The Brick

I came in with my family, immediately was rushed up on by a woman who works here, I explained I was just browsing mattresses/frames.she immediately brought me to the most expensive mattresses you have in stock and didn't give much help or information. She kept hovering over us every 5 minutes asking if I found what I needed yet, and I was just trying to get a feel of the options. She then walked over to a group of coworkers I assume and they'd talk and then very obviously stare over at us like they were talking about us. Made my family feel uncomfortable/unwelcome, and we ended up leaving with little information and without really trying anything out, and went over to Sleep Country.

We had a very positive experience. We found what we were looking for, for a reasonable price. The sales representative, Beverly, was very professional, polite and helpful.

Beverly in Lloydminster was kind, helpful and informative. I know we are going to love our new bed.

She’s a great store Representative and she’s very good when it comes in service. I’m very satisfied and her name is Tara

We have been dealing with a few people here. But Tara stands out. We had some warranty stuff with our couches and table and chairs. They were patient with us while we made a decision on what we would like to do. Tara was easy to communicate and work with, she made sure we were well taken care of. She helped us get our new couches and fridge.

Tara has always went above and beyond with all my needs. Always a great, positive experience when dealing with her and she’s always ready to help with the process from picking things out to delivery and clearing up any issues.

Good service however, do not buy any warranty as I at this point would deem it useless. I called about 3-4 weeks ago for our washing machine (not even a year old) having issues and the call volumes were “too high” so I had to leave a call back number.

Three days later I finally got a callback which is great, being 6: 30am on a Saturday.not so great. They gave me an “authorization code” and said someone would be in contact with me in 3-4 business days to set an appointment for someone to come fix it. I still haven’t heard back and that was 2-3 weeks ago.

I’ve called the brick here in Lloydminster and they direct me to the warranty line and won’t listen to my concerns at all.

I am saddened to say that after hauling my laundry back and forth from family’s houses, I will most likely never be shopping with the brick again.

I do not stand behind the brick because they don't stand behind their product and warranty.

Terry C was very helpful. He answered every question we asked him. Gave us great options, and did not push us. Would purchase from him again.

We had a fantastic experience. Everything was very affordable and Terry did a great job explaining details about the product as well as the warranties. This was great as we are new to buying brand new furniture. He made the process easy and fun. Definitely plan on buying more from here and from Terry! Great Job!

Have had a great experience at this location for a couple purchases over the years. Most recently I purchased a sectional in September. Shahid was able to assist me with my purchase and was able to work with me on price. The couch came in and had some damage on some of the pieces. This was not a problem as they took them back and re order (This was a pain but not the fault of the location). I would highly recommend purchasing furniture from this location.

The staff are great. They don't swarm you like a typical Brick and give you some time and space to shop. Very low pressure and great inventory. I only wish they had space to carry inventory. Everything has to be ordered in and it's sometimes just as easy to order on Amazon and get it in the same time.

Such a lack of communication. I have purchased couches. And trying to get the warranty work done I keep getting the run around 6+ weeks and still waiting for them to get their act together. How long does it really take

Bought my new Samsung washer and dryer and they removed my old and hooked up my new one and that's good service.

Great service. We ordered a box spring from them and it arrived with a very small flaw, so they ordered us a new one and let us use that one until it arrived. Very friendly and professional.

I feel badly for the franchised stores as this corporate one is horrible. Located about 400 meters from the saskatchewan border on the alberta side. I bought a bed in swift current saskatchewan. They are excellent to deal with. They arranged the bed to be picked up in Lloyd, since I am moving there. Delivery I was told was not available because I'm at an acreage. I get a phone call that bed is ready for pick up. They offer me delivery. Told them where I was. Gave then my address. They phone back next say tell me they are not able to deliver. Week goes by and I phone arrange when I would pick it up. 12 hours before pickup a random phone call from them saying I won a free delivery to my location. I repeat my concern and their policy. They say it doesn't matter. Give them my address and they say yes this applies. Happy, I make other plans. 3 hours before their delivery time they phone again and say they can't deliver as my location doesn't apply. I was upset but not beligerant in the least. The lady on the line had somewhat of a language barrier or at the very least we had a hard time understanding each other, she then alleges I swore at her and told me that wasnt tolerated and hung up in my ear. Not sure to this day what she actually heard. Regardless I am extremely disappointed. Would appreciate a discussion with someone who has a vested interest in improving the level of service but I wont hold my breath with the other reviews I see.best of luck, you have a huge opportunity to do better.
