The Crimson

Lovely view of the mountains, very quiet during our stay despite being close to the train tracks. Rooms were warm during the cold snap of 2024 (-31c during our stay).

Here for business getaway, rooms and staff at hotel very good, concerns with restaurant service, was terrible, although our food was good we waited 45 minutes to get our breakfast, our combined table had two waitress, very confused when we sit next to each other, long time to get our coffee order, never got our cream or spoon, very disappointed with the service with the restaurant staff, there were plenty visible but very very poor performance

We stayed in this hotel as a corporate group for Christmas party. Toni-Marie was our sales person, who did a wonderful job organizing everything. The stay and dinner went so smooth - very impressive. Many thanks to the hotel team: Alex, bartender (Czech gentleman), Toni-Marie, front desk, room allocation team - you guys did an amazing job. I will recommend The Crimson to my friends.

The cleaning could be better. Vents were full of dust and random unknown stains. Rooms were a little dated. Beds were comfy. And I have to say the tiniest elevator that smelled of garage so we resorted to using the stairs to the third floor. They were nice in providing earplugs for the trains but we could not hear them. Limited parking. Staff was pleasant.

The location was very close to the town center. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Free packing.
But there were some noises from the train.

Jasper is the attraction and the Hotel provides a convenient stopover at comparable rate. Just 12 minutes from the SkyTram. Despite the website asking if you will be wanting to park your car, it is still first come first served. I was very lucky someone was leaving to enable me to park in the last place. Otherwise it would have been street parking. The room was adequate. Lifts to rooms. In hindsight we would have preferred to eat elsewhere but we were tired and it was getting late. Complimentary earplugs for the close proximity of the goods trains were unnecessary.
Only one checkout staff.
May look for earlier booking elsewhere next time. But arrive earlier to get parking and walk down the road to the other eateries. Otherwise adequate for our needs.

We had a problem with the fact that they assigned a room of a lower category than the one contracted but offered a price reduction to the cost of the same

No parking space available for all the guests which was disappointing but city parking cost is not that expensive.

Nice room. You can hear people upstairs and the humming of the appliances at night but ear buds were provided- very thoughtful. Personally I did not like the smell of the hand/ body wash and shampoo. Loved how they called to check in if everything was okay with the room.

Great hotel located well for downtown Jasper. Located at quieter end but still close to all amenities.

Clean rooms with nice comfy beds.

Arrived on The Canadian train at 8am but gad to wait until 2.45pm before a room was made available. The hotel did store our bags so we could walj around until then.

Almost everything is good but parking is a issue! There are not parking for all guests and, if you want to park on the streets, you to do after 21: 00h and leave 07: 00h. Otherwise the municipality will charge you for it.

This is a great centrally located hotel. Easy and a short walk to all shopping, restaurants, and convenient pick-up by shuttle busses. We arrived by train on Wednesday morning, and it was a short walk to the Crimson. The front desk staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all, very welcoming. A special shout out to Bianca, who was super helpful on Saturday when we were trying to make alternate plans on Saturday morning when the VIA Rail train was canceled. The in-house restaurant "Terra" serves delicious meals with friendly staff. A big shout out to Mathieu, our server, during Happy Hour on Friday. Can't wait for our next trip to Jasper, and you can bet we will be staying at the Crimson!

Booked accommodation for The Crimson Jasper through The Crimson website from Australia (and also the Columbia Icefields tour) for September, but did not received email confirmation even though some money has come out from our bank account. Have been attempting to contact The Crimson as I have a couple of questions regarding the booking (as we are doing all bookings ourself rather than through a travel agent).
I have contacted The Crimson Jasper a number of times via email and also through their website booking and through facebook and have not had a response back. I have also tried to call the number that is listed and am now starting to wonder if I have been scammed and that it is not really an establishment. If it is such a place, the communication and getting back to guests is extremely poor.

Its a nice hotel in Downtown Jasper. Easy to take a short walk downtown to the shops. Beds were nice and the bathrooms clean. Nobody in Jasper should be spending much time inside so this place will do just fine. Parking is free and we didnt know about the breakfast…! This is the view from our room

Unfortunately, soundproofing wasn't good. The worst was the room's air ventilation or fridge, terribly noisy - I couldn't sleep (visited in last year Summer 2022)

The staff are lovely and very accommodating. The restaurant is excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable stay

What a great hotel to stay at in Jasper. A very short walk to the "downtown" and right across the street from the train station. They do provide earplugs in the room, but we didn't hear anything! Beds were very comfortable and it was so nice to have a Keurig coffee machine in the room. I would recommend adding a safety bar and a towel hook outside the shower. We ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room and the food was excellent, as was the service.

Clean rooms and nice pool. Staff was extremely nice and ensured we had all we needed. The food at their restaurant is amazing. Didn't know I was missing so much by not cooking my potatoes in duck fat! Can't wait to stay again.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in Jasper. The location is right in the middle of everything, the rooms are modern and so lovely and the building is quiet. Also, the amazing staff are out of this world (Serj (I hope that's the right spelling?) and Nicholas in particular). It was brought up that it was my birthday and Serj immediately upgraded us to a suite! I don't think I've ever felt so welcomed. An extra special thank you to Serj and Nicholas! I would highly recommend staying here.

We were on a tour and this hotel was part of our package; but if we ever have a chance to come back we would definitely stay here again. The staff is amazing. The restaurant food is wonderful, and if you require a bar you got it. You can walk pretty much anywhere. It's quiet and comfortable. If you drive there seems to be ample parking. It's within walking distance to the train station, I saw EV charging across the street and there is access to a lot of fun stuff. I really liked it there and I'm kind of fussy.
