The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Crowfoot

Had a good time with my son here. Servers were lovely and attentive despite it being a very busy night. Only negative was we werent given a kids menu and therefore missed out on seeing all the kids options. Minor oversight. The meals were tasty and we both enjoyed ourselves.

Last time I was here, I had a sub-par experience due to a change in their recepie. This time, knowing that, I ordered something different and the result was an amazing culinary experience!

As always, service and hospitality was excellent!

The Keg Crowfoot should be very proud to have such a quality server as Katelin. I've come to expect good food at the Keg (and they deliver) and good atmosphere at the Keg (and they deliver) but with service it can sometimes be hit and miss at any restaurant, but every now and then you get a server that actually makes your dining experience better than you expected. Katelin did that for us last night. And we didn't make it easy on her. There were some guests who challenged her a bit and she stayed positive and came across with sincerity and genuine desire to give us an awesome experience. Sorry that I did not get a chance to say this in person Katelin, but you need to know how good a server you really are.

Service was great (manager, waitstaff and front, everyone loved their dinner but 4-stars because probably 40% of my prime rib was a wad of fat or gristle, but our children enjoyed theirs!

The food was delicious, bit I found it a little but too dark. Regardless, ait was an enjoyable experience with my family.

This is my go to spot for the keg, I go here often iv been to all the kegs in Calgary and this one is always the best one to go to, good food and service. Iv only ever had one bad experience at this place when I was put in the corner of the bar to eat, but besides that it's been good

Thankyou chefs! My pistachio crusted salmon was perfect, Mediterranean salad very interesting and flavourful.
The steaks (3 men 3 different steaks) done just right. Caesar salad was very fresh & tasty.

Wonderful experience! The service was great and my meal (baseball cut steak) was extremely tasty and cooked perfectly. The roasted veggies and garlic mashed potatoes were the perfect compliment to the amazing steak. The price is very fair for what you get and the quality of the meal.

Consistency is what was the Keg a great place for dinner. Service was impeccable, food was great, my steak was cooked exactly how I asked for.

This is 5star experience all the way!

We were at the Keg to celebrate my son’s 21st. The food, as always, was consistent and good. However, this evening was an absolute pleasure because our server Jeff made it so. He was funny, attentive, and engaged in good hearted humour with our boys.

You always know you are going to get a good meal at The Keg. However, Jeff made the evening beyond enjoyable. Thank you!

Decided on a little spur of the moment date night, ordered the Blu cheese fillet, it was cooked with love, I could cut that steak with a fork.
Service was pretty good, desert wasn't the best, but I would give the steak more then 5 stars if I could

Delicious food as always. Our server Kaitlyn was very polite and friendly, and got our orders perfectly. Will visit again.

Service was great and the food was the best. Filet Mignon was so tender and well cooked. We didn't have reservations so had a short wait but was so worth it. Highly recommend.

The Keg is one of my favorite restaurants and I've been to many locations. Based on my last two experiences at Crowfoot, I've decided it isn't my preferred location. I really felt the cost cutting there which isn't the vibe I want to feel when out for a special dinner. Other locations just bring the bread without asking if you "want it". The visit prior was a milestone birthday celebration and we were not offered the complimentary dessert. Yes, we were stuffed both times but I prefer the locations that make you feel spoiled.

The food was okay. Our last visit was to celebrate early for Father's day. We went when it just opened up, and we were the the second group going in. Our food came in almost an hour. Was shocked at the price, but I believe that's everywhere because of inflation. The waitress was kind and patient with us. No issue with the servers.

Excellent food and service, the drinks were also top notch. Was quite impressed, would definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful afternoon with appies and wine. Our waiter was awesome and we got a lovely dessert on the house for our anniversary. Highly recommend shopping by before or after a movie.

I would rate it higher if the price and service reflected each other but it's a commercial place and not the most updated.food was not bad and portions were good but still not for the price

We often visit the Keg. I mean monthly at least. Enough that we know the menu.

We ordered. My daughter had medium rare. I wish I had taken a photo, at the two times we had to return it. Blue rare anyone!

I promise we are not those people.

We ended up being there for an hour. They offered to cook it again. We didn’t want a new steak. Just throw it on the grill. Second time. Still super rare.

When they brought it back, see photo. Also—they didn’t offer to replace her untouched meal that sat for 1/2 hour, soaked in blue rare steak juice.

My shrimp wasn’t deveined. We photo. Gross.

My steak was super rare too.

They did offer to comp the meal, and I declined. I declined because we didn’t go there to cause a stink, get anything for free, or as I said early, to “be those people”.

We get it. Things do happen! But this was nasty. And three things. Also—when they returned my daughters steak—have a look—burned/charred and raw in the middle.

We didn’t finish our meals. We didn’t do dessert. We left. Quietly.

We tip well—and of course we still did, and I left cash for our meals and then some.

What has happened to the Keg Crowfoot? It’s always been our tried and true.

***Update: A manager from crowfoot Keg called and offered (and mailed) us a $75 gift certificate. We didn’t want anything for free, but he did mail it—not too sure when/if we will use it though, it was a gross experience

We had our third marriage anniversary with them. They were so much cooperative in helping with my surprise cake and gift and we the the best stake ever there. I'm so much satisfied with my choice️

Here's my order for today.peppercorn steak and lobster (it's not on the menu) but boy! You gotta try this.plus, service was excellent with Tony.

The two stars I am leaving is for service and for actually providing food that is barely edible. The steak was dry, the lobster was horrible, their handmade cream soda was basically just carbonated water so I expressed my concern to my waiter but he just came back with the exact same thing. Fry's were cold.

I really like the Keg its a great restaurant and the food was excellent. I was disappointed that the room needs a thorough dusting of blinds, walls and duct work above. Generally these are the first signs of a bigger underlying problem. I hope that's not the case as our meal was excellent.

Went to the keg for my anniversary. Incredible service and excellent food. Sat out on the deck. The patio is covered so great way to stay cool and be outside. Love that the staff are still wearing masks. Just gives you that extra safety during covid. Excellent job!

Ordered take-out for my husbands birthday. The food was incredibly delicious and still hot by the time I got home. Nothing was soggy, including my daughters fries. The service experience was also incredible with the food brought out within a minute. Thank you to Russ and staff at this location. Also, felt very safe seeing all employees masked up.

This place is phenomenal. One of the top places I have ever been worldwide. Quality of food was superb, taste and texture was near perfect.

The food tastes great here. We ordered different types of stakes and they were all great. Staffs are very nice and cosnsider all your requests.

The steak was great and the service was also very good. With the price of food rising by the day, be prepared for a not-so-pocket- friendly bill.

Good variety on the menu. Tasty meal (had salmon). Prompt service. Pandemic precautions in place.

The filet minon was so good. Chris our server was great. The first day of indoor dining and this establishment handled it so well.

It was our 35th Anniversary and we booked the patio as our only dining option. Mgr James contacted us that due to inclement weather the patio would not be available and of course
no inside dining. We ordered thru

Service, pricing and quality were all great. Price is self explanatory. If you're not expecting to spend a few hundred on a good meal, the Keg may not be the spot for you. This is my opinions however. If you're doing applies and a meal each, you will get into a couple hundred dollar dinner pretty quickly.

My family and I were celebrating a property purchase and we ordered bacon and scallops as well as mushroom Neptune. Both were great. Then steak and lobster as well as prime rib. Unfortunately my prime rib was over cooked but the manager was quick to replace my meal. I went with the sirloin Oscar no shrimp double scallops and it was perfect.

Given the fact I had to wait for the meal the manager took care of my wife's meal as well as my own.

Overall we left very satisfied, and the manager was unaware we visit the keg in Winnipeg fairly often.at least 10 or so visits a yea

Great atmosphere, server was direct with recommendations and when he would be around to help us so I knew exactly when to expect him around and the prike rib was great.

Great atmosphere. Excellent food and waitresses are great. Awesome CoViD protocols and I’m glad they are located in market mall. Very convenient.
