This place saved my a… Tesla by having an EV charger! The Tesla is a rental so I don’t know all the ins and outs … I was just trusting the kilometers left on the charge and didn’t know that if I enjoyed its speed and pickup driving up mountains that it would diminish the battery at warp speed. Had they not had the charger, I would have been without a charge and no cell service to call for help, so thank you Crossing Gas Station for having an EV charger! And it’s FREE!

While I waited I went inside and ate a nice bowl of soup and had a coffee. They have a nice gift shop and restaurant with a balcony that has a MAGNIFICENT view.

Departing from Banff National Park to Jasper National Park, the gasoline in the fuel tank can travel about 200 kilometers. To be on the safe side, I stopped here to fill up the fuel tank. Stop by the nearby supermarket to buy souvenirs. The shape of the mountains behind a nearby hotel is very special.

This may take the cake for the most expensive gas station in CANADA! Absolutely insane. They do everything they can to make sure you don’t see it until your tank is full.

I’d rather run out of gas than fill up here again. Absolute scam.

Standard highway restaurant but expensive (20+ dollar for a burger?). Had a great chili soup though (7 dollar if I remember correctly).

In between banff and Jasper and probably one of the only stops for gas on the way! Wish they sold some energy drinks as a long drive between the two requires it. But there’s plenty of other options to consider and a diner to eat at. Popcorn was freshly popped and restrooms were clean. They fill your gas and you drive up to pay which I enjoyed. They also have a free air pressure machine to use!

If you want to fill up with the most expensive gas in the province, this is the spot! Granted, it’s the only gas station for at least 80 km in all directions, but properly planning will avoid needing a full-up here. It’s was $2.18/L for regular on August 4,2023 l, which was at least 50 cents more than the next most expensive in the province.

It's at the centre of banff and jasper, so we stopped for gas and coffee. The food is way expensive considering it's a gas station, but given there is nothing around I get it. I loved the beautiful views of the mountains. They have a lodge if you want to stay or a pub kind of thing for drinks and hangout. You will most probably stop here for gas at the least, when you do enjoy the views

Our family had an awfully distasteful experience in the dining area and were treated totally disrespectfully by a rude, offensive male staff member and an accomplice female staff member. The cafeteria seemed to severely lack internal customer service training and lack holding customer-offending employees responsible. The big concern is that other future customers will be treated the same disrespectful way.

We were a family of 4 and ordered 4 full lunch meals in the cafeteria. We also had a left over sandwich from previous meal that we thought to finish. We made an innocent error of not being aware that the cafeteria did not allow external food. However, please note we ordered 4 lunch meals there, so it was not like we brought only external food to consume in their cafeteria.

The male staff: suddenly came over to our table, rudely and condescendingly started yelling at us, “No outside food here! ” We were quite startled at this lack of politeness to their paid customers. When I was talking with the manager about the situation, the male staffer showed up, and when I pointed out to the manager it was him who had the disrespectful behavior, the male staffer put both of his hands on his hips, defiantly looked at the manager and myself, as if he was ready to start another a fight.

The female staff: a female staff joined while we told the male staff it was not OK to speak disrespectfully to his customers or anyone. She told us to leave if we did not like their rules or the disrespectful way they enforced the rules, and blamed us to be “aggressive”. She also proudly (i.e. Shamelessly) told us that there was a comment box, and if we did not like things here, we could leave a comment there.

The manager: we asked for the manager given the offensive situation. The manager admitted that his staff started this bad encounter, perhaps due to some other personal frustrations (his words), he’d “talk” to the two staff members, and apologized to us. However, he did not want to have the staff members to apologize, and indicated that it was the best apologies we’d get, even if the owner showed up and intervened. I mentioned to the manager that I was mostly concerned that the next customers who come in would be treated the same way. To this, the manager kept repeating that it was the best apology we’d get, there was no need for further actions, even if the owner came.

This was a series of unprovoked rude behaviors and languages by the two staff members, and non-reassuring and non-transparent feedback from the manager. These rude behaviors clearly indicated the lack of serious internal customer service training and lack of serious consequences if/when the staff violated the internal customer service policy.

When bad behaviors were tolerated with no more than a slap of wrist, it was no wonder that staff members were openly defiant toward their customers, their managers, and customer comments boxes. The big concern is that the same would happen again to other future customers. That is the motivation for me to write this review. I hope nobody who reads this or uses their facility will be treated like we were.

Note added: there are a lot of reviews on price gouging in this location. One thing to add is that the cafeteria staff would ask for 15-20% tips at the time of ordering food for only bringing fast food from kitchen to your table, without waiting on you at all. We tipped full because we were nice people, but in the context of the rude and disrespectful treatment by the staff, I strongly recommend saying no to tipping when ordering but leaving a tip if you wish when you finish your meal and leave.

It's worth a visit just for the scenery. The usual selection of stuff for sale. Stop if you're passing.

Passing through again. Stopped for fuel, a coffee, and a break for my butt. Pretty haze filled skies from the forest fires. Typically the views here are pretty awesome.

It's right in the middle of everything, and you can get Gass, have lunch or supper, and spend the night, beautiful scenery, the food is a little expensive but the gift shop is right around what a gift shop should be

Open at 7am on a weekend? ATM, grab-and-go cold sandwiches, and campground essentials? Mega view from the parking lot? I was even able to call the resort desk and be reassured of the gas pump hours, and had everything I needed to get to a 9am climbing class with refreshment

It is a great pleasure to see this store on my trip to jasper when I was concerning about my gas tank level. Of course the price is higher than outside of park but be frankly, I am truly thankful for its presence

The only gas station and restaurant that you can find inside this highway. Better get your gas filled up and grab some food.

This place brings back nostalgic memories, it feels like the 80’s. The view in the area is good, surrounded by mountains.

Was a nice place to drive by, once I saw that gas was marked up to over $2/litre, when we filled up in Jasper @ 1.50, and Nordegg too. Make sure that you have a full take before leaving Jasper or Banff.

People brag about the price, ignoring the fact that it is in the middle of nowhere. All their support system is done by themselves.

The restaurant is exceptionally clean, they clean their tables, floor and washroom very very often. You can hardly find any cafe clean like this anywhere in North America.

This is a place i really recommended for their effort to offer service in the middle of no where. I appreciate their presence.

Probably only gas and food stop between Banff and Jasper with plenty of parking spaces. They have good collection of Togo and Dine options ranging from fries to pasta and more.kids also picked up last min gift items at a reasonable price. Good service at the dine in restaurant.

Paid $2.14 per liter. Gas and diesel prices are not displayed on signs as most gas stations. I didn't notice one nor bothered to ask prior to the gas attendant filling up the tank. I was just surprised by the bill as i was tapping my credit card at payment station. The price was $1.5 in Jasper and $1.48 in Banff/Lake Louise at time of writing this.something wrong here? Overpaid 64 cents per litter.if you don't need gas, keep driving by
