At Home Depot they have a great selection of tools, hardware, paint and seasonal stuff, along with other many selections.
Im a painting contractor, for a few years now and have been purchasing all my painting material from them as they have a great selection of primers to finishes and great prices.

Had the best customer service experience that I've had in a very long time ANYWHERE. The associates' Holly, Jim and especially Sam were knowledgeable and beyond helpful in trying to solve my "project" challenges. Biggest shoutout for going over and above in helping me. 11/10

The staff is great and by chance you get the wrong tools they'll take it back, no hassle and no fuss. Its my go to for all my home reno needs.

Had what we needed but times are a changing and so is inflation woe we at this rate I will no longer have spare change 4 my piggy bank

They schedule the third party for refrigerator delivery.
No show and no phone call. We wait for two days and no results. Very bad experience.rude attitudes from managers and push the problems to their computer system.very socks management. Some of the supervisors do not even know what they are doing. If possible, no star.

Vendors, please beware. I found out the hard way that a manager here is not above throwing an innocent party under the bus, resulting in wrongful termination, in order to cover his own mistakes. A behind the scenes 'I'm sorry, I panicked' apology doesn't in any way help someone find a new job and health coverage in the middle of a pandemic.

I shopped this evening at the home depot on 6725/104st. I received excellent customer service from Alex, Iksan, and Satveer, cashier on duty. Alex gave me product knowledge and helpful tips. Alex suggested how to do my project successfully. Iksan gave me some understanding of my project on hand, his shift ended, he requested Alex to help me with my project. I am glad I received very good service from Alex and felt my visit to this home depot was worth my time. Satveer is not only polite but very respectable of her customers. In these difficult times, your employees are bending backwards to provide quality service that means the managers, supervisors, store managers and cashiers putting your customers needs first and doing their very best day in day out. Keep it up. Thanks to Alex and Satveer.

Not the type of place I'd normally review and generally it's very hit and miss on whether the people here are helpful or not, but Celeste in the paint department, super helpful for me today, very knowledgeable about the different brands they have and was able to help me get what I needed without any hassle

5 stars to the store at Calgary trail Home depot. Very helpful personals. I was given the run around at South common Home depot for more than 30 minutes; therefore I decided to try the store at Calgary trail. Thumbs up for the crews at Calgary trail Home depot.

First thing Saturday morning I had excellent service from Rene in the paint department. As a novice, he took his time with me to explain paint options for my project as well as necessary tools. Informative, polite, patient with my naive questions- he was an excellent resource for me. Thanks Rene! I’m feeling confident with starting my first paint project!

We went shopping at this Home depot on 104 ST/67 AVE, We were helped by Gary, in the tool department, Jas in the paint department, Justin in plant department, Diwakar in customer service. They all are very helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable, professional walked extra mile to serve us. Gary was helpful in the tool department, made it very easy to purchase the right tool, Jas was fast in completing her tasks, We found them so happy serving customers including us. Management must be very appreciative of their staff, so quitting rate may be zero. Keep up with your good work, Wishing you all the best.

The staff at this location are great compared to S. E. C. They are always in a good mood and very helpful.

We were looking for a BBQ. Another box store lost our business from two different locations. I was mad, my wife phone Home Depot Strathcona. She talked with Earl and we went. His knowledge was excellent and he was good at his job. We dealt with Cathy a order entry and she was amazing! Delivery was great as well! Such a positive experience!

The other day I was helping my neighbor with a small project. She went to Home Depot for four nuts and bolts. Couldn't be simpler, right?
The employee gave her four carriage bolts instead of regular bolts, won't work. Also, two different lengths. Then they gave her the wrong size nuts. I can't think of anything more that that could screw up. Was this done on purpose?

I do like the old Strathcona shopping centre. It's quieter than south common, and often never have issues getting something in stock. Not to mention the staff are much friendlier and helpful than at south common.

I've gotten really good deals here towards the fall on landscaping materials.

It's a convenient location if you work downtown. It can be accessed from either gateway or Calgary trail.

It's an okay Home Depot, though I'd expect more items to be in stock in a store this size. One staff member in the electrical department was a bit blunt and rude, but other staff members made up for his manners.

I will say that the staff is generally helpful. Most everyone knows what they are doing and at the very least they can tell you where to grab your stuff or call in someone who knows a little more than them. So staff is good. My issue with these guys is they are always out of stock on something. I've been using this Home Depot for 5 years and every time I go they are out of at least one thing I need. It is maddening. The other thing is that sometimes I honestly only need 2 screws or one thing to complete a job or as a replacement and they don't have that option. You have to buy everything in bulk. What happened to the days where they had drawers full of screws of all types and sizes and you could buy what you needed and nothing else. (I am under 40, not that old). I wish there was a small hardware store in the area for situations like this so I am not spending 12 dollars on a box of 50 screws that I will lose before I ever use.

Poorly trained staff. Took almost an hour and 5 employees just to order a BBQ. Better off with Canadian Tire.

The sales staff assigned to the BBQ area did not know the difference between propane and natural gas and initially scanned the wrong item.

The main selling point was the advertised free assembly. The sales lady did not know how to enter or book this. She asked another sales lady who also did not know. Then a third. Then a fourth. The fourth said there was no free assembly despite the advertisement. A fifth person ran through the sale but apparently did not scan for assembly. Then back to the first who booked a delivery. Time will tell if the BBQ shows up assembled or not. Perhaps not at all the way things are going.

Very good selection of products. Usually good quality. In store support has improved over the past few years.

There's a guy in tools who was very helpful but the home depot in the west doesn't carry some stuff like the east its a shame

I bought blinds at the Medicine Hat Home Depot and ended up with the wrong lenghth. The blinds were the type that can be cut to the proper width, they were cut correctly but did not extend long enough. I was in Edmonton and decided to return the blinds there. I was met at the customer service area by a young man that worked in the blinds area and he told me to bring in my blinds and they would return them and he would cut me the correct size/length, which he did. Once cut he asked me if all the hardware needed to hang the blinds were still in the boxes I returned as they could be sold to someone else who may need that size. I said I thought I had used 3 clamps out of one of the boxes, so we took out the three clamps from the new boxes to replace the ones I already had. I then went to further shol in the store for other items. As we were shopping the young fellow realized that the hardware was in the two boxes I returned and he went out of his way searched us out and returned the 3 pieces to me be fore I left. Awesome Awesome service!

Good selection of items and knowledgeable staff. Hard to stay 2m away from people in some aisles but overall it's okay.

Nobody knows what is going on in this store, all 6 employees that "helped" me were wrong on the products and location of items in store. Another customer helped me find what i was looking for.sad.

This particular store has more staff than I've seen in any other store. They hop to it and help you find stuff.

Just had Dwayne helping us is plumbing! Went above and beyond to help us find the right parts for my dad’s sink.even spoke to my dad on the phone!

Loved that I was able to see what I needed online and know where exactly it's located inside the store, aisle number and even the bin number.

Awesome service very helpful good selection with decent prices would recommend! And they are very accurate on there saw cuts!

By far the best self checkout out of all of the hardware stores. They are always right there to help you.

Been going to Home Depot for years since i was a kid with my day and any Canadian person knows the quality they have.

When arriving parking was quite then normal! People waiting to pick up curbside items! Going into store this time no greater or surgical masks! Didn't see the hand sanitizer! Felt like it was a very quiet store, had to track down a service rep to find what I was seeking! Was sent to one location, but wasn't the right area! Staff were friendly, that's most of them! The first person smelt like he didn't have a shower before coming to work, made me want to be nauseous! Found item &: departed quickly! Felt sick & discussed! Told customer service, what had happened; no idea if they did anything about it

Good location. I have visited multiple times after moving to the area. They had some great deals on indoor plants at the start of end of summer/start of fall. Service has always been pretty good with no major complaints there.

Great service, took the time to show me options asked questions to make sure he understood what I wanted.

Bought my awesome Christmas tree from here today for a very good price. Great service! One note: There was a very rude customer in there swearing at a sales representative he had singled out. Kudos to the rep because he remained very professional.

I went to this Home Depot today to look into some renovation supplies. We were helped by Josh in the flooring department, and he was incredibly helpful. He probably saved us a day of work with some of the ideas he had and the products he suggested. We were helped by a few other people in the store as well and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.

These guys need an inventory audit.
I went to this store to get a vacuum filter as it was showing 12 in stock online.
None was available in store and was told to come back the next day.
Next day, I went back and nobody was able to find it, while still showing 12 in stock online.
But people in Tool Rental Department are really nice and helpful. I would definitely go back for tool rental.

Not overly impressed with the Black Friday deals but they had what I needed for my condo reno at locally competitive prices.
