The Canadian Brewhouse (Calgary Mahogany)

They have tons of food options and we usually choose to go here if we don’t have anything new to try because they’re so consistent! If you like watching sporting games then it’s definitely a place to try

We were there with a large group, maybe 50-70 people. Service was good, but not exceptional, food was fine. Typical pub food.
Not likely to find myself at this location again, but may go to one closer to home.

Jenna was our server tonight. She was amazing. Despite being noticeably busy she kept a smile on her face and went above and beyond! Will come back just to visit Jenna again. Also her recommendation on the same team sofa was great. Thanks Jenna!

I’ve been here a couple times, everytime has been excellent, but Chase was above and beyond tonight and I couldn’t be happier with my service tonight

Went with my sister to have a couple beers and must say, our bartender was Luke and he was by far the best bartender we have ever had in our whole life! Very attentive and easy conversation. The waitresses were also amazing and so friendly and I can’t say enough good things about this place! Cannot wait to go back.

Our server was Brit. She was super friendly & happy. The service was excellent. Would definitely go back again & hope for Brit as our server. And the nachos and spinach dip were very good.

I am only giving this a three star because of Steven a bar tender within the brewhouse he went out of the way to do everything he possibly could for us. We ordered through skip the dishes at 7: 50 PM and our order got delivered at 9: 52. I get if system changes and updates but it is frustrating when you're waiting two hours for your food and half of it is completely missing. But when calling Steven was really helpful to us and got a new order made we were able to finally eat at almost 11 PM after driving there to go pick up our food when the purpose was to get it through skip. It was just lucky because we live so close but this was probably the worst service ive gotten through skip the dishes from a restaurant but the best service from a worker. Thank you steven for being understanding and amazing. Canadian brewhouse do better be like steven.

I went in for a 32 OZ steak and was blown away. Dee -a charming and attentive server- was absolutely awesome! She knows her stuff, and is super friendly.
The steak melted in my mouth, and was cooked to perfection, something you seldom see in a cut of that size.
Mitch the manager stopped by to check on us, offering a personal touch to the experience.
I cannot recommend this place strongly enough. Ask for Dee if she's available. Just a rad human being.

They have a great rooftop patio, food is pretty good with a lot of variety. But this last time the food service was a little slow and the wings were over cooked.

Avoid if using Skip. 2hr+ wait.they blamed it on no drivers and then when offered to pick up - they claimed they were just too busy? Lots of other places deserve the business - not them

Food was solid choices, good seating and top of most was able to catch my hockey games no issues, if ya looking for a place to drink and not have to wait for a waiter here’s the place thank me later!

First time here with my boyfriend, food was great and the waitress we had was really amazing. Will be coming again here soon.

Went on patio to celebrate my husband's birthday. Gave us a free shot. We ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and split it in two. It was great.
We sat on the patio which now has mist and green artificial grass.
Food at this place is usually really slow. Today It wasn't.

Came here for Father's day, service was great and food was good. Got a free appetizer because it was Father's Day which was a nice bonus. Rooftop patio is really nice too!

This was our first time at this pub. The rooftop patio is cool and the waitress was nice. However, the water glasses looked gross and dirty, the beer stein my husband got looked just as gross when the beer was gone.
Food took way too long, ordered onion rings for an Appy and took nearly 45 minutes to come out, thankfully they were tasty.

The entrees however were truly a mess.
I ordered tuna poke which had clearly reheated old rice since when I took the first couple of bites and had globs of dried out rice balls in my mouth. Got super turned off and didn't eat anymore of it.

My husband's taco bowl had wilted lettuce and the ground beef literally tasted bland with 0 seasoning.

We took a couple of bites of our dinner paid the bill and left.

Don't order the Playmaker Platter from Skip the Dishes. Disappointing platter for $65 and misleading description. They describe it as a "giant keg size plate" of wings and we received less than a pound. They also threw maybe a handful of nacho chips in the box. I am glad we only had 1 friend over as there is barely enough food for 3 people. The donair sauce for the garlic fingers was also so runny and tasteless, it was like they rinsed the sauce bottle and served that water. PS the veggies were shriveled and the salsa is not handmade as described.

Ate here again after a very bad experience few years ago and food is sooo good now. So happy about it as this is in my neighborhood. Ordered twice now last few weeks and very happy with the food. I'll be ordering and dining in again.

Called to see if they had seats available to watch the game. Was informed there where tons of seats available and wide open infront of the TV screens. Arrived 2 min later to the front telling me there is a 20 min wait. This shenanigans ruined my game of game 5 Stanley Cup finale.

Still great food and great service when you get in. Just arrive before the game and not during. If it sounds too good probably means it is.

Service at this location is almost always excellent. Seriously over priced but, then again, what isn't these days? Ordered a tossed salad w/chicken ($18) and it was mostly lettuce with a 4oz chicken breast (pretty disappointing). I would give 4-5 stars if the bang for buck was better.

Excellent place with great service. We had Stephen from the bar help us yesterday and he was fantastic. Timely food and drink orders and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend for watching sports!

Came on a Sunday for some brunch, the food was great. Our bartender Stephen was very friendly and made our Sunday a great one. Some of the best service at any bar down in south Calgary. I would highly recommend coming down to the Canadian brew house anytime for some good food and even better drinks.

Stephan with a ph is actually amazing. He helped us out by offering so many drink options when we asked for suggestions. Every drink was amazing

Came in for Wing Wednesday with some friends and had a great time. Our server Stephen was awesome and made the experience even better. I definitely recommend coming here.

Amazing atmosphere! Great brunch best staff in the city! Stephen rocking bar made a Sunday morning feel just a little less hangovery
