Back rooms have windows that open up the a relaxing babbling brook. Lovely walking path to town. Rooms can be discounted with rounds of golf. Wendy, the front desk manager went out of her way to ensure all my needs were met and had the best dog treats for Gracie!
This is the third year in a row that we have stayed at this hotel and enjoyed the fantastic Crowsnest golf course. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Complimentary breakfast was fresh. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a roof over their head for any number of nights
Rooms were nice and clean; beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff were the friendliest we’ve seen anywhere! Breakfast was good. We did the Stay and Play golf at Crowsnest Golf Course. What a beautiful, scenic and well maintained course. Can’t wait to come back next year!
This place was utterly amazing. We were there for a Family wedding and the service could not have been more spectacular. We had the Family Suite and it was perfect for the 6 of us! Well done Kanata Inns! We could not have asked for a better start to our trip to Alberta!
We moved to this hotel from The Cosmopolitan (Do not stay at the Cosmo. They have mice & bad management) and they were VERY accommodating! We were lucky to get a room at last min dealing with our stressful situation. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
This property is the perfect location for a weekend in Crowsnest Pass. The room was clean and spacious. It was exciting to see a ceiling light in the room - that's almost unheard of for a hotel room. The desk staff were friendly - and they gave us a cookie at check in! My shower didn't drain very quickly, so I was standing in a few inches of water during my shower. Other than that the stay was perfect.
What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are well kept and up to date. The location was perfect. If you are a golfer, the play and stay is an outstanding deal! All the staff we met were extremely friendly and personable. Seriously, can’t wait to go back…highly recommend the hotel and the golf course.
Very clean and well kept rooms with friendly staff located next to the Crowsnest River. There are river views from some rooms. I will definitely come back again next time and explore more of Blairmore and the Crowsnest Pass.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a friendly welcome from Bev. Room was spacious and very clean. Already planning our next stay and play with the Crowsnest Golf Club.
Four couples from Edmonton thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay and play package. Our third year of experiencing great accommodations and terrific service from all staff members. Thank you Wendy for helping in the arrangements.
Great place to stay. Staff are awesome, breakfast included and it was awesome (especially like the pancakes). Our room was awesome. Walking paths right behind hotel which is perfect for an evening stroll. Second time we’ve stayed here.
Wow how appreciative we are for our experience at this hotel! My dad and I just returned to Chicago from a successful road trip to Prudhoe Bay Alaska and we can certainly thank the hosts at Kanata hotel for assisting in making it work. Our car broke down after passing the border just before Canada day and the long weekend. We stayed for 2 nights and after after Wendy and Beverly heard about our situation they accommodated us above and beyond our expectations. Thanks to their kindness and use of connections our car was fixed in time for us to make a bucket list trip come true.
Nice people. Very nice room. Our dog loved it. Nice walking oaths by the river. We did some fishing in the Livingstons on the Old Man River. Will definitely go again.
Everything about this place is lovely, except what I believe to be their inhouse pet policy. On the website children under 18 cannot be left unattended, but it doesnt say that about pets. They have you sign the pet policy as you arrive. Eventhough you pay extra per pet. So my question is - does BCMInns promote leaving dogs in cars in the middle of summer? Dogs cannot go into restaurants with their owners, so where else should they be?
Overall Not bad for short trips. Would recommend over the other places in town.
Room Booked a Queen-bed room and it was a bit smaller than I'm used to. Had to ask for a luggage rack as the one in room was gone. It was quite funny when the front desk person asked 'are you sure' and 'have you checked everywhere'. It's like the room is 100 Sq Ft and I'm not blind. Room was on the lower level near the back so it got loud at night as the train rolled by.other than that it was quite quiet until 6-7am when workers leave for the day. Phone line in my room cannot call to other rooms and the AC panel cover and filter was damaged.
Cleanliness Room was clean, but TV was dusty.bathroom was very clean. The hallway floor had visible stains but overall the condition was pretty good. AC filters were dirty and warped.but again overall quite clean.
Walkability Walking distance to The Pass Brewery and IGA. Also has a trail for outdoor runs. 800m from the Community Fitness Gym.
Service Day of check-in, the person at the front desk was kinda 'meh'. Although acknowledged, they were on the phone for another 5-8mins prior to getting to us. So we moved our belongings out of the car while we waited. Asked for a luggage rack and the story as above.the next days crew were much friendlier and more responsive. Housekeeping staff very diligent.
Internet No issues with connections. If you are working a T-DVPNI for the GoC it will not work well as it is firewalled. Use your own work phone as a hotspot to connect via data. Personal phones and laptops had no issue with connection via Shaw Wifi.
View Not the greatest and definitely not a selling point. It across from a garage and the back is a trail near a river. Mountains are visible from the window.
Amazing staff, very clean, quiet, and they have a pizza place! They got me a room on very short notice and treated me like family. Thanks for everything!
Very clean hotel, comfortable beds, nice amenities, friendly staff, great continental breakfast, nice ambiance, coffee in the rooms. Great location - would definitely stay there again.
The hotel itself is nice. There is a pizza and donair place reattached to it. I stayed for four nights in a single bed room. The room is on the smaller side. There is also no pool at the hotel or hot tub. The complimentary breakfast is good and cookies at the front desk are yummy. My biggest complaint is regarding the checkout. I asked for a late check out for noon the night before and they were able to accommodate, but the next day when I came back at 1030 am (90 minutes before noon) from work to get a quick rest and check to make sure nothing was left in the room I found it being cleaned by one of the staff. Very inconsiderate considering I requested the late checkout and never returned the keys or told them I was checking out. They were apologetic about it but it doesn't help at this point. I probably will stay here again in the future, but will make sure the checkout times are clarified and adhered to.
