The staff member assisting me was absolutely useless, couldn't be bothered to ACTUALLY look for an item, was told the last item in stock was probably stolen or lost. Told me to check a different location. Very disappointing.

Service was not as bad as days before, few staff sees you but don't offer help you need to approach them.
Sure more people don't bother to ask for help if they don't see items they are looking for they just go elsewhere.

I ordered a Ryobi lawn mower online through Home Depot, Rocky View Calgary and was sent to the shipping company
Day and Ross.
The shipping company lost my lawn mower.
The kind Manager at Home Depot in Edmonton replaced the cheaper Ryobi mower with a more expensive mower for the same cheaper price.
Home Depot is my wife and I's our favorite store.

Aggressively unhelpful staff. Will interrupt you and block the aisle so they can make themselves feel like they're working/helping. A few staff are actually trying to be helpful, but anytime I've let one of the floor people help me it always turns into a 15-30 minute adventure of them trying to make up a solution to something they don't know much about. They usually blame it on someone/something else in the end when they can't figure it out, and I go and take care of it myself after having my time wasted. Feels weird having to tell staff where products are in the store they were just trying to tell me don't exist, or won't work for a particular job (they always do), but not all of my hope in humanity has been destroyed yet so I'll keep trying. A couple more visits might do it though.

Went to Home Depot, you know, the place where “Doers get more done” I stopped in the electrical department. After a couple of minutes, I found a LED transformer that was rated for 24w.
The LED strip lights that I have are rated for 2w each. By my figuring, the four sets of lights should draw 8w, leaving me comfortably under the 24w but allowing for more should I want.
I thought it would be prudent, to find a Home Depot employee working the electrical side to run my theory. Well, I found the “expert” who after a fair amount of waffling said “err, to be honest, I don’t know”
Well that just isn’t “How doers get more done”

Took my mom there to get some screws and had the BEST custmer service I have ever had from any home depot or any other kind of hardwear store. A very knowledgeable and pleasant dark haired girl named Lexi went above and beond to get us what my mom needed-This girl deserves a raise!

Great selection of hardware materials. The attendants were accommodating and helpful. Not as big compared to the Skyview and Terra Losa locations. There might be items they don't have but will be available in other locations and they can always refer you to them.

Very rude, at self check out I wasn't dressed "properly" I just had gotten of work and they treated me like I wasn't paying for my items and this wasn't the only time I felt this way at this location

People on charge of kitchen section are always away of their desks, customer service can not help with appliance warranty but they said kitchen office would help, however they were not at the desks, only a big line-up of customers waiting for them.

Well, I'd like to get the last 20 minutes of my life back waiting to have lumber cut, for an associate who never came. Yes, it was 8: 30 when I rolled into the store, and went directly to lumber to select two 2x4x8's and immediately asked an associate for a cut. They say sure they'll call a person, but no one comes.

I see about 9 employees standing around the cash registers, intermittently looking back, and still no one comes. I needed four cuts. Simple.

I was left standing for 20 minutes, with not even one associate who passed me by, checking to see if I needed assistance.

Used to enjoy coming to this store, but I guess I'll be going elsewhere now.

I'd rather travel for decent service anyways.

This Home Depot is just like all other Home Depots I've been to (although it's not their largest format, other stores have more selection). COVID protocols are on-point, and there's plenty of staff to give you a hand if you need it.

We have an apartment building in Oliver and periodically need new apt stoves or fridges and have dealt with Martha many times. She is efficient, knows her job and the product and most of all is a pleasure to deal with. One time we dealt with a special appliance store in west edm and they delivered damage goods and this has never happened with Home Depot - Martha is a gem and lovely to deal with and she always remembers us. I highly recommend Home Depot for appliances and Martha for great service.

Not impressed with the service at this store. Waited forever for someone to help me, when I walked up to a staff member he turned around and walked away. I chased him down and said I needed some items that were in the upper rafters. He said he'd find someone else to help me and took five minutes to find someone who then told me that he also had to find someone to help with that. 10 minutes later he finally returned with someone and the forklift. I'm also unimpressed with the website / mobile app. The inventory was way out and I had to stop at two stores to get the quantity of items I wanted. I needed a total of 9 so I went to the first store that said they had 3 (Westmount) and bought all 3, then to south Edmonton Common that said they have 6 in stock. The South Edmonton Common store actually had 12 in stock so I could have just gone there and saved myself time and travel to two different stores.

I’ve never been treated so poorly whenever calling Home Depot. Today I called to be but on hold for 15 mins which is fine, because I understand how some places can be busy. But for an employee to answer the phone and say, and I quote “thanks for calling Home Depot but we close in one minute”
And then to hang up on me. Was something of an ignorant thing to do. Thanks Home Depot employee. I really appreciate the great customer service.:)

Walked into the store entrance and was chewed out by an employee. I apparently walked through the exit side instead of the entrance side. No one was there and the signage is poor at best. The young lady with dark hair read me the riot act and was insanely condescending when no one was around and I didn't break social distance because no other customers were around. Extremely unacceptable, that "power" has definitely gone to her head, hate to see what she's like if she has a bad day.

What a horrible business. They do not care about anything other then themselves. Constantly blocking the walkway with vehicles or carts. People smoking right outside the doors and no choice but to walk by them. At night they shut down the parking lot to offload trucks. Use the back entrance. So incredibly inconsiderate. Will not shop here anymore and tell friend and family to go anywhere else

Unhelpful workers seem to know nothing about what is in the store. The location doesn't seem to have any of the things I look for and comparatively to the competitors it is severely lacking in sanitation and price points.

So after calling the store to confirm that they had the item we were interested in, and being told they had 2 in stock, I drove all the way down from Barrhead (2.5 hours return), to find none on the shelf. Asked one of the sales reps. "Yes sir, we should have 2 in stock". 30 minutes later, "it must have been a liquidation item and has been discontinued". Worst retail chain in the running to be the next Sears.

Hesitant to use in house "3D Consulting" for design/decorating. We put in an order for blind in September, they have come the wrong colour twice, and currently waiting on a third attempt. The second time the blinds were ordered they took longer to arrive than the first. The staff in store have been very helpful, but once you use the decorator they lose nearly all control over anything. Entire process is messed, when the blinds arrive they have little to no information on them, not even the colour, so hard to confirm proper delivery unless you have a sample, they are having a lot of trouble getting an ETA on what is supposed to be a rush order. Store had made some overtures to make amends, which we were happy with, but the consultants overrode those decisions to try one more time. We're hoping for quick resolution, but are not holding our breath.

Will update upon conclusion.

Got very annoyed tonight. Bought a drill/impact set on Friday. Go back today, Monday, because the charger didn't work. Brought my receipt with me and the charger assuming they could just swap it. Much to my dismay I was told that they could not swap it unless I brought the entire set back.
Someone explain the logic there to me please. Im going to go back to my shop, get the drill and impact and bag, then go home and get the box, then drive back to the store so they can replace the entire thing even though the bag and two tools themselves were fine just so they can then package it all up and send it back. Why could they not just remove the charger from one of the sets on the shelf (which they had in stock) and put the bad charger in that and send it back instead of me having to get all the pieces I have so they can send all those back to give me new ones. Im sure the employees were just following the policies put in place but how about using some common sense and logic instead of wasting my time.

I went there to swap out a cartridge on a dripping kitchen faucet and was helped out by Chris and Riley. These guys were the best! They saved me lots of time and money with thier help and were great all round. Top notch service; this is my new hardware store.

I bought a freezer I was told it would take one week I ended up waiting a whole month to be told they have to take it back to the warehouse? I called costumer service and they couldn’t tell me what’s going on. Seems like they have to set up communication between the delivery people. Disappointed as I need it ASAP.
