Great service in this store. I used to go to a competition store across the road but got sick of the poor service.

We picked the washer/dryer we wanted, went to store in Spruce Grove, ONE person looking after that dept? While tons of other employees milled around, seemingly doing nothing? We waited for 45 minutes, still no help, left to go to Trail Appliance

We recently purchased a dish washer. When it was hooked up we discovered the water float was missing. The staff went above and beyond to help me solve the problem. They were absolutely incredible.

Great selection for this city. But it can be hard to find things. Generally find plenty of helpful staff at checkout area, even self checkout. But staff around the store can be hard to get. Either don't see them or they are already busy with someone else.

Booked carpet install for when new home was being inspected, no one showed. Staff blamed “a new system “. Now booking needs to be negotiated between two realtors and family currently in the home. Wow

Was going to use Home Depot for a small Reno Project. The Contractor finally got a hold of me after a few days, set up an appointment for a Quote and pulled a no show. No Phone call no nothing. Thanks Home Depot.

Not bad, you got to know your prices and product there. I love their tool selection. Lots to choose from.

Everything that you need to improve your house.
Also they have seasonal products. Like decorations for Halloween.
Now that the price of energy is going -literally- to the roof. I'm searching for options to save money in my electricity and gas bill. Like changing all the bulbs for energy saver ones.

Great place to come for any of your home needs! Huge selection of tools and parts for just about any project. The staff here are super friendly and they are dog friendly!

The 2 people that checked me through were funny and I had a great time buying shower gifts for my daughter. The young girl was sweet and knowledgeable. The older gent was a stone cold hottie with classic Hollywood good looks.

I'm doing reno work for my elderly parent. I usually do all the HD shopping.
I bought one of an item, but ended up needing a 2nd. Left the empty package with my mother.
She decided to go for the item. She does not shop HD. She asked where the item was while at the store. She was pointed in a direction. Yup. Employees standing about were unwilling to help an 80 year old by walking her to the actual product hidden in the hardware section. And then they got annoyed because she didn't know how to use the self checkout.
Fail, Spruce Grove, fail!

To all the helpfull staff, thank you for being patient and still smiling with all of the some nice and some not so nice people.

It's my first choice for anything home improvement not just because of the selection but also because of the friendly staff.

Great place to find the FYI material or the tools you need to use or possibly rent to get your project completed.

Came in yesterday to get siding matched and had a very informative lady suggest I bring a sample in vs just going by a picture (fully agree). She informed me she was in today and we could get it done. Came in today and Wendy at the pro desk giggled when I said I wanted to match it and tells me to go look at what's in stock but probably won't have what I need. I I formed her I knew you wouldn't hence why I'm here to match with the samples they had on hand. She took a minute then says she doesn't know where they are and the lady I spoke with was on coffee break. Asked when I could come back and the answer wasn't a few minutes or something reasonable just told me to come during the week sometime. So safe to say I won't be back and will find a company that would like to do business and help figure out and make an order. Thanks for nothing.

Absolutely abysmal delivery. I’ve bought from here several times, each time purchasing the delivery and take away of old appliances. Twice now they have screwed up the delivery, first by not doing an install they are supposed to, now yesterday/today they didn’t take away the old appliance. Calls to the store are frustrating, seems like the person in appliances is always to busy to either take or return calls despite messages being left. Customer service just says nothing they can do.

I’ve tried to purchase locally, however I get much better service from coast wholesale appliances. I guess I know where I’m going to go back to.

Home Depot reached out to me and made the situation right. I am glad to hear they are listening to their customers and working to improve when things go wrong. For that reason I am upgrading my review from 1 star to 3 stars. The rep that corrected this was helpful, friendly, quick, and courteous.

Phoned customer service to ask if they had a 5 tool combo kit. They said yes. I asked if they would honour a blow out price advertised at another home Depot because they didn't have any left. They said yes. I asked what I needed for proof and they said take a picture. I asked if that was all. They said yes. I told them it was a long drive and I wanted to be sure they had the item and would honour the deal before I left. They confirmed no problem. When I arrived and brought the purchase to customer service very happy I was going to get new tools I was treated like pond scum. I asked what the problem was and they said they could not honour the price if the other store didn't have stock. If they had stock I would have bought it there. I would not have driven an hour and a half round trip to find it at another store and reminded them that is why I called to confirm stock, price, and policy first. I recieved a very sour "sorry nothing I can do. " I asked to see a manager and was shocked to find out the lady standing nearby eavesdropping was the manager. She turned out to be quite the treat to deal with as well. I left empty handed and upset. Management needs to put some effort into training the staff at this location. Policy knowledge and customer service skills could have taken care of this issue over the phone. They don't know store policy and definately can't provide any respectable level of customer service. Not what I am used to from Home Depot. When they figured out they made a mistake they made it my problem. Weak and pathetic.
Take your business somewhere that understands customer service and knows how to do their job in a professional manner. I would suggest 17th Street Home Depot in Edmonton. They have it figured out.

The staff are always so helpful, every time! Everyone seems to be super knowledgeable of where everything is I the store, even if it's not their department.

Standing right now at customer service. I've been here for 30 minutes trying to return an online order. Nobody can figure it out.

Great service and prices. I drove 2 hours for a replacement hot water tank and the cost savings, was greeted by a nice lady that pointed me to right right section of the store and she paiged someone to come help me. A gentleman named Ed helped me find everything I needed including the easier and quicker way to replace tank (plumbing changed a bit since I used to work with it 20 years ago). Point being, I saved time and money because of Ed's knowledge, would have been double the cost at my local supplier. Another gent naked Joe helped me load the tank and I was back on way home in less than 30. Thanks Ed and Joe.

I have received the absolute worst service from Home Depot. I placed an order March 22/21. Only part of the order was received when I went to pick it up in mid April. I asked where the remaining piece was, and was told my concern would be escalated by Home Depot and I would get a call within two business days. 7 days later I got an Email saying it would be shipped with a delivery date of May 7th. The following day I got a call to advise me that my missing item was estimated to arrive May7th. I said thanks but I already got an email telling me that, and that I was promised this call five days earlier. She didn't even apologize for the lack of service. Then I receive an email advising me that my missing item has been shipped on April 30th from Ontario, Canada to Alberta, Canada. Then On May 7th I receive an email saying my purchase is available for pickup at the store in Spruce Grove, AB. I call the store on May 8th to verify its arrival as I have a one hour drive to get it, and they check everywhere, and its not there. I am then told if its not there by Monday, they will escalate it, and I should hear from someone within two business days. I said thanks. I went online to contact customer service. Used the text messaging feature and virtual chat, and after three hours, I have received the same information. No further help, but asked the Customer service Rep to let the CEO know just really how bad the use of virtual agents is. That I understand why more people choose to shop online. It's time to stop blaming Covid for the neglect of customers. Don't promise what you cannot deliver. Nothing personal to the employees who tried to help, they don't have the proper training, the resources, the support of management, or the Corporation they work for, or the proper answers. Online their website says you might have to wait an hour online for an answer, and for me it was three. I might get the balance of my order, placed on March 22nd, by May 15th. If I would have known that when I ordered, i would have looked elsewhere. At least Amazon gives you estimated delivery dates and for the most part, they are excellent with dates, and the stores or retailers they deal with provide apologies, contacts by email when there are delays, and further incentives to wait. Home Depot you need to step up your game or get out.

A quick trip in to get a couple of basic tools for my daughter. Staff member was very helpful in recommending and retrieving a socket set for me.

Went I. To buy a bbq, came out empty handed. Ended up going to Rona. The customer service has diminished so badly over the last 20yrs and is progressively getting worse. I really don’t know what else to say about that place. It’s terrible.

Met a man called Tom in the barbeque section of the store and he was a wonderful associate. Very helpful, kind and informative!

Had a couple issues this year and Manager Judy was extremely helpful. If one team member can't help you, ask for someone else that understands you better, there is always a solution!

I had to get a new drain assembly for my kitchen sink. The store is laid out well and staff were eager to provide me any assistance that I required.

Many of the staff hadn't even bothered to look at me. They were friendly with other customers but I had glaced at a few of them and they immediately looked away of at their phones. One older gentleman in the plumbing had done this. I went out of my way to ask him how his day was. He answered but didn't bother asking back and went back to his phone screen.

Went there today to buy a light fixture. The one I wanted required a special light switch. On the box it said to check the Home Depot website. Hard to find anyone to help me but saw 3 employees standing and joking. Finally another employee walked by and I asked if anyone worked in lighting and he said he could help. He had no idea how to find out which switch would work and just stood there saying nothing. I left the store and bought one elsewhere. Terrible service.

Terrible service. My elderly father and his wife went to home depot yesterday and could not initially find 1/4 inch drywall. So he asked for help. A lady working there said they don't carry it. He said you do, it's on your website. She continued to walk away and tell him "we dont carry it. " He is about to walk out and finds it. Then it was too high up that his wife could not grab it so my father carried it on his own. A worker stated he would give him a hand with it and he disappeared. Thankfully someone in the parking lot that DOES NOT WORK FOR HOME DEPOT helped him load it in his truck. Shame on you Home Depot employees! Where was the manager and how are they not seeing their employees not helping the elderly? !

They could not find an order I had placed online - ended up having to order through a sales associate which is not ideal during COVID

Lumber is getting really expensive, for what is available.
But the condition of the lumber is far from quality wood warped, twisted damaged.
But what i wanted was limited an i had no choice but except it I'll do the job.
But takes extra work for me.
Sign of the times the rich get richer.

My husband and I came in looking for Lawn Chairs. We found the perfect ones at the Spruce Grove Home Depot!
While there we were helped by the nicest Sales Assistant, Eva. She grabbed us a clean, disinfected flat deck and ran for scissor to cut some strapping for us. She was so pleasant and helpful. A wonderful example of customer service. Thank you Eva

Every time i go to spruce grove home depot they don't have it. Twice today no treated 2x6 and no parts for there main brand pressure washer a total waste of my time and gas. You expect these stores to carry the inventory that other stores have but no. Maybe just poor management.

I went in and had forgot to switch my local store so I went to wrong aisle. I struggled to get the app to show me where to find sump hose. I went to customer service and they helped me find it in the store. When I was in line at check out the self check out lady called me over. And I didnt realise it was a self check out so I went to the wrong side of the till to do my payment card stuff. She was very patient with me and I checked out just fine.
Great customer service in the aisle where I found the hose too. Overall a very good experience.

Decent selection (unless you need a fan during a heat wave!). I just moved to the area and have been really happy that, compared to the Home Depot where I used to live, it is a lot easier to get good assistance at this store. It has made completing home and work projects much easier!

Big and spacious! Had to look items up on my phone to find anything, not many roving staff members to ask, ah well.

My wife paid for a product. The unit was to be delivered to Spruce Grove from (as it turns out) Ontario. After several days without the unit arriving, she decided to cancel the order and have her money refunded. When she asked to cancel the order, two girls behind the counter argued with her until she relented and so we continue to wait for the unit. But I, having witnessed the method employed by the two girls, shall shop at RONA or LOWES from here on. GOODBYE HOME DEPOT.

Why the F$%k the chick follows me around the store? ! This is rather antagonistic and refelcta poorly on the company!

I find the staff very helpful and attentive everytime I visit home depot, always satisfied with my visit.

Stopped in for some storage bins and painters tape.

In and out like a flash.

Salesperson was very helpful and the cashier was excellent.

Purchased white Behr paint for $54. Applied to small wall 8'x9' as 5 coats because it was not covering properly (old paint is light grey) and wall is still has lines and worst paint I have ever used. Store manager doesn't care about client and just telling same thing as robot. Worst paint product and worst customer satisfaction. Waste of money and labor.

I like the selection and prices at this Home Depot. Most of all, I like their paint. Behr paints is the only paint I will use. The staff in the paint department have been super helpful. I can’t always say the same for the rest of the departments because it seems to be hit and miss with the staff but in terms of selection I feel like they usually have what I’m looking for

Side note: if you’re ever looking for a nice area rug for a good price I’ve found some really nice ones here a few times.

Always great at the spruce Grove home Depot. The people in the plumbing and electrical departments are pretty good which is normally a weak point in box stores. If you'redoing a large framing project though don't buy your lumber from an indoor lumber yard. It's typically fine if you're doing a small indoor project.

Home Depot big-box American hardware store.you can get everything from plywood to a washer and dryer they have contractors that will install. Employees are very helpful

Wonderful service from a staff called Lynetta (I think) we needed a new dishwasher and we were advised on various models then left to ourselves. We decided and went back to the same girl. Non pushy, knew her stuff and very proficient senting up the final sale. Very happy customers.
