It was my last minute walk-in at heritage location and shopping for Black Friday sale before their closing time. I was lucky to get the help from a super friendly associate named Rebe. She went above and beyond to help me double check the dimensions of furniture and also make sure I would get the on sale prices. She is awesome! Thanks Rebe!

The customer service that we experienced here was terrible. The Indian lady pretending to be the manager, we knew that she was not was very rude. We were just asking about the delivery options politely and she was like raising her voice and repeatedly saying "LISTEN IM OnLy going to repeat this once". Were shocked and dismayed about the words came out here mouth. She was rolling her eyes too. We felt that were being discriminated when the moment she saw us that we are Asians like her lol. Behind us was a white couple. We watched her and she was very sweet and smiling. But us, she was not in agood mood.we wanted to buy more furnitures but not anymore. We won't recommend this store to our friends and relatives.

Was over at the ikea and decided the quality was not worth the price. Went over to the Brick and Beth Healey immediately showed me some quality desks for the same price. 3 hours at ikea vs 15 minutes at the Brick. To me the choice is obvious. I got it in a nice little box to build myself, super convenient and fit right in my car. Thanks again Beth!

Thought I would share a buyer beware of how TheBrick (aka LFL Group) handles their warranties.
My parents bought a Samsung Washer and Dryer from this Brick location with an additional 4Year Warranty only to have the Dryer fail within 1-1/2 years. They contacted TheBrick which directed them to King&State (aka LFL Group) to submit a claim. Two weeks after submitting the claim a Repair Contractor by the name of ApplianceTechY2K was sent out to review the issue with the Dryer. Without even opening the unit they advised that parts had to be ordered.
My parents who very patiently waited for weeks and contacted ApplianceTechY2K whom advised that only 1 of the 3 parts have arrived. They contacted me to see if I could assist.
I did some research and discovered that TheBrick, King&State and TransGlobal (whom supplies the parts) are all under Leon's LFL Group. All the companies websites do not have any addresses or direct phone lines that I could easily reference to follow up the Warranty Claim. Only phone numbers or online email "contact us" submissions.
Most of the submissions deferred me back to King&State (whose website domain happens to be held out of Turks and Caicos). I spent many minutes on hold ultimately to be told 1) either the parts are with the repair contractor, for which the repair contractor refuted or 2) hungup on.
Also, ApplianceTechY2K many times did not answer their phone or emails when inquiring. A quick search of the Better Business Bureau show this company as their accreditation being revoked.
Together with my parents we have made multiple call, emails, online chats only to be told that they are "escalating" the issue. Having been through this process with them I would never buy from TheBrick or Leon, and especially the Warranty these companies offer.
Update 1:
The delays continue. Now TransGlobal has only sent 3 out of 4 rollers according the ApplianceTechY2K. No estimated time of arrival given for the last roller - only that it is being "direct shipped".
Update 2:
Received call from King&State and they provided no more information than previously reported by ApplianceTechY2K. They stated the process does not allow to request ETA, tracking number or departure location for 24 to 48 hours.

Good selection and decent prices but it does feel like you are being stalked every time you are in here. We ended up buying a lot of stuff but it was not easy to just browse as there was someone always following us around the store trying to sell us everything. We just wanted to look at things without getting a sales pitch on every piece of furniture we walked near. If the sales people just let us be for more than 1 minute to browse, it would have been a much better experience. It is very hard to make a decision with someone standing right next to you at all times or following you around. Lighten up on the stalking and it would be much better.

I came into the show room so unhappy following details from my previous purchase but Monica walked through these concerns with me providing context into why my orders maybe delayed, she found suitable alternatives to meet my needs. Be-a-ware, of Brick corporate delivery crew...

The whole neighbourhood gets to know when a neighbour has had delivery of product (s)!

The following after the Brick corporate delivery truck left the neighbourhood;

One item delivered being a range as we collected a complete manufacturers 'be careful of tipping' info sheet with half foot of light beige tape still attached, under another neighbours' evergreen tree.

Chunks of styrofoam we spotted down the street in gutters either side. Metre long beige and blue manufacturers packing tapes doing the same. Some of it catching in the bottom of evergreen trees and even a couple doors down halfway up the driveway in the border hedge on the other side of the parked vehicle.
We collected about a dozen chunks of the styro' and at least 3 strips of packing tape, subsequently taken back to neighbour of origin ;-)
The 'saran wrap' that previously wrapped at least one appliance rolled up into a roughly half metre bundle, got as far as the gutter in front of neighbours place one 'door' away, before being picked up by another neighbour and taken back to the neighbours front porch of whom had the Brick corporate delivery!

Maybe find more of it further down the street, the next day during a daily stroll.

The crew drove away right by their litter, along our street!

I came to the brick at Deerfoot meadows.james Campbell was very accommodating and I bought new bedroom furniture from him.he is very friendly and I came back on Sunday to buy a bed frame and no one would serve me.i just about to leave when James came to help me with another purchase. Hes the best There was 2salesman chatting to each other and they looked at me and turned the other way If it wasn't for James I would never come back. Now I will He's respectful and he doesn't judge people I will recommend him to my friends.

This is my first time to have a bad experience at The Brick! We just went there to buy a dining sets, and they said they’re going to have stock at the end of November. So we just wait to call me back. After a few weeks, they called me that they have stock, so we just went there to pick it up and pay the difference! We went to warehouse! To pick it up the dining sets. Unfortunately, the dining table doesn’t have screws! We called the Customer Service, many times to resolve this problem and ensure to give the screws back! But I haven’t receive any good news from them! I waited for too long, but still nothing happen! What a waste of time! Just please, before you give the order to your customer, make sure to checked it carefully!

Terrible experience! I have shop in the brick for various years now and I have purchase a considerable amount of money from them until now.

I purchased a dresser with them and picked up, dresser was broken as soon as I take it out of the box. It took them 3 times and a bunch of weeks to properly replace it. Made me pay for delivery and did not even had the courtesy to apologies or offer any kind of solution. They kept offering me $100 discount to keep a $1,100 broken dresser, overall very bad experience. Will definitely move to Ashley going forward!

Not high quality and tey don't accomodate returns. These big name stores are not worth it. That is why people stick to Ikea and those other stores. At least you can exchange the cheapness. For the huge delivery cost the brick is absoluetly a one time purcahse for me. Never again! Also the BM I spoke with at Deerfoot super rude and unprofessional!

Can I give no stars? My advice if you’re looking for furniture, don’t buy it at The Brick. Impossible to know when your stuff will arrive and they are not forthcoming with the proper information. We’ve been waiting several months and now we’ve decided to shop elsewhere. Now I’m waiting for my refund. Communication is terrible, no honesty, no transparency, and it doesn’t seem as though they trust or train their front of house staff to be thorough with the clients. My lesson is to buy local from now on.

5 star Excellent customer service from Robert at hertiage meadows yyc: no pressure sales and super informative. Wish we didn't have to wait 4 months for our product to come in, but that's just the way the world works right now, and I'm not sure that's The Brick's fault. Overall really thankful and excited for our furniture.

I ordered August 6th from The brick deerfoot meadows majority of my furniture as I am moving to my new home. I stipulated that I need all the furnitures on August 27th as I will be throwing out my old ones and if an item is not available that day please don't include it.

Fair enough they delivered it on the said date but with all my purchases from sectional, coffee table, console, patio set and the 3 set of bed frames, side table and dresser with mirrors I was missing 2 bed frames and 2 side table with the other side table given to me broken.

I followed it up with them multiple times and I told them I did stipulate that I needed it all that day but the customer service response talked to the associate who you dealt with seriously? ! I even told them since the items Im missing will be delivered on November I don't want it! I will return personally all the dresser mirrors since its no use and I don't want anymore the 2 bed sets Im missing. They told me they will call me back its been how many days now still no response!

I was so frustrated, unhappy and dissatisfied of how they tricked and duped you with all their deals and they don't even have the inventory even if it says on the day of purchase that they have it! And the way they respond to your concerns is that you will feel that it was your fault these things happen! Seriously? ! We purchased those stuff because we need it! I do understand the need for sales but please be mindful of your customers comfort, sincerity and time.

Below is the picture of the broken side table they gave me. If you know it's damage why sent it? ! Even with this one, I emailed and called them on the day of delivery, no response or action on it.

If given the chance, I would have choosen differently to be honest.

Horrible experience at the brick store on heritage drive Calgary location. We went with a query regarding exchanging/returning our broken dining table which we had recently purchased from this store and most of the staff were not able to assist us. Some sales people were not interested in showing us new dining table sets and were just chatting among themselves even after i approached them with a question. Very horrible service and would not recommend this store.

Beth should be more informed of the offers that she can make before “finalizing” a sale. Originally told me 18 months no interest but was not authorized for it. Then told me 36 months with interest was the only offer available. Wasting hours of my time after being on hold with their creditors. Also made little effort to build rapport until after she thought a sale was made. For someone who’s been selling mattresses for 20 years I would expect a little more professionalism and courtesy. Also I now need to spend MORE of my time to cancel the card they required me to apply for in order to make said purchase. Embarrassing.

I placed my order for 2sofa and 2 sofa chairs and a king bed frame on may 2021. And i payed $8000 for all. When ordering they said you will receive them by July but i received a phone call that your order is not ready and you will receive them in next month but in august again they called me to postpone my delivery time. So again this story repeated in September but they just gave me 2 chairs and at the end of September they called me that my order is canceled totally. They rudely asked me to cancel my order while they took whole money from me last 5 months. I leave brick for ever and dont recommend anyone to purchase from them. No customer service at all

The sales person Randy we met at Brick helped us get the furniture that we wanted. He gave us all insights about the furniture and we love it now. He has very good knowledge and is very patient and cordial. His manager, Mark was very kind and professional too. Overall we had a very good experience at Brick.

Worst store ever, I bought a freezer and some other furniture, I was told the freezer would arrive in 4 weeks, gave them a call recently a and the lady who picked was so rude, she was yelling at me when I was asking some questions politely and said if you need to do anything come to the store, I have no information for you. Every call to this store is met with such rudeness, customer service is bad, two times (or is it 3) their truck has had a problem on the day of delivery and so seems delivery is never certain. Please save yourself the stress and go spend your money elsewhere. Please note this review is for the brick heritage meadows Calgary, horrible place

We were helped by Randy at Brick. He was extremely helpful in understanding our requirement. He helped us pick out furniture as well as the mattress. Also Mark, who is the manager gave us a very good price and understood the urgent need for the mattress and got it delivered in two days. I highly recommend reaching out to Randy and Mark at this location for any help.

This is the first time that we visit this store and we have an outstanding experience! We would like to thank Agata for the excellent service she provided us. She is knowledgeable, helpful, calm, incredible, and carrying a big heart for my 4 year old son. She showed a lot of patience and care for my son while we are looking around to buy mattress and sofa and take note we didn't feel any sales pressure at all. I highly recommend Agata as your sales agent if you want to experience the outstanding service in The Brick. We really love our mattress and sofa! We would also like to say thank you to all the people who are responsible with deliveries. We received our order earlier than expected. We will definitely come back in that location and I hope Agata is still there by that time. Again, Thank so much

Found a coffee table that I have been taking a look at and Tariq was able to help me find it, and cheaper than online! It will be a great addition to our space. It was a bit noisy and the furniture is a bit crowded because they are currently doing store reno's.

I had the worst experience ever with the Brick… not only you won’t get what you pay for but also they have the worst customer service you have faced ever… really irresponsible and not responsive… we received our dining table a day ago and we were emailing back and forth to tell them the problem and after a couple of emails they didn’t answer any more… We called them a day after and no one took the responsibility they just said there is no physical problem, but it is not what we saw! They also get you in trouble about the delivery time! They promised us our living room furniture to be delivered in 22 days and as days passed, they extended it to 5 months later! I really don’t recommend this company. Watch for your time, peace of mind and money…

Didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything like at some other furniture stores and the whole experience was very comfortable. Would recommend

Our experience at this location was a 5 out of 5 thanks to the kind gentleman who helped us out (Sales Associate: Zamaan). We were shopping for a mattress and Zamaan was very well educated on the different mattresses at the brick. He really paid attention to our needs and helped us pick the perfect mattress. He also paired us with pillows that have really made a big difference in our sleep. He was honest and approachable, not pushy, listened, and was honest in telling us what we didn’t need. I’m glad we found him. His “beducation” was great and since receiving our mattress we have been sleeping GREAT! I’m always hesitant on going into these stores because it often feels like we’re in Shark waters waiting for a salesman to trick us into a purchase we wouldn’t be happy with just so they can get a good commission. This wasn’t the case here. In fact, upon leaving, there was another customer who came to see Zamaan who was a returning customer. They also had a great experience with Zamaan and said we were in good hands. That was good to hear. We felt the same. Thanks for not being pushy and hearing us out. We’re glad you listened because we are SO HAPPY with our purchase. Thanks for your patience.
