Absolutely love this store. Everything is fresh and delicious. I was shocked at the huge variety of gluten-free options in store. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem near McKnight and the Deerfoot. They have a lovely cafe here with gelato, pastries, and mains; including stuffed peppers, pasta dishes and sandwiches.
Their grocery selection is top notch with many items from Italy available. Fresh baked buns, fresh produce, incredible coffee (and syrup) selection, specialty frozen pastas and meats, a deli counter with meat and cheese, wide selection of olives and olive oil, huge eggs which are often double yolked, cookies, nuts, jams.
Well worth the drive, and the wait in their often long lineups. Friendly staff AND they now have an outdoor patio at which you can enjoy your cappuccino and gelato.

The meat and cheese selection is amazing. Lots of choices of pasta, oils, seasonings, canned goods, baked goods and pastry. The restaurant has a good selection to choose from. Supply chain issues still have some items more available.

Honestly, the best! Friendly staff, food is AMAZING, prices are very reasonable. The pastries are so good, and O. M. G.the coffee.bliss!

Great Italian market I'm Calgary. Been here plenty of times as it's also not too far from where I live. Good selection of deli meats, cheeses, pastas, oils, frozen foods. Pretty much anything Italian you may need for your house. They also have a cafe that you can grab lunch or some pastry desserts as well. Staff is super helpful. One thing is if you go during lunch, they get a bit busy so the parking lot does get full.

The lunch counter is very tasty and inexpensive. Lots of selection for Italian goods. The deli counter is excellent.

Such a joy to browse around. Brings back memories in the two times I've been to Italy. Great staff as well.

They have a bistro. Which they serve super yummy coffee. Got pizza, got sub, croissants desserts! It's just amazing! They also have a bakery oii! Soooo yummy! This brown round dessert is sooooo good. I wanna say it's like mousse inside. Gotta eat everything right away coz it tends to deform since it's so soft! Worth every penny! Cheese! Lots of diff kinds of cheese! Just amazing! I bought smoked salmon once! Suuuuper good too. I think its just a seasonal thing. Coz I only saw it once close to Christmas time! So flavourful! If you love salmon.you will definitely love their smoked salmon!

If there is a store that can set the bar, that others should aspire towards, this is it. Always super friendly and the array of available products is amazing. The best delicatessen in Calgary AND Alberto's pasta sauce is worth the trip alone. Love this store and the people who operate it!

Amazing food! I'm Italian, and my son tells me I can't cook Italian because I can't cook as good as the Italian store! Lol! And we love the fresh Gelato! Sooo amazing!

Always good for lunch. Good assortment of imported European fare. Just grab one of the Italian doughnuts and a coffee and you're good til dinner.

I loved this place, the Sausages and meats are excellent as well as a large variety of shelf items. It is now my goto Italian Market.

I love their hot food place. I always go for their lasagna. They are so busy however very efficient. Super yummy desserts too.the prices are reasonable.authentic Italian stuff! Never go wrong! Yum! Yum! Though not much parking. The tiny food place is open on certain time only. I can't remember maybe til like 2pm. Their items sells fast.
I've never been to Italy or nor am I Italian so I can't comment on the grocery part. However, everything looks super good. Oh and their deli part.oii! Yummy! I swear I go there and I spend so much money! It's worth it though!

This Italian Store is amazing! This is your place for high quality imported Italian food items. I also love their deli sandwiches and bakery. You just can't go wrong here and always welcome.

The place is Awesome and nice joint to spend time with friends and family: food, coffee, etc. It is our treat favourite place. Lisa and Tatiana are awesome and so welcoming; the rest of the staff too.

The store itself has some nice gourmet items. French food is also found here, yum. The service has improved so I am editing my review to 4 stars. It would be 5 stars except price knocks it down to 4.

I'm used to getting gretted by a loud and cheerful hello when I come in an Italian store. The before last time I was there thats what we got and it make your day more cheerful right away. But this time it was complete silence, I was quite disappointed so I got what I needed real fast and did not browse. Maybe next time I go visit the store there will be a change for the better so I can enjoy browsing and chatting with the staff. And maybe someone who works there will ask me if I got everything I needed or if I need some help. Sorry it was not the most welcoming experience.

Great little Italian store with so many options. Little bit pricey than the norm. Closing time is 5 PM I hope they extend it to a later time!

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. A lot of the food is either baked in house or locally sourced. The selection of meat, cheese, noodles, sauces etc you name it, is incredible. The in-house restaurant makes amazing food. Real homemade, italian mama, grandma, full of love cooking. The staff allowed to try samples of the gelato before purchasing some. They even have dairy free options. Some things are pricier than the norm but it's definitely worth it!

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.and they aren't rude when you pronounce the names incorrectly.they politely correctly say what you tried to say. LOVE this store. Great place for grabbing lunch.

Checked these guys out for the first time today. The sandwich I got from their deli was possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. So fresh and delicious. Also, spent quite a while looking around at their huge selection of Italian foods and even bought a few things. Will be a repeat customer.

Today was my first day going into the store and I gotta say I'm impressed! Lots of special meats and the deli and an amazing bakery with tasty goods. I will deffs be back!

Paesano sandwich from the deli is 10 stars. Bread, meat and cheese were fantastically fresh. I have also had their veggie sandwich too. Yummy. Picked up a frozen beef lasagna for dinner later in the week and it was 1 star. The noodles were horribly soft and over cooked, the meat and sauce were barely there and the cheese was light. $32 and we tossed most in the trash.

Went to the Italian Store on a Friday afternoon. Neat store with a lot options.

We decided to try out their pastries from their cafeteria. Disappointed. Cake was dried & old. Got a donut (can’t remember the proper name) was also cold & hard - seemed like what we tried were untouched for a few days. Didn’t even finish them.

Service wasn’t good. After a lady got us the pastries, she just left them at the counter and walked away (?). We stood there wondering what happened even though there were 2 of them working. They didn’t ring us through right away.

Also, food safety is questionable. A lunch lady messed up an order. Instead of making something new, she reused the bun & dumped all the toppings etc.back in to the same food tray & put something else on the bun.

Our 1st & last time visiting this store.

Number 1 Italian store in Canada nobody else can beat scarpone all the products are good quality and there are plenty of people working they are Italian so they can advice you talk with you in Italian as you feel like home highly recommended.

Specialty items are plentiful. You can find all the finest meats, cheeses, and fresh pasta in the land.

I love the Italian store I love all things Italian I have a bias. And if you have access to Italian antipasti, pasty and meats and anything that's European like that's great because you don't get a lot of that old world stuff anymore there's no big markets for it so it's nice to have it here and enjoy it and cherish that we even have someone running a business like that. I think everyone should take a visit there go in have an open mind and just support local and buy some of the things that are found there because they're unique they look great in your kitchen they are something to talk about for sure. Go try it you'll love it.

Pros - just about every type of food you need from this central European centric deli.

Cons - can be a little pricey but generally I think you get reasonable value for money.

Such a special place in so many ways! For some time now it's been our custom to go to their little restaurant for sit-down coffee and a gorgeous pastry almost every Saturday morning (except for during Covid closures). We've been cooking more Italian food at home as we experiment with the wonderful ingredients available in the grocery, pasta, cheese and sausages sections. I highly recommend you stop in for great coffee and a pastry, then take your time perusing the wonderful items the Italian Store offers. You can also eat in the restaurant or get take-out from the wonderful daily lunch menu of house-made Italian classics. The lovely ladies in the restaurant section will take good care of you.

Though it is not the cheapest, the prices are reasonable and the selection is amazing. The hard to find items are in stock.

Amazing selection of fresh Italian food. Their fresh pizza dough is the way to go for a dinner night if you don't feel like the time intensive task of making your own. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I don't know why but this place is my favourite italian super market for the Northside. Cozy, very good selection of cheeses and meats. A hidden gem.

Always great customer service. And I only go there once in couple of months and ladies recognize me. Love shopping there

I have not been to an Italian store with so many options. Hot food for takeout, pastries meats and cheese galore. Lots of food items and kitchen staples as well as dishes and other kitchen items. They even have frozen read to heat trays of their hot items for you to tale home. I remember as a kid going to a local bakery for lunch from school and it was delicious. There was a lineup to get in socially distanced of course. Great selection and friendly staff. Go for a visit.

Wow what an amazing place that I found by accident when I took a wrong turn. Chock full of locally made and imported products at very reasonable prices. I throughly enjoyed my shopping experience owing in large measure to the very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The store itself has some nice gourmet items.
The older lady who was a cashier was very rude. Time after time I hear people complain about the poor service and rude attitude of the employees that work there. Why are they still working there then? Hey management, get rid of your employees that are not providing excellent customer service. You must know who they are! Would give 4 stars for food 0 stars for employee attitudes.

Quite a busy place, I was there on a Saturday afternoon. I was looking for a product that I could not find where I normally shop. I found the staff to be helpful and the store to be well stocked, I will return, I want to visit their deli area again! I purchased the product that I went for too by the way!

The best and most uder rated Italian grocery in town. Has a great variety of Italian specials like burrata or guanciale on top of so many other delicious things.
