Associates were very helpful in taking the time to find my item up high tucked away behind a few other boxes.

Would definitely pick this home depot again for stock that is actually in when it says it is.

Spoke to 4 people, 3 young lady cashiers that had no interest in speaking to me and brushed me off, and one older lady at the customer service desk. None of them would look up if a sink was in stock that I had a sku & model number for and I was told they were not allowed to leave their station. I work in customer service so this was extremely disappointing to experience.

Over promise and way under deliver.refrigerator that was supposed to be delivered within a week is now three weeks later we still don't have it - don't trust them or their systems.

Update - fridge was supposed to be delivered today (Sept 15th), confirmed by cartage company (Kore Logistics) the night before and yet this morning we get a text from them saying "truck broke down" and delivery will have to be rescheduled.this whole order and process has been a nightmare and never again will we order appliances from Home Depot.

Had a bad experience with fort sask location.needless to say I got ahold of marshal (sorry if spelt wrong) explained what had happened and unfortunately could not do as good as they "promised" but still was extremely helpful even being 4 min from a meeting he went above and beyond to satisfy my needs of getting my toolbox in red that I wanted for close to the price that was promised but not fulfilled so thank you marshal and the very kind and funny cashier that I dealt with definitely got me in a better mood and I can promise I WILL be back to buy more products from this location you two should be proud of yourself's and keep up the same work ethic as today as many more will get to see your guys hard work once again thanks and see you soon for my toolbox!

Update.
Another shopping adventure and this time dealt with Kristie in doors. She too was fantastic. Very friendly, helpful and went out of her way to help me. Also a young man in appliances was also wonderful to deal with, sorry forgot your name. Best staff ever

I received excellent service from a really nice man named Mike in the lumber department. He went above and beyond to assist me. I couldn't have bought what I needed without his help. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Thank you Mike I really appreciate everything.

The frustrating and huge negative about this store is it is not disabled friendly. Several aisles are blocked for someone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Makes it impossible to get around and shop down some aisles

Was walking around the paint section and needed help finding something. An older lady was stocking shelves in the paint area, watching me for a good 5 minutes wander around. I approached and said I had a quick question.she immediately said she didn't work in this section and I was to go find someone else. I completely understand that. I understand certain employees are assigned to specific areas and know alot more about those products. But the way she responded was so incredibly snarky and rude. An easy and polite "sorry I don't know much about these products but the lady at the front paint desk would be more than happy to help and answer your question" would've been great. 1 good thing in this review is that they allow dogs. My pup loves to visit the employees and most are very happy to see her and interact.

Let's start with the positive, its clean and well staffed. The help is moderate to well trained, but sometimes a little misguided. I frequent the tools section and building areas, as a contractor. My one major negative is the heavy footed urge to push you off to another section or staff member. Understandably, most of the employees are not tradespeople. So expecting definitive answers might be a bit much. So I leave the review there, an above average supply depot. I keep coming back, so I think its more than adequate for most DIY enthusiasts.

I've been in this location a few dozen times while I have been renovating a house I bought recently and was treated very well by Deb from the paint department. They gave me a refund on a large paint order that didn't color match properly so very grateful for that.

Shout to the awesome customer service today. Website said there were 4 fans and gave location in store. Arrived to learn that fans are seasonal and put in storage in winter/unavailable. Multiple service staff took it upon themselves to try to find a solution; even went to tracking me down in the store after my initial query. Arrived at satisfactory solution. Could not be more impressed with so many people taking the time to make the best of the situation! Thank you.

Very disappointed in the rental shop. We booked scaffolding a few weeks ago to use this weekend and they canceled it tonight (the night before) making it way too late to find something for the morning. We had to arrange childcare for the weekend to be able to use it in our house so this is extremely inconvenient to find another time to do this. What’s the point in prebooking tools if you just cancel hours before pick up. Just starting our renovations so we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

This Home Depot was actually very organized and clean which I appreciated. The only thing that is extremely difficult in this place and I’m sure it’s just a Home Depot thing across the board, but it is very difficult to find help.

I appreciate that they have self checkouts for people picking up a couple little things.

I am writing this review to show how disappointed I felt today with my experience at Home Depot Sherwood park 390 Baseline Rd.
I also had an amazing interaction with one of the staff named Marie! She was such an excellent lady willing to help me find a proper faucet. She even helped me suggesting a design that could work better for my kitchen on the main floor. She was super helpful. She is a lady with excellent manners!
However, the interaction with her manager, Leanne, was truly horrible! Here is the story. Eventually I came up with a faucet that was available online but not in store. Then, I asked Marie if I could do the price match on that since the Canadian Tire had the same item at a lower price. Because that faucet was not available in the Home Depot store at that time, Marie kindly took me to her manager, Leanne, because she knew how to process the price match on the system when the item is not available in the store. Leanne sat behind the computer and searched for the item on Home Depot and Canadian Tire. The one on Home Depot had the model number but the one on Canadian Tire didn’t have a model number on the webpage. BUT Leanne mentioned these two are not the same and we cannot do the price match! I told her how would you know these are not the same? They are exactly the same, same names, just look at the pictures and read the specifications.
She replied “they have Different model numbers”. At this time I was surprised and asked her where the model number was on the Canadian Tire website? To my surprise she pointed at the “SKU number” and mentioned this number is not the same as the model number we have on the Home Depot website. At this time I was shocked and said: “This is the SKU number not the model number”. Then, she replied she won’t price match because Canadian Tire has a different number. I was truly shocked why she would intentionally say something that is not true and she is aware of what she is saying because she has enough experience to know the difference between the SKU number and a model number!
I was upset at this time and talked to her manager Bonnie. I mentioned to Bonnie that on Canadian Tire we only see the SKU number and not the model number and if you see the names, look at the pictures and read the specification you will know that they are 100% same products!
Luckily she acted professionally and told Leanne that products are the same! Then Leanne came back to put the order online for me. At my place I have the main floor and the basement and I am starting to finish my basement. Thus I asked her to put two orders for me. To my surprise she mentioned that I can sell the other faucet!
Honestly such attitude is very shameful and unprofessional! Where have you learned to talk to people like that? !
I truly cannot understand why some people intentionally and deliberately choose to take the wrong action. Such a shame!
I wish Home Depot could have more staff whose more like Marie McDonagh who are genuinely willing to help and value the customers.
I attach pictures of both items in Canadian Tire and Home Depot for reference.

This location appears fairly clean, including the washrooms. They currently have a great selection of Christmas decorations out. Staff that I met were friendly and helpful.

I dealt with Alley and Bonnie, and they were very professional and provides an amazing customer service, dispute my argument lately with Alley regarding price honoring of Milwaukee combo, she eventually honored the price. And will definitely will do mire business with them.

Found everything we needed. Nicely laid out and reasonably clean isles.
I'm in a wheelchair, so handicap access is important - they could spend some eye to the details for room down the isles - especially when you need to pass another shopper - frequently have to stop and back up to give them room to pass. Apparently simply apologizing and waiting your turn isn't enough anymore.
However, on the up side, the entrance and exit doors are easily accessed on motion sensors and the washrooms have an electric button to open the door into the room.
Down side - only 1 handicapped stall and it is quite often in need of cleaning and or maintenance. Hopefully next time will be better.
I do like the market on Wednesdays, so when I remember to go it's always enjoyable.

Typical home depot. Professional staff. Tool rental service available. Plenty of parking. You can get pretty much everything for your home based DIY or commerical construction or landscaping projects. Special provision for construction contractor. Separate entry for commerical area as well where you can directly load your supplies.

Staff seems good but my one big gripe about this place is the fact that they will place open box items back with the new items and not disclose this. So you are paying the price of a new item for something used and more than likely missing parts. This has happened on 2 seperate occasions. Once with a door knob set where, when we brought it home noticed it had that sketchy tape up job on the box where you can tell it was returned by someone. It ended up not having a part with it which was required to complete our install so we had to go back and get that part from a new item of the same kind. I wonder if that new item with the missing part was put back on the shelf to be sold as new once I left. The second time was today when buying a new $300.00 DeWalt drill set. Bought it. Got to the truck and noticed, again, a shoddy tape job that was obviously not from factory. It was returned prior to me buying it. The item was not packaged like the new set was and was missing the DeWalt bag that it was supposed to come with. So I would have paid full price for a used drill set with missing pieces and other damages which were evident upon inspection like scuffed finishes on the drills and dust. Open box items should be disclosed to customers like every other place that sells open box products at a discount because they are used. I spoke with the returns desk and the excuse was "They are inspected before being set back" and yet there was parts missing on both opened boxes twice now for me alone. So if you have read this far make sure you look for signs of a tampered box. If the box has more tape than what would be put on at the factory it came from, stay away from it and grab a different box.

I love this place! Ok, the people here are friendly and will steer you down the right path in whatever endeavour you are trying to accomplish. I have bought everything from buckets to dremels here and have always found what I’m looking for, or found someone willing to help me. I have spent a good 2 hours in the store just drooling over things like a torpedo level that I want or whatever other tool that I don’t need but want. Truthfully though, great place to buy or rent tools and the staff is friendly and helpful. Just bought some wood glue last week to fix my fence, now what else can I fix?
Covid protocols are firmly in place and you must wear a mask to enter, baskets and buggy’s are sanitized and they have hand sanitizer all over the store.

Had to return a hot water tank due to manufacturer defect which was covered under warranty. Store was clean, Multiple staff offered assistance. Customer service was excellent.

We invested in 60" bypass doors on a flyer back in 2020 where they were $169.00 on sale. We ordered a set and they were late and then late again. Truly small problem for COVID. When they came in and we picked them up and brought them home I had my installer hang them to find out when we came home they were 72" doors, the over lap looks awful. Apparently this is my mistake because I have zero proof of the order. Please note the price was to be $169.00 as per the yellow sticker and in the end we were charged $199.00. Talk about being ^&$%) ^$ up the A$$ not once, twice but 3 times. This is a HH that does not truly care or are not accountable to the customer. The new generation X of Entitlement LIVE at this HH.

Hasn't improved. Not the place to go if you want dimensional lumber that is straight. Other local Canadian stores are much better for quality lumber.

Do not trust the only line shipping estimation. I have very very bad experience with this. Here is the story
I placed an order on Apr 23,2020 because the delivery estimation was before May 4,2020. However, I still didn't get any information about the order. The customer service said I only can wait for them to call me. Now is May 10,2020.my original cultivation plan has to postpone because the triller order delayed.

I went to go pick up something from Home Depot using their online order click and collect system. I wanted to shop local and they had the item in stock at a competitive price. On arrival they have a sign that clearly states the number and extension to call. They also had posted what to have ready to complete the transaction. After inputting the number several times it did not work. Somebody did eventually come to my door and take my order number. The item did arrive and I was able to get it. Hopefully they’ll clear their system so that it will function like it should. Then I’d give it a 4 star rating as waiting for the item took forever.

Every single time I come here I have a bad experience. A lot of the employees are extremely rude and seem to have less than no interest helping customers. Either completely blown off or belittled when asking a question.

It's Home Depot. It's great. Service is a bit of a gamble. But I'd probably say 70% of the people that work there are great and super helpful. The other 30% are completely useless and I'd get better service if I were to just talk to the product on the shelves. But it's not the 30% why I go there. Great selection of product and almost always great service.

Went in for baseboard and door trim. The selection of solid wood trim not stocked very good and not a lot of selection. Went over to Windsor Plywood. Home Depot still is very competitive and has a good selection of building supplies

Not only do they have wonderful products at affordable prices, but they provide amazing customer service every time I go there.
I went to Home Depot on Sunday, and picked up a few things, including a bottle of bleach. A kind sales associate named Pam showed me that there was actually a different type of bleach on sale, for half the price of the bottle I had in my hands. She lead me to where it was located, and was so pleasant during our whole interaction.

Do not order any appliances here. I bought and paid for a new stove in Jan with a Feb 15 del date. They called a few days before and said we can't get that stove. Went back and ordered another one with a Mar 5 del date.
They just called today and said they can't deliver the stove we ordered. Paid 2000.00 for an oven back in middle of Jan and still no oven and they can't tell me when or if it will ever come.
I live an hour and 15 min away
2 round trips there.
Guess what I will be doing on Friday again.
And this will be the last time and will want a refund and then will go somewhere else to buy a oven that can deliver

Update. Dave from customer support called me and my wife and he made it right.
We got our oven when he promised and checked in after to make sure it went well.
Because of the issue corrected and resolved we will be back.

Troy was a HUGE help. Locked my keys in my car in -30, came to Home Depot to find some supplies to help me break in to get my keys. Troy swooped in like an angel sent from above and showed us exactly what we needed and even offered to help us do it. Super helpful and courteous.
