The Canadian Brewhouse (Airdrie)

I ordered 12 oz prime rib steak and when I came home it looked pretty much like boiled steak in water. Vegetables were a joke.almost nothing and two little spoons of mashed potatoes, very cheap. I had to fry steak it on a pan and add some salt and pepper because it had no taste at all. I like visiting CBH for few drinks but I am not sure I will order food again.

My first visit to a restaurant after being diagnosed with Celiac. I was afraid to eat anywhere. The waitress was amazing and made sure I was taken care of in a way that didn't make me feel embarrassed for having to ask questions. However, my 2nd experience ruined me ever wanting to eat there again. I ordered the exact same thing I did last time, expecting it to be gluten-free.

I did a pick-up order instead of eating in. I got home to find a dough perogie mixed in with my stirfry, mushrooms (which I asked for, none to be added), topped with a billion onions. It was covered in green onion, and then the stir fry had a few veggies and LOTS of red onion. Basically, a mushroom and onion stir fry with a random perogie mixed in. They also gave me the tiniest starter size salad and no garlic toast like last time. No kids dessert like their other locations offer.

They offered to remake my meal after asking for my money back. They assured me I will be ok to eat it. The first thing I was excited to eat was the gluten free garlic toast bun. I bit into it only to find it was a plain dry bun. Not toasted with nothing on it. I still also had a reaction to something from there. Oh, and after having to turn around and spend another 30+ min driving to pick up my proper order, I still had to ask for a reimbursement on my stir-fry after I was told not to worry that it would be taken care of. That made me realize they didn't care. They knew what a pain it was for me to drive all the way across town and back again for THEIR mistake. I specifically went to this location because of my wonderful first experience. Now, I'd never go back to any of them. How hard is it to give the garlic bread when it is supposed to be included? The one thing that anyone celiac misses is bread. I came back for that delicious bun and to bot get it even after they promised it, I am done. I have no faith in their competence or that they care about food allergies. I get respitory problems as soon as I eat anything with wheat. Cross contamination is absurd for us. A tiny crumb can make me throw up for days and, my hands to crack and bleed. No food is worth that. I'm so disappointed. I wish they made things right without me having to ask for a partial refund TWICE. Even after I was told I was getting one.

The location in Lloydminster gives out cotton candy with kids meals. That was a hit for my kids and another reason they agrees to eat there. Don't expect any type of treat with it at the airdrie location. Even if you ask.

So very dissapointed with brewhouse and the experience we had. Our waitress was negligent, ignored us, walked away from us while we were still speaking to her, and overall just not helpful. We ordered the wings and were served these measly small wings that were dry, and seemed like they had been left out for hours. We've tried this location a few times, and 9/10 times we are left dissapointed. The serves here act annoyed to be doing their jobs and obviously don't have respect for their jobs.

Stopped in for lunch. The food was great. The music was low so we could talk. I've been there at supper and the music was so loud you had to yell to communicate.

2023: Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon because my husband wanted to. As someone who hates pub style seating, it wasn’t bad midday. Space had enough light, service was fantastic, and nice to have brunch on until 3pm. Food is PRICEY though, $14 for an order of the ‘feature’ fries (garlic butter, that’s it). A zillion TVs and the sound didn’t match the biggest ones (their Jumbotron) which was annoying, but otherwise seemed fine. I still wouldn’t come back during dinner rush, but a chill afternoon was ok.

2018: Have to edit that it’s gone downhill. We’ve tried to come here three times only to be completely ignored at the door. Sure it’s busy but servers push past you and everyone just kindof muddles around confused. Mr. Mikes got our money and we won’t waste our time even stopping here anymore!

2017: Service is hit or miss-the server with the purple hair is AMAZING, other ones have practically ignored us. Food is hit or miss - prawns are TO DIE FOR, calamari has poor pub batter. Poutine should be great but they cheese dams the sauce so it's dry fries on the bottom. Pricier than pub food too. Often so loud that the server can't hear us across the table, and after 10pm it's a nightclub and you can't even hear the person next to you.
BUT it always seems packed, so my opinion doesn't seem the majority!

Recently visited family in airdie area and stopped in for lunch. Had there triple layer nachos with chicken. And ended up getting food poisoning won't be going back.

Was served by Annie, she was super nice, very accommodating of my allergy and made the whole experience awesome. Will be back

Natalia was an amazing and interactive bartender. She was kind & helpful on my first visit and gave great recommendations for food and drinks.

The staff the food and the place was very good.really like how they treat the kids amd always make sure we’re being taken care of.we tend to come there from our way back to town. Kaitlin really went above and beyond to have us fed quickly before 9 one time and will always go back when coming through town.thanks guys for your awesome service!

The manager Kaitlin is awesome, she’s really someone that you wanna sit down and have a drink with. Also great and chatted with us a little bit and asked about our evening. Loved the atmosphere and our server Annie was great. Love this place - get the steak bites!

30 minutes for a first drink. Service after that was okay had to re ask for rounds of drinks and food sides a couple times. However when it came time for the bill it took 45 min and multiple times asking to get them and they were all very mixed up. Some frustration (no raised voices or swearing) with the situation led to the Manager coming over and instead of asking what the situation was slamming debit machines in front of us while producing as much attitude as she could muster.
If more time was spent training staff to manage the 10% of tables that were in the entire building and less time giving customers attitude she could probably be a successful manager.

We had a great experience here with our family this Friday night! Our awesome server, Gracie, had a busy section and she didn’t skip a beat. She was on top of everything and great with our kids! Great service and food - thank you!

Delicious food here at The Canadian Brewhouse! The Deep Fried Pickles and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap really hit the spot and our server was lovely. Ample seating available for lunch.

Service was awesome! The atmosphere was fun and upbeat on a Saturday night and Annie made our experience wonderful, recommending drinks and food that we loved! Thank you to the Brewhouse team and especially Annie! We will be coming back to this location

A group of 4 of us came down for Taco Tuesday and Coronas. The patio was where we wanted to sit and got a great seat right next to the misters which were so appreciated on a plus 34 day! Our gal, Sam was the server and she was great. She informed us right away that the restaurant was busy and a bit understaffed but kept us hydrated while we waited for the food to arrive! Kudos to her for staying so chill under pressure. We didn't mind the wait and had a good time chatting it up on the patio. Honestly nothing but good food and staff here. Yeah stuff happens and you might have go wait a bit for food. Enjoy the sun and a cold one! We enjoyed our time, the food and company and will definitely come back again! Cheers!
