The customer service center of this place is extremely poor but no supervisors or managers. The staff in the customer service center are not good. When I and my civil engineer was asking an enquiry, there was a staff in the customer service showing a tough attitude. When we realized that, we told her that this was our plan to take the materials to the work site since their vehicle rental department was about to close soon and also asked her opinion by explaining our situation. When she continued her attitude, I asked her, “DO YOU HAVE ANY BETTER PLAN TO SUGGEST? ”She said NO
On top of that, when we left from there, she was laughing loudly at us by saying something to her co-worker who was next to her. THERE WAS AN EXCELLENT SUPERVISOR/ MANAGER WHO HELPED US LATER.

Despite their system, and the website saying they had a few camera in stock. The attendant at the self checkout wouldn't get me one. She pulled up other stores and suggested I went to another location. Left my cart at checkout and went to another location ‍️

Not a fan of how this location treats contractors

Usually at other Home Depot you are approached by associates to see if you need help.this wasn't the case here. Fend for yourself.

Today I went to Beacon Hill Home Depot and spoke with Diego (I believe). I went to order 1 gallon of tinted Marque paint, they did not have the medium base I needed. I asked if they had 4 quarts and if they would match the price of the gallon. Diego said they would match the price but they only had 3 in stock. He found me 4 quarts at the Country Hills store. He called to confirm and had them hold them for me. I travelled back to the Country Hills store and had them tint to my color. I asked the paint manager if the would match the gallon price and she replied ‘no’. I took the 4 quart cans to the check out and was shocked to realize that they were $28.47 each where a gallon was $64.97. This purchase was going to cost $121.67, almost double what the gallon would cost. I asked to speak with a manager but was told they were not available and were all on holidays. They offered to bring in a supervisor. Guess who comes over, that’s right the same gal that already told me she would not match the price. I explained Diego said they would have matched the price her response was ‘ they can’t tell us what to do’. What the heck is that supposed to mean. Isn’t Home Depot a chain? Shouldn’t they all do the same? Bottom line is I was shopping for 1 gallon, they couldn’t supply so we substituted for 4 quarts. I will NEVER step foot in this Home Depot again and would encourage you customers to think twice. They do NOT treat their customers fairly in my opinion.

I went to return product that I bought from another location and was told by Dimple & Neetu that if I buy from another store I should be returning to same location because they can't take hit but according to Home Depot policy you can return item with receipt to any other home depot lcoation.they lied to me about this and it is very wrong representation of Home depot brand by these people. The product I bought was return and missing parts and I spent money on something that I can't use and Dimple was telling me that why I did not check the box before buying it well this is your job because as a customer I would think everything on shelf is in good condition.

Good store, parking lot is a bit smaller than normal, so can fill up when busy. They had my flooring in stock, most importantly!

Worst Home Depot I could have gone to the people didn't care the people didn't want to help us the checkout lady was flustered could not handle anything nobody wanted to help everyone was more concerned about breaks and Break time then helping the public

I am new to Calgary and have been to this Home Depot a few times in the last week and a half. Most of the time I go in, find what I need and leave but today my wife and I required assistance in purchasing a lawnmower as the model we wanted to purchase required a forklift to be taken down from overstock. We had just had a bad experience at Canadian Tire trying to purchase one so we went into The Home Depot hoping for better. While we did have to wait quite a while to get the box with the lawnmower down, the staff that did help us were great and I know that one even stayed after her shift was supposed to have been over just to help us. We were able to buy the lawnmower we wanted and even got a discount of $30 due to the damaged box and presumably for the delay. Regardless, it is safe to say that I will continue to purchase here, where I was able to buy a quality product at a fair price.

I just went to the store looking for a nail gun that they suppose to have because from another store tells me that here they have one the person who was helping me checks her machine and said we have one but probably we don't have why you don't call the others stores and ask if the have then ask for hold it for you, really thanks for your help

Helpful staff, easy returns when needed, and organized location. Easy to check in to see what is in stock. Curbside pickup is consistently an easy experience, and if you check to see which stores have what you need in stock, you can save some time. When an item is in stock, I have usually gotten the email the next day.

I have had trouble with purolator shipping, so I would caution against shipping to home unless you have had a different experience with purolator.

I go back because they have what I need. They also seem to anticipate what will work for me and offer incentives to get me coming back. I like that!

This is a terrible store. You can hardly get any employees to assist; the only employee willing to assist is Misghana in the paint section, others were no where to be found. Not recommended.

I want to give a huge shout out to Alim! He was super friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. He was able to help me pick out some plywood and hardboard pieces for my project, he also cut some pieces out for me to fit easier in my car. My project turned out extremely well and I'd like to thank Alim for his advice and help.

The paint department was pretty busy at 11 am, about a 6 person line up. Was out of there with a gallon of paint within 15 minutes. They have a very efficient system to get you in and out with what you need. The staff are at a non stop pace and are really good at what they do.

I pre-ordered/paid & was sent an email confirming the order but due to the volume of online orders it would be delayed. They said I would receive a new email once it had been picked.
I recieved a new email confirming the order was picked so off to the store with the children (single parent). Upon arrival, I clicked the link in the email for curbside pickup & once again was told there was a delay. After waiting 20 minutes in the vehicle, an employee finally brought out my purchase (I wished it had ended there because I wasn't even upset).
It turned out that their scanner wasn't working & In order for them to release my already paid for merchandise, I would have to join them inside ‍️. Now at this point I'm frustrated because I have to take all 3 children out of car seats (they don't like being in them to begin with), walk into the store (which I was trying to avoid entering), carry out my products (hoping to avoid labor) just to put the children back into the car seats again.
So tell me again how curbside is supposed to work?

Reasonable store, terrible egress. No left turn light to get out of shopping area. Be prepared for multiple light changes.

Excellent experience yesterday (Saturday May 29th, 2021) I went to this store to buy a pressure washer. Looked everywhere but was not able to find it. Then Hailey helped me find it. It was actually stacked on top shelves and with her diligence she was able to get it down. Wanted to thank Hailey for her customer service! Thank you

Very inconvenienced by this location. Did store pickup on two cans of paint, and they weren't mixed in my color selection. They told me the color mix does not show up on the order. So why offer a service if it doesn't work! Really inconvenient. Don't bother doing store pick-up on paint at Home Depot.

As usual there is virtually no help whatsoever. I also see that they are no longer stocking select grade lumber it is all second grade. Only had to go through 60 pieces of 2x4 to get 10 reasonably straight ones. Pathetic selection.

Some staff were nice but the lady in the paint section are rude and not willing to help customer.

Every employee I talked to was kind, super helpful, and great with interacting interacting my young kids. Not only was it well cleaned, with great selection, but organized to the nines. I'll be coming back here for my home improvement needs!

In and out with no issues. Products where as easy to find as you would expect from a department store. No line, no harassment. Everyone stayed away from me for the most part.

I don't expect amazing customer service from a big box chain store, however, after spending 45 minutes on hold (at 10: 30 am on a Wednesday) I went to the store to try to get someone to help me. I could not find anyone on the floor to help me and even after I asked a cashier to page someone for me nobody came.

I wasted my entire morning trying to ask a simple question. I'm not sure why I tried so hard to shop here but I sure wont make that mistake again!

I purchased a Broil-Mate BBQ from this location and Darcy was great and very knowledgeable during my purchase.

When I brought it home and opened the box 1.5 weeks later to build it, I noticed every single box inside was torn apart and already open. I didn't know I was being sold an "open box" item. The outside looked taped off nicely. I found out I was missing several parts so I was unable to build my barbecue that night.

I called the store and spoke with Carson and Ryan and they knew very little about barbecue's. I was told that I'd have to bring my barbecue back in for return/exchange, after I carried it up an entire flight of stairs into my narrow town home. I requested for them to open a new barbecue to get those screws and bolts for me and gave them the serial number of those parts missing. It surprises me that Darcy is the ONLY person in the WHOLE ENTIRE store that knows about barbecue's. I tried to speak with the manager, Terry, but he didn't have the time to speak with me. He had no knowledge about BBQ's and didn't even try to rectify this situation. I called at 5: 30PM last night and was told I'd get a call back. I didn't receive a call, so I called again 2.5 hours later and found out I wasn't going to get a call until Darcy was working the next morning. I called the next morning at 9: 30AM and spoke to Rylan. He could've been nicer on the phone as he responded to me with "no you spoke to Ryan last night but how can I help you" with a condescending tone. I was told Darcy doesn't work until 2PM and no one in the entire store knows where this barbecue is located except for Darcy. If someone wanted to buy a barbecue, are you telling me no one can buy barbecues until Darcy is in? Or is no one locating this barbecue for me because its a customer issue and you're not making any profit out of a customer issue? This store is extremely uncaring and I've tried TWICE to speak with TERRY, the manager, but he has failed to call me back to rectify this situation and the store has failed to even TRY to look for the missing parts.

I shouldn't have to call the store 3+ times to get this issue resolved. IT'S STILL NOT RESOLVED.

WHATS THE POINT OF ASKING QUESTIONS IF THE STORE ISN'T GOING TO ANSWER? HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO CALL IN AND NOT BE PUT ON HOLD FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME? CAN'T WASTE MY TIME SITTING ON THE PHONE OR RUNNING FROM STORE TO STORE.

We had a positive experience at this Home Depot location, although it was a very brief visit. We were desperately looking for a small room heater and we only found at this location with a very reasonable price. This store is same as other Home Depots. It was pretty nice and clean, and organized as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

I use Home Depot a lot and this location was been the worst service I have had yet. The girl helping had what seemed like NO training for that department. Then he make helper came back from break and just seemed annoyed that people where waiting. Then as he walk all you seen was his pant hanging pass his but and red underwear. Thought there was some sort of dress code.

Couple younger ladies in the paint department who haven’t a clue about paints, finishes or any type of home project. Answered questions with “i think” and “oh it shouldnt do this/that” which lead me having to sand down and restart my project not only once but TWICE! Suggesting a clear coat that caused the paint on my furniture to bubble. Thought I could trust employees working in this department to be knowledgeable. Thanks for wasting my time and money ladies! Time to re hire or properly train.

Everytime I get Craig in returns he hassles me, returns are suppose to be flexible and hassle free within 90 days with proof of purchase or home depot card, I would like the polite asian women back in this customer service position, she was helpful and polite. Your policy literally says flexible and hassle free Craig. Stop hassling me and process the return! After reviewing the return policy and talking to home depot Canada I decided to call the store and asked to speak to a manager, a gentleman named Darcy took the call, I cannot believe he actually told me that they have to dispose of returned items that are not in the original box, this is completely untrue since the vendor who supplies the items to home depot is responsible for returns, I called him out on it and he strait up admitted to me that he just lied, I am not joking or exaggerating the least bit. I do not know what is happening with this store location but within the last couple months it has gotten significantly worse. I have started avoiding it all together and stock up at the Sarcee trail location. Stop hassling me Craig!

No one that works here ever seems to have a clue when I ask a question they just send me to the next staff member then the next.
