Amazing place to stay. First time staying in canmore and for Drake Inn. Got awsome price. Booked main floor room, called hotel to ask some question and lady suggested it is not mountain view room it is 10$ extra to switch to 2nd floor to have mountain view and i said yes do it. When we got there she said she didnt charge us 10$ extra. Really loved customer service. Loved the area everything is near by and busy area. Very secure, look forward to come back here! Wish to meet same lady

We did not stay overnight, but our car did! We were just enjoying the Oktoberfest at the pub, and then afterwards, our car wouldn’t start. In the morning, I was trying to jumpstart it without success, and the manager came out and helped. Gave me some good advice concerning tow trucks, and auto repair shops. I appreciated his input.

Location 5 stars. Bare bones, with Rocky Mountain Soap Co.amenities (nice touch). Good sleep.

Didn’t have expectations of what our accommodations would be like as this was booked by the bride (wedding event) for our stay. But … It’s an older 2 level motel, pretty basic. The bedroom and bathroom were clean but no air conditioner, just a fan.quite disappointed. There’s an outdoor patio bar, Food was good, location was not the best for us, as it’s on the Main Street. A little busy and noisy with other guests partying in other rooms. Lots of food and shopping within walking distance. Great view of the Three Sisters mountain from our bedroom window. Not too overhyped and no good vibes in this place.

Not a nice place to stay.
Room was quite clean, but couldn't lock the balcony door. Secured with a hockey stick.
We didn't want to stay there, but no money was refunded.
Terrible customer service.
Would not recommend to book it again.

Here for 2 nights. Older motel and pretty basic, but lots of light (the windows don't face the parking lot but the back, which was nice), light, clean, comfortable beds and great location, very walkable, as it's right next to the town centre. Our only real issue was the lack of a desk or proper seating to put our laptop or enjoy our morning coffee. Lively pub/restaurant, with really good food and service. I would absolutely recommend as an economical place for a few days visit to canmore.

We had one night stay while traveling from banff to Jasper. The breakfast was included in our stay, and it had a good variety, great quality and was delicious too.

Only reviewing the restaurant here. Been there a few times mainly because of the wings. They are a must. Alcohol selection is decent and if you have the chance, go there when there is live music. Performers at the Drake Inn definitely know how to do what they do.

There’s a pub at this hotel with extremely loud music which makes it impossible to have some night sleep, and we’re supposed to wake up at 4 am for a multi day alpine climbing trip. It’s almost midnight, and the music is still blasting through tightly closed windows (it’s a heat wave now and no AC). What is the point of getting a hotel room if you can’t sleep in it? !

My husband and I came from Canada and were staying here on our 4 day 3 night trip. We had a blast the pool was great staff was awesome! Lynn at the front desk was super helpful and we met some locals that showed us around and took care of us during our stay. You can ride the 55 bus right to the motel. Walking distance from burger king, sonic and mcdonalds. Few other places around. Gas and smokes shops right up the hill. Jacuzzi room was not working but they are looking into it. Nice and clean and very helpful staff we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were nice, the atmosphere was legitimately authentic. I wish there was air conditioning, and I wish that the bathroom doors would stay shut instead of rolling open.

But other than that, the staff was super friendly, and it was what it was, a mid-range priced motel style hotel where you can stay in the heart of an amazing city and still be walking distance to so many places

I was looking for a last minute hotel room, for the night as we had a wedding to go to in Canmore and every other place in Canmore that I called said I had to book a minimum of two nights but I only needed one night. I called The Drake Inn and the lady that answered my call helped me no problem. I told her I needed a pet friendly room for only one night and she said we have one but no a/c which was fine.when we arrived, she did give us one room and decided to change it to a different room as the dogs might be barking due to the noise from the pub.so we had a balcony with a view of the water and the walking path and it was so beautiful. The rooms were amazing very clean and for there being no air conditioning the fan was perfect as when the sun does go down the temperature drops so it stays cool enough in your room. The walking path which was right beside our room was perfect for me to take the dogs out walking. Anything you needed was just in walking distance from the hotel. I will definitely be staying at this place again. I want to give a salute to the lady at the front desk that helped us out.very good customer service and I appreciate everything you did for us. Thank you you rock.

Watch out for live music nights at the Drake Pub if you want to sleep before 2 a.m. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean despite the unpromising exterior of the building. But when the music started up, sleep went out the window even though the window was closed.

Stay away.
Loud music up to 2am on thursday, friday and saturday. We could not sleep.
Parking not garanteed and mould on the shower area.

Great location right on one of the busiest corners in town. Great pub right in the hotel. Lots of food and shopping within walking distance. Very nice patio on the pub too. Rooms are pretty basic and some have very nice views. Parking on-site can be tight sometimes as a heads up.

Definitely pricey but the location was amazing. We were there for two nights and the view was enchanting. Terrific service and the pub is so cute. Loved it.

I didn’t expect much as we booked this place for a very low price.however our stay here was great.the room was well decorated to suit its price, the mountain view from our window was beautiful.the staff was also very friendly and helpful, they contacted us beforehand about their limited office hour, which made our check in done much easier.however, one minor issue is how the door is quite old and hard to open, as it took us a while to be able to figure out.

Clean rooms nice people. Just don't like the white bedding would never put white in motel room especially in pet friendly room

Great location but the place is falling apart and the rooms are in such shabby condition and smelly that I'll be looking at somewhere newer next time. My friend really overhyped this place to me. They are dog friendly and don't charge extra for that but really that's about it. That and the amazing mountain view rooms.

They made us extremely good Old Fashioned’s one night. Very surprised, nice pool tables, fun karaoke.
