Em came and cabled two of our 50+ year old spruce trees. He was super knowledgeable and gave us some tips for maintenance to keep our trees healthy for many years and even showed us the cabling process. It was crazy to see him climb up to the top third of the trees!

We recently purchased property that had some very old, and large, trees in the back. As they looked like they hadn't been trimmed in years, we booked Emi to come out and do a clean up. Emi came recommended from some friends who also wanted to conserve their trees.

We did our initial visit in the Fall with booking for the following Spring. While he was here in the Spring he noted how healthy the trees were, gave us tips on how to care for them and pointed out a future problem that we will have to take care of. The amount that did come off was less than we thought was needed, which was good for the trees. We got our trimming mulched on his next round with the truck.

I absolutely recommend The Crooked Tree and will be calling him again in the Spring to clear that future problem.

Emi at the Crooked Tree Arborist does a wonderful job of caring for our trees. He knows where and how to prune to best respect the tree's own health, so I trust him absolutely to take good care of our trees and not cut indiscriminately. I highly recommend the Crooked Tree Arborist!
In addition he's environmentally conscious and uses his cargo bicycle when he can to come to your property - carrying his tools with him, and a trailer with which to cart away the branches he removes from your trees.

The initial consult was very thorough, information on the various trees & what they recommended was well explained. The staff were very professional & courteous, I was very pleased with the work they did, tree pruning & removal of a fruit tree. The yard was left clean & today. The rates were great. They will be my choice for all my future tree pruning needs.

The Crooked Tree Arborist trimmed back a tree that was growing over the roof of my garage. They were very knowledgeable and professional, and helped to prevent undue wear on the shingles, while still being mindful of the health of the tree. Emi did a wonderful job pruning our apple tree and fixing some issues we had with the tree. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. The yard (and the neighbours yard) were clean of all pruning debris. Highly recommend.

We’re very happy with the work done by The Crooked Tree at our home. We had two spruce that needed to be removed. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Both workers were great folks and wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend them for any tree work you have! We were able to save money by keeping all the wood and mulch for our yard and even kept a large portion of the back spruce to build a treehouse later.
