I love the poutine cheese curds, but I feel like the fries have been getting worse over the last few years. Not burnt, but a.burnt-adjacent taste.

Just tried their jerk beef and it is pretty awesome too.

If you are a cheese fan and happen to be in edmonton or area I highly recommend the cheese factory. The cheese is made on site and soo very fresh and delicious. The cheese curd is oh so squeaky and cheesy.

The Cheese Factory is Edmonton's undisputed best place to buy poutine cheese curds, but there are so many other delicious products offered at an affordable price. My personal favorite is their smoked beer cheese, best served when bbq'd for 3 minutes that pairs perfect with an IPA beer. Their feta cheese is super fresh which is very notable when compared to the grocery store brand names. Honorable mention to their new blueberry and cranberry cheddar cheese blocks that I now serve my guests as part of our charcuterie board. My guests are always impressed when we entertain! Big surprise, Mario's Poutine and Pizzeria is next door and offers many of these marvelous cheese products on their menu. Sorry vegans, but I recommend substituting the bacon with Montreal smoked meat on the Supreme Pizza. And the same smoked meat on their signature poutine which is the best in Edmonton hand down!

Their in-house cheeses are sold in bars and delis all around the city for a reason, truly a jem of the Edmonton food scene.

Many people also shop here for the freshly made cheese curds, but I personally could eat an entire kilo of their smoked beer cheese in one sitting.

Such a wonderful blend of mild cheese flavor, salt, and that savory smokie taste. It's like cheese-string for adults.

Great beer cheese. Friendly staff. Gave out free samples of deep fried and air fried beer cheese. Highly recommend.

I can't even buy grocery store cheese after buying from here. The cheese here is so fresh and has a super clean flavour that is missing in mass produced cheese.

Extremely friendly staff, good service and great selection. They do not currently sell cheese making supplies though which is very disappointing but hopefully they can get those back on the shelf soon!

Their beer cheese is so addicting, I literally have to hold myself back from going there every week for more! They also have great cheese curds and other cheeses!

Had a standard poutine. Wasn't a fan of the fries, but the gravy and curds were excellent! Would eat there again. Definitely recommend.

Fresh Curd, Friendly Staff, and a Terrific Owner. Make sure you try all the varieties of curd. The B-B-Q that is made 'only' on Friday is my favorite. They also do some block cheeses too. Great selection. Home of the Famous Beer Cheese. So named for its salty flavour. They also carry a few dessert tarts too. Parking right in front which is a bonus on 82 ave. This is also the old type of curd that you would remember as squeaky cheese! As good as any bought in Ontario or Quebec. A must visit for everyone!

Best Cheese Curds I have had since I was in Eastern Ontario. Apparently they are now making the Curds fresh daily. The price is very reasonable. I recently tried smoke beer cheese, or what can only be described as cheese strings for adults, next family dinner I am putting this out with the rest of the appetizers. Why buy cheese from the grocery store? I am going back for sure.

Loved the poutine! The best in town so far. I grew up in Quebec and I was missing the real cheese until I finally found it! If you are a big fan of cheese, I suggest you order extra cheese in your poutine. Plus this time we tried their outstanding fried chicken ️it was very crispy and we dipped it in siracha with ketchup, yum yum! Like usual, the lady cashier was also friendly and her serving was very good. Thank you so much!

This is a combo review for attached restaurant and store. Big selection of poutine toppings, veggie to meat. The cheese curds were amazing but the fries and gravy left me wanting more. The store has good selection of smoked cheeses, curds, Gouda ect and it is tasty!

Wonderful little shop with tasty fresh products. Once u have some once you'll be hooked and want more. We found the cheese the first time at the market, great extra location.

Disappointed.frozen fries, gravy was great though. Overpriced.poutine and 4 chicken strips for $22

Nice place great products and always fresh but be aware If you are allergic to the seafood protein there is cross contamination between the restaurant on the other side and the cheese factory.

The cheese here is absolutely fantastic.best cheese curds in all of Canada! Got them Quebecers beat.

I don’t want to give too low or high of a rating here but hear me out.
Something has changed with the cheese curd recipe over the last year or so. I loved the cheese curds here. Would go out of my way to just head here for a bag.
The last 3 bags have tasted quite a bit different. At first I thought it was a not a great batch kind of day. Happened again. I hadn’t purchased for awhile after that until today. Stopped in since I was in the area. Again they taste weird! I don’t know how to describe it other than they seem to be more tart and a lot less salty. The curds in the bag today were also Super soft and didn’t have the very audible squeak they had in the passed. Last thing, the bags also seem to have more and more of the whitish clear liquid in them.
Anyway, this place does have lots of yummy cheeses to try (smoked beer cheese delicious) but truth be told, I don’t like how the cheese curds have changed.

The best, freshest, squeaky cheese curds! Which also means the best poutine! Even have a gluten free option for their poutine sauce (no, not just gravy)! Plus many other great cheeses to choose from, I especially like the smoked cheeses.

Great poutine the first time I was here. Pretty good pizza the second time. Quiet little place with attentive staff and awesome atmosphere. Great lunch spot

Fresh squeaky cheese curds for making poutine. (Frozen available for 20% less!) and picked up some creton as well. A welcome taste of home.
