen size bed at the Red Deer location and needed to have it shipped from the distribution centre to my new home down east. For a number of reasons, the shipping and coordination efforts between the provinces was not able to be completed despite Brock’s best efforts to try to have the furniture waiting there for my arrival. Brock worked tirelessly for 3 days trying to coordinate everything. At the end of the day when it was determined that they could not assist me, Brock cheerfully refunded my money, assuring me all along that I would be able to cancel the sale if they could not meet my request. Because of Brock, I will not hesitate to shop again at the Brick and I am a customer for life.

We came to the Brick looking for a new washer and dryer set. Our sales associate, Joyce was quite helpful, answered out questions and gave us the time and space we needed to discuss a larger purchase. We were able to take the set home with us that day and all the staff including warehouse were friendly and helpful.
Joyce was also able to work with us in our budget and offered a discount on the set.

Ryan at the brick in red deer was a wicked salesman to deal with. He wasn’t like most salesmen always trying to push you to get more than you actually need. We told him what we wanted and he helped us with the understanding of the other items we would need to go along with it. Then he patiently waited as my wife and I shopped around for the next hour and a half trying to pick out a new coffee table. He was always close by to answer any of our questions and bonus points for him helping me convince my wife that I had picked out the best one. Thanks again for the great experience. I will definitely go back when we need some other things for the house!

Our experience with Danielle Girard today is one of the best customer experiences we have ever had. We went to purchase a particular microwave for our existing home and Danielle was knowledgeable, pleasant, upbeat, and exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only did she provide us with the info we needed for our purchase but she also offered & explained all delivery, warranty & installation options. If you are planning to get flexiti 0 % interest payment program, make sure to ask not to add payment protection. They didn’t ask me if I wanted it, they just added it. Came to realize it when I saw the monthly bill. That costs around 50 bucks for me monthly. I had to call flexiti and then insurance company to cancel it. Why? Not going there anymore.

I will never purchase anything from here ever again.
We bought a sectional in April 2020 and purchased the 3 year extended warranty on it and DANIELLE our sales girl told us what would be covered on it and literally pointed it all out on a plaque and that the whole couch would be replaced if needed. I emailed customer service to make a claim as we are trying to get our couch replaced as it started sagging and stretching in the cushions and fraying not long after we bought it and she told me that cushions are not covered after one year? Then why did we purchase warranty? Nothing Danielle said that would be covered is covered under the warranty. Very money hungry, lying sales lady. $179.00 on 3 year warranty and it was a total waste of money. $1700.00 on a couch and the chaise has been totally warn after one year. They don't cover pet damage but they cover cigarette burns and nail polish stains and only replace the portion of the couch that has been damaged. Joke of a company.

I have purchased a few items in the past with no problems or issues but when I purchased my Bosch dishwasher and it broke down prior to extended warranty expiry, I called in and spoke with a lady named Maryetta. I cannot speak highly enough about the absolutely FANTASTIC experience I had with her When I needed to find out some additional information with regards to making an extended warranty claim. She was EXTREMELY professional and more than helpful. Hopefully her supervisor appreciates a great employee like herself.

I had a horrible experience the first time I spent money there. Promised myself I would never go back. They did have a good deal on deep freezes so I caved and bought one from there.
First when I got there it was very difficult to find someone to help me. Then once I purchased it they asked if I wanted to donate to the children's hospital and they would match, I agreed to $10.00 then their manager tried pushing me to buy a teddy bear as well I said no thank you just the $10.00. I told them I donate money to this organization every year with my business already. Then the young lady said I should donate $50.00 since I own my own business. I couldn't believe that she'd comment something like that and I couldn't believe how pushy they were being.
I really didn't appreciate their customer service. I won't be going back for anything.

DO NOT get the warranty.

Do not purchase the warranty, after 18 months of use, my leather sofa failed on the piping.with the warranty the brick sent technicians which claimed it be wear and tear, when it was cracking linear and a fabrication flaw. I wont be shopping at the brick anytime going forward. The repair made to some stitching left a permanent divot in the cushion.

Be aware that the warranty doesn't cash settle, and only pays in store credit.it is likely that your Credit Card insurance has better coverage than the brick, and it will not cover if you buy the added warranty.

The warranty customer service was hard to get a response from and generally not not easy to deal with.

In short, if you choose to shop here DO NOT get the warranty.

I have just recently had a very good experience with Danielle from the Red Deer location, And I wanted to to take a quick minute and express my gratitude to her. Not only did she help me decide on the items I was shopping for she had the patience of a Saint. I am only home for a short period of time so I do most of my shopping on line and not only did she explain my choices to me she gave honest recommendation's as I requested. I guess in short I've never been more satisfied with a sales representative who went the extra mile. And explained to me to the last detail of everything I asked. Although I did hear a audible eye roll I could not blame her I'm not the smartest duck on the pond. I truley hope that she is available when I go to purchase more furniture in the future you are a rock star Danielle. Thanks again for all your time and patience.

Went to the Brick (Red Deer) on Monday October 25th to inquire about a bed that I saw on sale, online. An associate helped us by looking the bed up online as he said it wouldn’t be on the floor. He told us if we ordered the bed, it MAY be here by January but no guarantee as it would be shipped from overseas. He continued by trying to talk to us into buying a $400 metal bed frame (just a frame, not a complete bed). Needless to say, we left. Went to the Brick Outlet afterwards and …. There’s the bed I’m looking for. Proceed to the counter, where I met Jennifer, asked her about the bed. She did some searching on her computer, said they were in stock in Edmonton and she could get one to Ponoka on Friday. Perfect! I have no problem going there to pick it up - at least I’m getting the bed I wanted. Thank you Jennifer!
So my issue is…. Why wouldn’t the first associate know to look if it was in stock anywhere else or even perhaps suggesting the Outlet? (instead of trying to sell me a metal frame)

We went to buy new appliances because our fridge had stopped working. We decided to buy a fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer. We picked from what they said they had in stock. So we pay for them to deliver and take our old stuff away. They let us know it will be delivered next Thursday. Next Thursday I call and ask if they will be delivering and they say we haven’t paid yet and so it will not be getting delivered. We paid in store I tell them they say they have to call back. Then they say they don’t have the stuff in stock and it won’t be in for over a month. Then they say they found it and our stuff will be delivered on Saturday. They call us back and let us know they were mistaken again and our dishwasher won’t be delivered. I ask them to just figure it out and make it happen. So on Saturday they bring our stuff and they have the wrong fridge. Also they say that they won’t take our old washer and dryer because it hasn’t been disconnected even though they said they would take care of all of it. So we have to pay someone else to come and disconnect and drain so that they can take it even though it should have been there problem. We decide to keep this fridge because we can’t live without a fridge and they have us a small credit. A couple days later using the dryer and they forgot to hook it up including water for the steam and they didn’t leave the drying rack that came with it. Called the brick to let them know and the lady said she would talk to the manager and see what they could do. Have not heard back so long story short do not deal with the brick because they will just mess around make mistakes and then not call you back in the end to deal with their problem.
Update sent them another message like they had suggested and not even a reply they make it seem like they care but they don’t what a joke of a company.

BUYER BEWARE!
At the beginning of the month my in-laws bought us a new washer and dryer from The Brick Red Deer. The only date we were available for the delivery was Saturday, July 17th. About a week before, we get a phone call asking if they would like us to deliver 1/2 our order early. We said no, deliver both on the original requested day, AKA when we were available. Well, July 17th rolls around and we haven't heard from them. Give them a call and low-and-behold THEY SOLD OUR PAID FOR WASHER. They said they would be delivering both when they get new stock - at an undisclosed date "at the end of the month". THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE! Whats next? End of the month rolls around but oops they sold the dryer? No, this is bs. No compensation offered, nothing.
Do yourself a favor and buy from somewhere else.

We dealt with Rachel & Joyce at the main location in Red Deer. They were both fantastic and easy to deal with, not like most furniture salespeople. Rachel spent a lot of time with us explaining our potential purchases and made sure to find us the best pricing possible. Joyce was extremely helpful in finding a way to make our financing work.

The red tent sale drew me to The Brick for a new mattress. We were met in the tent by a very informative representative who said someone inside could help us. Ken, was fantastic to deal with. He introduced himself, let us shop around and gave me a killer deal! Ken was very kind, funny and easy to deal with. Highly recommend him for any furniture needs you may have!

Went in browsing for some new Sofa's and met Rachel as we were walking in. Found a few that we liked but needed to hit a few more stores to see if we could find anything else we liked more. We didn't and also didn't find anybody as helpful and friendly as Rachel! Went back later in the day and purchased from her. A wonderful shopping experience from start to finish.

I purchased a Carter Sectional which was on sale last month, I paid for delivery and was told they would assemble it as well. The delivery men just dropped it off in my livingroom and left, said it was easy to assemble, I asked my neighbours to help me, it took over an hour to put it together.
It is the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on, I phoned the Red Deer store and asked if I could return it for another sofa and was told they don't take returns. They take returns on a mattress that people have slept on for over 30 days, but don't take returns on a sofa. I will never shop there again and I'm willing to sell it for $500 half of what it is worth, just so I can look for another sofa. Customer Service at the brick is terrible.

Danielle was wonderful! Our fridge broke and we couldn’t find a solution since most websites that we looked at said fridges were out of stock. We came here and she took the time and was patient to take us though all our options. We got exactly what we wanted! Her energy and friendliness was amazing!

I have spent over $8000 in this store in two purchases, they will be my last. My last trip in, I spend $6700 in appliances. I was lied to in the availability of products, and they all came late. The price match policy is a big lie. I found my applinces for a cheaper price at their own store, but they would not correct it because I got a deal on different appliance instead. The assistant manager was horrible to deal with as well, and appears to lack any customer service skills. The sales consultant wouldn't return emails or phone calls during this whole process. The delivery guys scratched my wall, and my brand new fridge trying to get it up the stairs. Long story short, once this company has your money, they don't care about you anything else. Please learn from my mistake, and take your hard earned money elsewhere.
