This place saved my life and so many others.
I am forever grateful, and will never forget the beautiful compassion and deep personal understanding of exactly what (we) were going through.

You're all amazing, and so much more loved by your community then you will ever know.

Grateful for what this organization does but disappointed that they’re decreasing community member access by moving to the west side of the city. The current space is turning into some sort of building for police use.

Also, it’s very inhumane to me that they will not treat overdoses that occur in their parking lot and will do nothing but call the fire department. I’m very confused as to how someone in your parking lot isn’t still covered liability-wise.

I want to reiterate that I think the work you do is invaluable and that the staff are heroes. The government continuously tries to stop the operation of safe consumption sites and yet you still persist.

On the 10th on June 2022 I was robbed by three native individuals that had weapons. I had no chance against them and they were able to get all my personal property that I had at the time. The robbery was behind the Hope Mission. After I was robbed of all my things I went to the front doors to ask for police assistance. I was told that they would not place that call. So I ran across the street to the George Spady Centre to ask if they could place a call to the police. They to said that they would not make any call like that. I told them I had everything stolen from from me at the hands of 3 men with weapons. They said that they will still not call. I lost my keys my phone my clothes my food I got from the food bank my hat my personal shaver, cologne, my jacket and wallet and a back pack with more things not as important to mention.
This robbery will result in a few hundred dollars to replace and some of the things taken cannot be replaced.

Something to consider.

I couldnt stay there more thrn 3 hours, absolutely disgusting and filthy the beds are dirty and the toilets are just not something you wanna step into. This is the worst of the worst place you can ever end up.

Alot to share but still will hold for now and give time for improvement or insttution eliminate inequality factor that is showcased on staffing.

The hospice House they operate is a flop house they just dope up the patients and wait for them to pass.they Don't give a dam about cleaning, patients hygiene.if you ever find out a Loved one is in there get them out immediately!

Really nice people if shady environment but other than that I like the doctor I'm sure she could of help me wasn't too happy that I only got half my s*** back if anything other than that all good

If i could give this place o stars i would. The people they hire to work here is a complete joke! I've heard staff talking about clients badmouthing their situations and gossiping.very unprofessional! There are much better programs out there. Donating companies/businesses be aware donations do not go to those in need.very shady place.

This is a great place to start to rebuild your life if you, or someone you know is struggling with a addiction, this place helps people get connected and helps them to find the resources to build a life. I highly recommend this organization to anyone who is struggling to find the resources to elevate themselves to a position in life where they can heal themselves and recover from whatever ales that individual. Staff who work here are all about getting the clients help who are seeking help. I myself have used this service and I must say, without this place I don't know where I would be today. In saying that I have full circle. This is a none profit organization. With this organization there is a detox centre and a stabilization area after detox they help the individual by getting into treatment. I hope this is enough information of this place. May you find yourself within these walls! It was beacon of hope in my recovery time. I am forever greatful for this place.

I have good experience knowing the program manager he is one of those very humble people he is such a gentle man.

Landlords beware.

I have had 2 very problemed tenants and George Spady withdrew funding on the drop of a hat. No notice, no explanation, nothing.

I'm sure they're doing their best but unfortunately the individuals they house are serverely disenfranchised and "support" from George Spady means zero. As soon as you house these people, they are 100% your obligation and it will be a headache you sincerely regret.

Spent some time with a client there tonight. The staff there are very kind, compassionate and very thorough for safety. I feel confident leaving my client here. He’s in good hands.

Communication between staff is transparent without false promises. Persons are able to access a harm reduction model in a safe and dignified space.

I would like to preface this by saying I fully support the objectives and goals of an organization like this. However with that being said I would not recommend doing business and/or supplying the George Spady Society. As someone who interacted with the George Spady in a business sense I have to say that it is challenging to have a meaningful, straightforward and productive business relationship.

As someone who was hoping to assist with a marginalized person I felt that I was misled and the situation was set up for failure. If you have any thoughts of renting a property to one of their programs I suggest bringing a healthy sense of scepticism. Overall I would NOT recommend anyone from entering into a contract with the George Spady Society

As a landlord, don't do business with tenants that are supported by this organization. They do no hold up to there promises to help landlord with tenant problems, eviction and damages. You will be on your own.

The staff are very rude and disrespectful they make people in the Matt program sleep in pee and get it all over their boots. Roberto is very disrespectful to woman and makes them sleep in the hall near the drafty door. Fights often break out between violent males. People often have lice, scabies, and tuberculosis here. Outside the doors in the line white people are often violently attacked by natives. No help getting permanent housing is offered.
