Experienced a very rude Manager last Sunday evening. Sign was showing 'Open' at 8.55 pm and we got in for some donuts. She started yelling that shop is closed at 9 pm and she has to go home and she has still has to count her cash till. To which I replied we are just getting 6 donuts and leaving right away and we are from Edmonton. 'We are open tomorrow morning. Come back then' replied one of her assistants. Donuts are great there.it is not because you have good food that you treat people like piece of s. Very upsetting encounter.
Amazing selection of doughnuts and some amazing flavors, we grabbed a dozen all different and all were really really good, coffee on the other hand is not something I would get again from here but we will be back for doughnuts next time we pass through.
This is my ultimate favorite stop when having to be in Red Deer for work or traveling in between places for work. They are always super friendly and easygoing. Probably some of the best staff anywhere. They have the best doughnuts and the sandwiches are to die for. I will stop here before I’ll stop at my usual Tim’s. Best service best price best food and probably the best doughnuts
These guys make donuts the way that Tim Hortons used to make donuts back in the '90s and 80s. The right way. Made on site and fresh. Always fresh and that's no lie or slogan.
At the suggestion of my children that live in Edmonton I stopped here on my way through to British Columbia. I was very pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken sandwich coffee and a donut. The young man named "Kincaid" that helped me from behind the counter was just a breath of fresh air. He was kind polite and helpful. As it was my first time there, I didn't know about all this condiments that I could order for my sandwich. He was very happy to assist. I will definitely stop here again every time I pass by. The chicken sandwich was just like my mom or grandmother would make. No more stopping at those other donut places when passing by here
That is the first time when I stopped there. They had great selection of donuts so instead of picking each separately I asked for assorted. What was my surprise when 25kms after I opened the dozen donuts box and saw that they picked mostly 2 of each. Update Sep 2023. Something changed or maybe I was just unlucky the last time. The last few times this year the donuts are really fresh and delicious. Right now that is my family favourite donut stop whenever we drive to/from Edmonton.
Second time going there because reviews are so good but both times the donuts are so dry it's like they were made 3 days in advance 3 of 4 kids didn't even finish there donuts. Just very disappointing for the price you pay, I'm happy to pay premium for local and quality but this lacks the quality
Best place to get donuts, pasteries, and different types of breads. This place has a huge variety of donuts to choose from. Go there and you will not be disappointed at all.
I'm on a donut hunt and this place is definitely in my top donut places in Alberta. They have a very comfortable selection which you can pair with hot coffee.
We asked for a variety pack of donuts. She said she'll give us a variety of thier, "most popular. " This is what we got two plain, one sugar coated, two boston cream, one spinkle, one cookies and cream, one cinnamon cream, one lemon cream, one chocolate coated cream filled, one coconut cake, and one maple. Half were very plain.and not fresh tasting. I'd say Tim Horton's would be a better place to go.
Made a road trip just to have lunch and get donuts. Was not disappointed. The selection of lunch items and donuts was perfect. Was a line up however the staff handled it well. The line moved very quickly. I will return.
This place is a “must” stop each time on the route Calgary-Edmonton. Even though the quality of donuts went down since before covid, the soups and MAINLY THE STEW are absolutely delicious! ! It is our fave! Give it a try. Donuts are around $2.50 as od September 2023
