The Granite Guys

We had the Granite Guys Install a new Quartz vanity top including the sink and hardware. The whole experience was great, from dealing with their salesperson Tammie to installers Mitchell and Darcy. Their contract plumber Jason with Low Cost Plumbing also did a good job installing the faucet and hooking the plumbing back up. We would recommend Granite Guys in a heart beat.

Brandon and Andres showed up on time. Did a very good job of replacing the kitchen countertop. Were friendly. A bit of adjustment that was needed was done another day very quickly. We were very happy with the final results.

I'm not a customer, but while I was out for a walk one of their vans was partially blocking the sidewalk while they unloaded. One of the employees kindly and respectfully apologized for the inconvenience. If all the customer service is similar, than definitely a top notch company.

We had a very good experience with Granite Guys. Specifically Rob, who helped us with quartz selection, working through any questions and design to make efficient use of the slabs. Jessi, was amazing to work the schedule to line up where we needed it, which I’m sure isn’t always possible but she worked her magic to get us there! Mitchell & Darcy were absolutely amazing with the install. They are more than excellent in what they do. Due to the size of our new island, we needed a seam and they connected it so well, that no one could figure out where it was. Finally, like many renos, we did have a hiccup, but Rob was on top of it right away and ironed out what was needed immediately. We are extremely pleased with our new countertops (kitchen and bathrooms). We’d definitely hire them again if we need anything else done in the future.

Insurance job so I don’t know cost but crew was awesome. From my untrained eye the reinstall of the counter was better than the original install by the original company. The crew let me pepper them with questions and educated me.

I contacted Rob to obtain a quote, he got back to me right away and assisted us with selections easily. Jessi was amazing for scheduling, she worked around our schedule but had it sorted quickly and efficiently. Our installers for the counter tops, under mount sink and backsplash, Kevin, Sam and David were all courteous, efficient, tidy and super easy going and did a fantastic job of the removal and install. They protected my appliances and flooring and explained everything. Very happy with the experience and I have beautiful kitchen that I am very pleased with.

We used these guys recently, the installers were so friendly and did a wonderful job installing the quartz top, sink and skirt.

Mitchell, Marius & David came to install our new beautiful countertops. They were very friendly and professional. We were worried about our two piece counter showing a visible seam but they did such a great job we couldn’t even tell. They are also very flexible. We wanted to change some sizing of our backsplash last minute, and they accommodated this change. Thank you for helping us get our dream kitchen!

Steer away from this company. All was great until I paid the deposit. Suddenly, they couldn’t do the job at the time we initially had agreed. I had to work my schedule around theirs.
Then, on the installation day, they came with the material I didn’t order. The salesperson- Tammy- insisted that it was what I had chosen. Additionally, it came in two pieces. Clearly looked to me like they were trying to get rid of their scraps at the end of the year- at my expense. And boy, they asked for what I thought it would cost an arm and a leg- but I didn’t protest thinking they had great reviews so probably were worth the price! Couldn’t be more wrong!
Next, when I requested the owner’s contact info, the salesperson ignored me for a few days pretending she did not receive my emails. Finally, after a few days, I was given the owner’s email. He wasn’t any better than the rest of the team! First, he responded by suggesting I call him at the time he suggested. When I did, I spoke to
…the answering machine. The next day he emailed me and asked to call him again. We talked and I was told everything was my fault. He suggested, though, that they would do the job again after I chose the material again. I did.
Thought the matter would finally be solved after my kitchen had been a mess and non functional for a few weeks. But then, the owner -who most likely has relied his reputation on his father and grandfather’ s great work in the past- told me I would need to pay the whole amount upfront before they came again. (? !) Can you believe it? ! Considering my overall experience before then? ! Of course I refused! In the end, they refunded my deposit minus $300 (yes- you read it right- three hundred dollars!) because, apparently, it was all my fault! So steer away from this company. All's good until their salesperson makes a mistake. Then- you will have to pay for that mistake from your own pocket.

I am very happy with my overall experience with Granite Guys. Their cost, selection, adherence to schedule and overall experience was definitely positive. I wanted to mention how impressed I was with the service after the sale though. There were a couple of minor things after installation that my OCD couldn't handle and in both instances, without question or hesitation, Jessi sent someone out to help and resolve the matter. In both instances both service guys were extremely professional and courteous. This provides a comforting feeling know they stand behind their work and are there to help!

The entire process was so great- from getting a quote from Rob (which was really well priced- Costco was quoting the same job for 40% more) and the delivery and installation. We had a contractor to do a bathroom reno and of course it expanded into other areas of the house. The contractor was to install countertops to two vanities.
I went to the contractor supplier and choose the countertops. Soon I was advised the countertops were going to be significantly more money than the contractor quote. The lines of communication were deteriorating.
I convinced my wife to go the The Granite Guys to look at some quartz. Felipe helped us look through the variety of tops in the remnant section.
From the time my wife choose her selections, the countertops were installed within two weeks. The installers were very friendly and personable. The line of communication with the Granite Guys was very good. As a customer I was updated via email and staff were always helpful by phone if I had a question.
We plan to do a kitchen reno next year and there is no question, the Granite Guys will be our first choice for countertops.

We had another company install quartz counters and the quality of install and seams were terrible. We decided to change the Quartz installer to Granite Guys. The whole process was smooth and efficient, all the staff we dealt with were wonderful and they met our extremely tight deadline. The installers were wonderful and the quality of the work really left us speechless. We had one seam and they had to point it out or I would never have found it! It has transformed our kitchen and I would highly recommend working with them.

Rob Henderson started with us in the office/showroom. Such a wonderful person! He understood what I wanted and led me to the most beautiful quartz I've ever seen in my life (Lusso). He was with so kind and so honest! Called me with any questions and answered every call from me.

David came today to install the backslash. What a beautiful soul! So upbeat friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure we were completely happy before leaving.

Rob picked out my fireplace surround for me! I couldn't go see it, so I had to send my husband and Rob took the hubby to the pieces he knew I would like. In the end, Rob picked it out and I LOVE IT.

Prices are reasonable. I expected more actually.

We recently had our kitchen counters redone by The Granite Guys as well as two bathroom vanities. We could not be happier with the result and the entire process which really did not take that long start to finish. From the moment I walked in the showroom to the follow up after completion the team looked after everything.
This was the first time I have renovated a place and being new to Calgary didn't have anyone to ask where to go. I went through the reviews for a lot of companies before deciding to check out Granite Guys while getting my car inspected.
Lauren helped me in the showroom, listened to what I was looking for and budget I wanted to work within. I felt zero sales pressure to go above where I felt comfortable and there were plenty of option in my price range. This is not my "forever place" so I didn't want to go top end but the job looks top end now!
Once I was happy with the quote and every cost was explained the rest of the process was quick and professional
Fernando came out to do detail measurements (using lasers for accuracy) as well as measured the elevator and let me know that the long counter would have to be cut to get it in the elevator. As well, he explained the process for joining it back.
Dave and his team came and did the install, which was quick and clean! Everything fit perfectly and you cannot tell where the join is on the long piece. I had kitchen counters, an island and two bathroom counter replaced. Dave stayed late as well to make sure that the job was completed to perfection. The only small communication issues was since I was a late afternoon install, the plumber wasn't scheduled until the next morning, they forgot to explain that the day before. Not a big deal and there was a follow up apologizing for the lapse in communication that next morning.
Finally, even the plumber was excellent and fixed some previous amateur from the previous owner.

Overall, the level of service and the finish product was excellent. Like I said this isn't my "forever" home and I will be using the Granite Guys for my next place for sure!

Really happy with the quartz on our central island. Good selection and the installers did an excellent work.

The Granite Guys did a great job installing the countertops shown in the picture below. We had a small problem with the positioning of the faucet and they came right back to fix that issue. I highly recommend them for all your countertop needs.

We had a great salesperson Tammie. We ended up having an issue and it was resolved in a very fair manner They have beautiful options. I wish I could have picked several of them.

After an unpleasant experience with another stone company, I turned to The Granite Guys to see if they could help me complete my bathroom reno job with product from their remnant supply. I needed a pretty decent amount of product with two 5 foot vanities and a 3 foot vanity. Tammie didn’t hesitate to help me with this task and led me into the yard and pointed out her recommendations based on my other elements in the rooms. It was so quick and easy and she turned around a quote immediately, and despite how busy they are, she got me scheduled for templating and installation way quicker than I had expected. She was so pleasant to deal with and the installation was quick and things fit perfectly and it looks amazing. Granite guys turned a stressful part of this reno into my favourite part. Can’t say enough good things about me experience with them.

Very impressed with the work from the Granite Guys. From my in first email requesting a quote to the time of install everything was perfect! Our countertops look AMAZING. I'm looking for the seam and it reminds me of the scene from Christmas Vacation- "cant see the line can ya Russ" because they did that perfect of a job!

The Granite Guys have installed stone countertops in 2 locations for me and in both cases have done an excellent job. They are professional, helpful and above all very accommodating! Would highly recommend them!

Very easy to deal with, we live in Cochrane and the whole process with The Granite Guys was seamless. From choosing the granite and quartz, they were very organized, great attention to detail, respected my families safety by wearing masks and I would highly recommend.

Granite guys did a really nice work with my bath countertops. Great options in price and service was nice too.

I wished I could give them zero stars. Very unprofessional. Stay away! They have messed up the look of our whole kitchen. One part of their bad job is our fault (we didn't see they sneaked in a seam in the contract in a very shady way). We take full responsibility of that (even though they did it very unfair). We have been waiting for a quote for a new slab for over 3 MONTHS! We have got 1 email which wasn't helpful at all (we refuse to let them in to our house until we have a quote and a plan of action). 10K + thrown in the lake. We now have a missing shim, crooked cabinet sides and a VERY UGLY seam straight down our island. We love supporting local and this is the first time we have to deal with a company doing such an awful job and service in Calgary.

We had kitchen and bathroom vanity quartz countertops installed by the granite guys. Their prices were awesome. We got amazing personalized service. As we do not live locally, but our sales associate went the extra mile to ensure we were able to make an informed choice on our countertops. The staff that did the templating and installation were great as well. They were efficient, professional, knowledgeable and did and really excellent job! I would definitely recommend the Granite Guys!

I went in knowing what I wanted and a reception lady assigned to me a sales staff member Tammie who took me in the right direction and found the right stone slab for my needs, measured, quoted and finalized my order very efficiently. I was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of my experience. I'm a Realtor and renovation consultant. Being busy, I appreciated being assisted to make a good choice. The ladies at Granite Guys really stand out. ;)

The only suggestion we have would be to make it easier to sort products in the showroom for specific price points. We would use them again. 4 1/2 stars.

What a pleasure it is dealing with professionals. From the showroom visit thru measurement and installation, I have only great things to say about the team from Granite Guys. The process was on schedule and on budget and the installation crew were first rate.
I would like to particularly acknowledge the tiler who did the backsplash, Jeff. His communications were timely and clear and he arrived on schedule. More importantly he brought an eye for design and style that was unanticipated. His contributions to this project go above and beyond.

Had the Granite Guys install my counter 15 years ago and today I needed the existing cooktop cut out to be enlarged. I can recommend this company time and time again. Absolute professionalism from the first call to finished product. There was not a speck of dust in my kitchen, the fellows came well prepared with equipment and vacuums. Very well deserved 5 stars.

Going through a renovation and ended up with the Granite Guys for counter top. Felipe was very professional and exceptionally responsive when i was getting quotes. Based on value ended up with the granite guys. Setup the schedule for templating, me selecting the cut layouts on the slab and installation to fit with the other vendors. The team was punctual on all three ocassions. The crew was professional curtiuos, tidy and clean.
I would definately recommend going with the Granite guys for your counter tops, dependible, predictable and good value.

I just called this morning asking if someone brings in some granite of their own and needed a cut to be done out of it, do they do it? ; the response was yes but no as their blade was broken. I had asked again if generally if they do it, and again it was yes but no. Been laughed at the same time, such an amazing customer service! I am also putting the same review on homestars. Best word of advertisement is with the word of the mouth!

Also, we had submitted an email requesting for the same info and never heard back.

We had counters installed a few weeks ago. The work itself was good however the customer service representative experience with Amanda was awful.

When the guys installed the counters the work itself was not completely finished but they asked me to sign a sheet that it was- they said I could call or email the next day and the company would take care of it (it needed to be grouted or sealed). I signed it- first mistake. I emailed Amanda the next day to schedule an appointment to have it sealed (this was included in the original cost). She said we would be charged a few hundred for a return visit. I asked to speak to the manager and she would give very little info (one word answers etc) and at one point stated I would just have to wait and there was no other information that she could give me. She said she had already spoken with the manager (Niel) and that he stated he could give me a slight discount on the return fee but that he was making an exception and I would still need to pay- again this is after it was originally included in the original price and we just dropped over $5000.00. She stated the reason was that it would require the guys coming off of a job to come and seal it- however in a previous email I had indicated my schedule was very flexible in terms of scheduling the sealing. Even prior to this experience she was a bit `snarky` for lack of better words- if you ask questions you are made to feel as though you are bothering her- and increasingly difficult to deal with once we were upset after the signing of the paper issue.

In the end, the work was completed and the guys did a great job however the customer service rep was so very difficult and made it so stressful that for that reason alone I would not recommend the company.

I called the Granite Guys to come out and fix my under-mount kitchen sink that was starting to detach. The sink was installed in 2010. The repair was not a problem for them. Despite a mess of plumbing and a garburator, they were able to clean off the old adhesive, reinstall the sink with silicone, and install strapping and blocks to support the sink - all without the need and expense of calling a plumber. They did a excellent job of the repair and better yet - did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. Josh and Christian even went above and beyond and installed blocking on an under-mount bathroom sink just installed this year by another contractor. Thank you guys! I would highly recommend the Granite Guys.
