To the general public, we had a leaking toilet and hired this company to fix it. The plumber came in June to repair it and it leaked again. Another plumber came under the warranty and it leaked again. Another plumber came and it leaked again. My husband and I replaced the hose with $11 from Lowe's a couple weeks ago and it is not leaking. Each time this company came and told us we needed a new toilet, a new this, and a new that. It cost us $400 for a simple fix. Buyer beware.

Professional and arrived on time, but we had an issue with the pricing.
They can't provide a quote before arriving, and charged a $90 fee for showing up, which is reasonable.
We had a clog in the kitchen sink and the gentleman offered 3 packages, with the cheapest one costing $560, which included a warranty on the work and a "home inspection". When we said that we just wanted the drain unclogged and didn't want a warranty or anything else, we were told "that is not an option". We declined and luckily were able to unclog the drain ourselves later in the day.

Added 1 star because the business reached out and heard our side of the story, and refunded the $90 fee.

Poor business model. Can't get an estimate for the work because they charge a $90 service fee plus $110 diagnostic fee before giving you an estimate. Whatever happend to the days when businesses provided free estimates?

Rob from The Gentlemen Pros showed up to replace a main valve and take care of a couple of other plumbing problems I had. He was knowledgeable, communicated pros and cons of all options and did great work. On top of that, he was just a friendly soul. Highly recommended!

Liam and his associate were super helpful and informative. They really went the extra mile by accommodating my inability to walk to meet them at the door or the problem area. It was a big relief to be treated so well while managing both a plumbing issue and a serious physical injury. First class!

My sister and brotherinlaw needed a panel replaced. They have been struggling recently and the last thing they needed was to replace their electrical panel and right before Christmas. The tech shows up and proceeds to tell them all the work and the parts are covered. The tech donated his and the Gentlemen Pro's have covered all the parts!
I have personally never used them but I PROMISE if we do we are calling them!
Restores a bit of faith in this crazy world!

Colin was amazing. He kept working until he found out what the problem was and then he fixed it he was here until 9: 00 p.m. At night. Very pleasant and professional. I've used this company twice and both times I would recommend them to anybody who needs a good plumber or electrician.

Me and my husband recently purchased an older home in Calgary and needed to replace our furnace. These 2 kind gentleman came out to give us a complimentary inspection and quote for what a new furnace would cost us and we’re able to schedule us for a new one less than a week later! This was a relief going into winter we didn’t have to wait at all.
I can not say enough kind things about Brad and the service he provided! He put in a new furnace and humidifier on his own. He ensured everything was completed and done well in one day, he was here for 13hrs and kept a good spirit, professional attitude and was very kind through it all!
The price was exactly what we were quoted previously, we weren’t blindsided at the end of the day. Overall impressed with the service, extremely impressed with Brad, kudos for going above and beyond for us!

They did an excellent job! I would give 5 stars, but the installation was over $500 for a faucet. A professional's time costs money, and apparently the job was not straightforward. But we were quoted that amount before the work began. That seems like a lot of money for a faucet installation.

Had a leaking pressure reducing valve. Earliest appointment was 10 days out. They came in 2 days, were very efficient and professional. There's a reason we stick with Gentlemen Plumbers.

Punctual, quickly identified problems, provided various solution options, attentive, was not in a rush to leave, accepted to fix other stuff right on the spot.

Good service. Somewhat pricey though but prices have gone up everywhere too.

Patrick arrived on time and did not leave until the job (s) were done! This was an estate sale house and repairs were needed after the home inspection. He put a carpet down by the door, put booties over his shoes and we started to discuss all the issues. He told me all about The Gentlemen Pros, went through the billing/pricing guide and I showed him the pictures & report from the home inspection. He gave me an estimate and started to resolve each issue one at a time. He took the time to show me what he was doing and what he found and what he was going to do to fix it. I appreciated that! I learned a LOT from Patrick. We were at the estate home for 9 hours, he only stepped out once to rent a tool. After everything was fixed (and he showed me), he did a home inspection and left the report with me. Patrick is pleasant, he’s good at educating his customers, he’s thorough, he’s tidy, and he’s a hard worker. I would recommend Patrick and The Gentlemen Pros with the utmost confidence. Had them come out to inspect a drain odor, was charged 89.95 for call out fee, and additional 103 to test my drains for proper drainage.result was a laundry list of items that needed to be fixed or replaced.some that had nothing to do with my original concern,

Owner of the company called to explain the solution to the odor smell, and was able to offer a satisfactory solution. Would have been great to get that info upfront. Bumped up to 2 stars from one for the quick follow up.

3rd follow up, bumped up to 5 stars with relentless follow up from Beth on customer care team, company offered to deliver a bottle of bio drain cleaner to help eliminate the smell coming from my drain free of charge.

Used this service to locate my drains in an unfinished basement under the concrete. They pointed out things that I didn't know and were very professional and considerate with the whole process.

The technicians who showed up were excellent.

My only quarrel would be with the company over their dispatch fee. You pay $80 for them to show up and this does not get used towards the total cost of service if you choose to go with them. There are ways to recover that $80. For what it's worth - I would suggest let the customer have a free consultation. Most of the time you know the customer's going to use your service in any case. Tryin to nickel and dime everything, just doesn't leave a good taste in the customer's mouth.

With that being said, i've used this company many times for the same type of service. But quite frankly - if I saw another company that offered the same service and there was no dispatch fee - that's all I would need to switch.

Jeff and Mike, his apprentice, came and installed our new sink and toilet. They were prompt, courteous and very professional. Both men were very personable. Jeff took the time to patiently answer any questions we had. From start to finish everything went smoothly. They cleaned everything up and left the bathroom spotless. They took away the old fixtures as well. We are very impressed with the service and the prompt response from this company. The only thing I would say in a bit of a negative sense, is that I had the impression from my initial phone discussion with this company, that we would be able to select the toilet and sink from the truck or the warehouse when Jeff came. We ended up having to go out and buy our own sink, because the warehouse could not accommodate us in a timely fashion, but luckily, a suitable toilet was found in Red Deer and both items were installed within a week of the initial visit. This ended up being a minor headache, but I would suggest that when a customer calls the business centre, the staff make sure they know that the fixtures may not be available the same day the servicemen come out and that there could be a several week wait if the warehouse does not have what you want on site. I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends. A big thank you to Jeff and Mike.

Fantastic service from Logan and Gareth. They complete a water heater replacement and a number of repairs/replacements to shut offs and spigots. They were great with our large dog and cats and very mindful of noise when they could be for our sleeping newborn. Great customer service and workmanship!

Puddles in my kitchen. I did not want to flood the condo under mine so.

I called in a panic at around 9: 15 am or so and talked to a really nice lady-Ashley, and she was very helpful and friendly. I booked an appointment for 5pm the same day. I was surprised when she called back and said someone could come earlier. Cody came to my house just after NOON! I was so happy. I could not access the water shut off thingy, so was mopping up water until he arrived and he immediately shut off the water under the sink that goes to my fridge.

He let me know what was going to happen as far as services, and the expenses right up front, which was very nice. I think the fees are reasonable, and of good value. Even though the plumbing wasn't the leak issue, it gave me great peace of mind to have a plumber inspect and diagnose.

He did some inspecting and learned that the plumbing was OK to the fridge, but the water inlet valve on the fridge was not closing, causing the valve to leak. I have since called an appliance repair person to come to my place on Saturday!

He did his house inspection, which was a nice, found no serious issues, which was nice to know, too! Cody was very friendly, professional and patient with me. He explained things and didn't mind answering my questions. Oh yeah, he put a mat at my front door and wore booties in my house so it didn't get messy from his boots.

Overall, very happy with the service, and would use it again. Thanks Cody, great job.

I had such an amazing experience with The Gentleman Pro's! I was in a panic because I had no water and a cake order due. The receptionist really went out of her way to squeeze me into a short timeline and was very empathetic, professional, and friendly. Trevor showed up ahead of schedule, provided me with several options and explained them all to me. The pricing was very reasonable and exactly what he said it would be up front. He was fast, friendly, efficient, and even cleaned up after himself. Even the renovation team who is fixing up the rest of my house from the flood were impressed with the quality of his work. I highly recommend this Company.

I had him come before. The service was new, as in the last time he worked on two other toilets. He was very professional. This time he brought another team member that he worked with. This company was great to work with! I had been strung along by another company for 5 days changing my appointments. Not good when I can't use my kitchen sink or dishwasher. I was stuck looking for another plumber on the Friday night of a long weekend. Sage the appointment coordinator listened to my story and fit me in with an appointment ASAP, she was great. Cody arrived (4 hours earlier which was great) and fixed my problem in no time. The company was professional and did what they told me they would do. I would call them again for help, thank you.

The Gentlemen Pros replaced my furnace a few years ago, and I was so impressed with the quality of the service then that now they're the only plumbers I will ever call. Peter came today and fixed both my hot water tank and my toilet VERY quickly and efficiently. He was also super nice, as all the staff seem to be. Thank you!

Always on time and extremely good at cleaning up after they have completed a job, walk you through the costs and guarantee their price and work. Devin was extremely polite and left us with tips for preventative measures.
