Perfect Fine dine experience. Right from the greeters, especially Anahat, welcoming and good to start a conversation, same with servers, and of course food is great always

Decided on appy take-out, never received our twice baked potatoes. Didn't bother to call back since we were 20 mins away. They need to double check, especially for the cost.

Food was spot on! Service was great, everything came out on time. Always a pleasure eating at the Keg.

Jared is the most amazing server. He was very attentive and had great recommendations. Food was well cooked. Fun atmosphere.

Third time at this Keg location this year and it was a great disappointment. Ordered an appetizer and it was late coming out - a fellow in a suit jacket came to let us know it had been missed being entered. Prime rib dinner was served cold. Couldn’t even let the server know because she was no where to be found. Came back 15 minutes later, topped up waters and left. Seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Found out about a feature menu towards the end of dinner, where usually you’d be told about it at the beginning. Not a great experience overall.

We have been to a number of The Keg locations, but two straight experiences have been very poor. We found ourselves waiting constantly for our waitress (both visits were during the week and not during busy times), had to ask 3 times for the bread to come to the table, the prime rib was below average (my wife got sick immediately after) and there was a very bad smell affecting the patio experience. Not usually people to complain but two straight occurrences that have been very underwhelming.

I always enjoy the food and service at the keg, so kudos to all for sure! We sat at the bar this time for supper.this time specifically, we loved our bartender. His name is Jesse. He was attentive, sweet, kind, polite and didn’t miss a beat. His energy is amazing and his smile is sincere. I wish more bartenders could pull this off … I hope the right people see this post. This young man deserves recognition!

This is my second favourite location aside from the West end location. Food is good and always consistent. Nice staff and they get you in quickly. Lots of parking which is nice. The West end location sucks for parking.

I went to the keg for my birthday dinner, we usually count our macros and maintain a healthy diet so this was my cheat meal I was so looking forward to. I brought my own bottle of organic wine that i like knowing that there is usually a corkage fee. There was about 5 staff at the front door, we waited a couple minutes to be seated (no issue at all with that) we were attended to by another server who advised us that our waiter was busy and would be with us right away as she gave us some water. Finally our waiter came and took our order (still no issue with the wait or service). Shortly at that the manager walked by and stopped and said "hi, can I see the label on that bottle". I proceeded to turn the bottle so he can see the label and tell him that we brought our own wine. He then very rudely tells me that they charge a $30 dollar corkage fee (on my $16 bottle) and that we can finish our glasses but they will cork it and we will have to order their wine. My jaw dropped and I explained to him that i paid half of that for the bottle and that none of the approx 7 or 8 staff that encountered us told us about this and that he needs to train his front end staff properly. He insincerely apologized but was adamant that our bottle be corked and we order their wine and walked away. Our waiter saw us talking to the manager and came over to ask if everything was OK, thinking we were complaining about the wait. We told him what happened and he apologized. The interaction with the manager instantly ruined my night.the manager did not try to build any rapport, show any sympathy or compromise. I continued to finish my bottle of wine as I was extremely frustrated with the interaction and thought - it's my birthday, they didn't treat us properly so eff it, im doing what I would like. The food was brought out to us (which sadly to say was AWFUL! WORST food i have ever had at the keg ever and ive had better food at cheaper restuarants.) At the end, they still tried to charge us the corkage fee that was double the cost of my bottle. Our waiter saw another manager and asked him to help us out. We explained the situation, and told him that if we had been treated kindly and decently that we would have gladly corked our wine and purchased a bottle from them but because the manager was so rude and that all of the staff we interacted with neglected to tell us about the corkage fee I refused to pay it. That manager was sympathetic and negotiable and told us this time he would remove it from our bill and that in the future that was their policy. I was happy that that issue was resolved. Unfortunately I still have such a bad taste left in my mouth for an absolutely waste of a cheat meal. My husband and i make better food with better quality ingredients at home. Not at all what I expect from the keg. I'm extremely disappointed and still upset about the whole thing. Definitely will not be returning to the keg.

Everything was JUST OK for a premium price. Ordered a 14 oz medium rare Rib-eye, and my order came rare. I was expecting a pinkish juicy steak with a nice crust. My steak was all pink, no crust and with lots of fat and silver skin. (About 3 to 4 oz of fat and silver skin.)

Great time out. Haven't been in years and it was still packed as ever which is a good indicator. Service and food was incredible. "Well done" to The Keg!

Way too many screaming children. My meaks were over cooked and under seasoned. Horrible atmosphere. Do not go here if you are expecting a quiet and intimate date night.

Us 3 had a wonderful late dinner at the Keg in Windermere Saturday night. Notably our waiter was excellent. I forgot his name but he wears a bun. The wine selection was very good and good prices. The meal was perfect. Everything came out hot, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Needless to say, we ate everything on our plates. We ordered French onion soup, escargot, pork and prime ribs. Thank you for a fantastic evening!

This was my first time at the Windermere Keg and also my first time giving the Keg a 4 stars instead of 5. My prime rib was a bit dry and over done. The asparagus was over cooked and very stringy. Service was excellent. They should seriously consider replacing their old worn out steak knives tho, very very dull.

Party of seven went to celebrate mom’s birthday two of us had prime rib. It was like chewing on shoe leather.

Wow! Portions have gotten very small and prices are quite steep. That's without dessert. My steak was not cooked as ordered. The asparagus and veggies were delicious. Wine was nice. Just bring a lantern to see your food!

I was disappointed in the food this time around. Everyone's stake was undercooked, and the flavor wasn't the best. The sides as well were lacking. The service was excellent, and our server did apologize.

I just find it rude looking around and seeing people wear ball caps on their head. Like where has the tradition gone? Manners? Nice place. Good food. People just have lack of respect with not taking there hats off at the table

The bar servers here are the BEST. So friendly, always remember you, and know your order before you even mention it. We love coming here quite often for this reason alone! Overall always perfect service. Food is always cooked to perfection. Truly great dining experience always

We ordered burger from kids menu for my daughter. But we said she only eats cheeseburger so pls add cheese, and some ketchup nothing else.when her burger came it was only plain bun and the patty. And I called the waiter and told him they forgot to add the cheese and the ketchup, and asked him to take it back for cheese and make sure the cheese is a bit melted. He brought back the burger with a totally not melted even very cold cheese and on top of the cheese lots of ketchup. Honestly Nobody would eat it that way. Of course my daughter took a bite and hated. And I told this to the waiter and he saw there was only one small bite. He said sorry for this but we were still charged for it. Never going back after this for sure.

It’s been so long since last time I visited Keg. Tried out this new location in Windmere. Went for a birthday dinner around dinner time. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant is quite dark but I guess that’s how all the restaurants are. Menu changes quite a bit because a lot of veg and appetizer are seasonal. But for salad, their iceberg salad is always a must order, you can never go wrong. Service was decent, it was slow at times but I guess cuz they were quite busy. My favorite dish of the night was the steak with bone in and lobster full meal. Both have really good flavor and cooked perfectly. But if you want lobster, you should go soon because it a seasonal dish! Overall the food was pretty good, lost choices for kids menu too and they gave kids free veggie fruit plate before starting. Go try it out!

The last two visits to the Windermere Keg were not impressive. I was there last night for my birthday & I had the Oscar Sirloin. Both times the steak was tough & last night I gave up & gave it to my Mom to make soup, as I did the previous visit. The service was not impressive either. We asked for more bread & it took so long, we asked another waitress. She was rude to my Mom with her reply. Our reservations were for 4: 30 & it was not busy at all. Kindly note, our servers were polite. One of the servers was training. I will NOT be attending the Keg any time soon.

The keg is usually consistent. It’s never amazing but satisfactory and the service is usually great. However our dine in experience this evening was Very disappointing.we had a reservation but the hostess told us they only had tables in the lounge. Which was strange, The restaurant was the slowest I have ever seen a keg on a Saturday night. Our server really tried to push the alcohol and seasonal lobster up sell, Which wasn’t for us I prefer crab over lobster. Also neither of us drink.which is why we requested the dining room over the lounge.our appetizer showed up before our bread (typical for the keg) I miss the sourdough and whipped plain butter not a fan of the focaccia and herbed butter. Our server took our order and that was the last we saw of her for an extended period. We both the keg classic prime rib and the starter salads arrived on the warm side, they usually serve it chilled, the dressing was weak which is strange it’s usually really tasty. The prime rib took a while which was fine but when it showed up but we never received steak knives, no big deal wr flagged down a server from another section and ad requested cutlery, they returned with ONE knife, not sure if we where suppose to share. We then flagged down another server to request a second knife. Which took a lot longer than anticipated but finally It did arrive.
Our Prime Rib did come out medium rare which is what we asked for but at this point was cold (room temp). Very disappointing but what was worse was that the steaks where BLAND! No steak spice seasoned crust on the outside, I can say I have never had to add salt to a keg steak before tonight. Also I have never sent food back but I would have tonight if I could get my servers attention. At this point We where starving and just ate the cold bland steak.half way through our server finally showed up to refill our water. We wouldn’t see her again until she came around to see if we wanted desert, we declined and I asked for the bill. I don’t know if she didn’t hear me but we waited for a solid 15-20 minutes, the gold medal WJC game was on so at least that helped pass the time, finally we received our bill. And had to make polite small talk while the payment machine had to be rebooted. Overall just really disappointing experience across the board

Went for supper and was very disappointed with the steak that was served, asked for well done and it was still bright pink, they recooked it and it was all burnt.not pleased.your whole marketing is about steak, should cook it right.

Our server Danica was great. Very attentive. We went for a birthday table of 3. We had the fried cauliflower appy which was a huge portion and very good. All three of us had steak. I had the top sirloin with shrimp, the flavour was very good but the steak was a little tough. The ambiance was nice and seems family friendly.

The dishes are exceptionally good! I went to a few KEG locations and the dishes never taste this good before. The servers are friendly. Since we have small kids in our group, we sat in a quite corner. The server didn't forget us and keep checking if we are doing okay.

This is our favourite location. It’s a new location, it’s huge. Nice patio never a long wait And always great service. Food comes quick and so far never had anything come out wrong. Steak is always perfect.

This was our second time eating here in the last few weeks and both times we had to send food back. Bland tasteless food and plating needs work. I could of whipped up a better meal at home. The only plus was the manger removed the items from our bill. Safe to say our dining at the keg has come to an end.

Used to be 2. Bait and switch is not appreciated. After twice in a year no more.

Reservations were made. Seated immediately upon arrival after vaccination verification. Our server Kara provided us with menus and told us the specials of the day then took our drink orders. My wife had water and I ordered the Keg size Margarita. Drinks were delivered in 5 minutes which was good considering the restaurant was full. My drink was not Keg size (2 oz pour of tequila and it also lacked Cointreau.
We placed our mains order and they arrived about 20 minutes later very good timing. My wife ordered the 7 oz filet and I had the 12 oz.baseball top sirloin. Both were medium rare as requested. I cut a few pieces and the sinew was throughout the steak which made it very chewy. Kara checked in on us and my wife's steak was perfect and I explained the sinew problem. 3 minutes later the manager came to our table and I explained the sinew problem and showed him multiple examples. He apologized and said my steak would be comped. I thanked him. I could not finish my steak and left a good portion on the plate. The glass of red wine I ordered was ice cold not room temp like it should've been! Kara was a gem with her service and her promise to talk to the manager about my steak. Thanks to the manager for comping my steak but I'd rather have an edible steak without having to wear out my jaws.

It's a beautiful location and the menu is standard Keg fare. The staff were all adhering to the Covid-19 protocols and ensuring capacity limits were enforced.

The service wasn't the best and didn't make for a favorable customer service experience even with the staff saying it was a slower than usual Saturday.

Perhaps an off day, but based on the experience, I for one will not be returning.

Experienced excellent quality service from the manager Tracy. I would definitely recommend this location for the best keg experience.

Pretty disappointed with the service from the manager tonight. We were trying to order a nice meal for pick up. We have ordered pick up many times, and each time we ask for an order of the escargot, understanding it doesn't look pretty. Every time we've done this, the manager has laughed nicely and said it was no problem, as long as we were okay with it not looking pretty.

Tonight, the manager was extremely rude. She stated they don't offer the escargot for take out. I nicely explained that I know it doesn't look nice, but it's my favourite thing and we've ordered it before. She gave a big sigh and, with a ton of attitude, said "they dont WANT us to do that. It doesn't look nice. But fine, I'll do it". Her tone was extremely rude. I was really taken aback by her attitude, because I was being really pleasant, and have always had nothing but good experiences here. I then stated, "that's okay, we'll go somewhere else, I'm obviously annoying you. " She then tried to backtrack and state that she was only trying to make sure I had the best product available, but it was obvious she thought I'd let her speak to me in such a condescending tone without calling her on it.

Needless to say, we'll take out $150 we would have spent here and have our special dinner from somewhere else tonight that speaks to their customers with a basic level of respect. I'm disappointed that this put a bit of a damper on our evening, as this was supposed to be a treat after experiencing some hardships lately, but I guess I know now that they're too good for my money at this location.

It's the Keg. In a box store parking lot. Just off the freeway. Pleasant, consistent and easy to park at. Not very inspiring.

Was ok. Expected more. Steak was pretty tough. Was a let down as I eat at Keg restaurants all over and this one just didn't compare.

They were out of almost everything we ordered, especially wine and spirits. They should have a limited menu of what they actually have available until they get their act together. They could even make the hot rum cocktail - all it needed was rum and butter! We'll be going to other Keg locations until the Windermere spot figures out their inventory.

I've never been to the keg and left disappointed. I've been to almost every other steak house in Edmonton and it's always hit and miss but the Keg gets it, every time.

Compared to every other restaurant in this approx. Price range the Keg gives you value, friendly and professional.

Only thing I'd add is another couple selections for plant based eaters as they often accompany meat eaters.happy wife happy life!

I visited the Windermere Keg on Friday night with close friends.the reason we chose the Keg is because of the high level of service and excellent food quality. This was not our experience. I reached out to management twice to leave frustrated with the experience. We will not return. Maybe another location will treat us right.

They ask for vax records, ID, and phone number. Good food but not worth the hassle of showing every piece of ID just to enter. Nice job government!

The food was absolutely amazing, thanks so much to the kitchen staff for making the best meal for my girlfriend and I! Also, the service was amazing, with Justin helping us on his first night as a server!

Ate here for our 10 year anniversary. Service was good, food was decent. The outdoor patio was perfect for the occasion though and may be the best designed patio I've seen. Ample heat with overhead heaters and a gas fireplace. (Was a cool September evening) We do have a preference for the Keg located in Tera Losa though, they seem to have that extra personality and effort that stands out. Server was friendly enough, she had asked if it was a special occasion, informed her it was our 10 year anniversary and no acknowledgment. Just making conversation I guess. Tera Losa location has always taken that extra special step and offered to comp a dessert or drink, even for an uneventful birthday. This is often declined as we are often too full for dessert. My food was good, did lack some seasoning on the Tuna Tartare and steak was fairly lukewarm/cold. The herb butter didn't even have a chance to melt. Presentation was great though. Would return just for the patio.

It's not our first time here but i realized it's my first time reviewing the restaurant. Everything is always soooo good. Today is my son's birthday and our dinner was made special because of the birthday cake that was given to us. Super love it. Our server Shannon makes it sure we had a good night. Thank you!

Been to this location twice now and both times have had a great experience. Delicious steak and friendly service. Only thing was that the steak was cooked slightly differently both times, even with ordering the same cook and cut.

Food was very good! Server was awesome. Only reason not for 5 stars is that everything took a bit to come out. Seems to have gone up in price a little as well. Ended up being about $150 for two people.

This keg is one of our favourite restaurants to go to for a nice evening out. The food is always too notch and service is as well. We have gone here for romantic evenings, fun night out with friends, and family nights with small children and we have always been treating like valued guests.

Fun & vibrant! We were celebrating a birthday and they accommodated our large group nicely.

My wife and went to the keg for our anniversary, we usually get steak but we tried the oven roasted chicken and it's terrible we both had one bite and it had zero flavour, I mentioned it to the waiter but did not get a discount. Just get steak that's amazing.

Great meal last night for our anniversary. Service was excellent. & a nice piece of dessert on the house to take home. A nice touch!

While the food and ambience were cool wait time was forever! We got there 8pm and didn't eat till about an hour later.

Just had my birthday dinner there last night and I have to say our server was amazing! Her name is Bailey and her timing was perfect on everything, it was an amazing experience because of her!

The food was great.

The waitress was professional and friendly.

The food came in good time.

Consistent service and food quality. It's clear that management and staff care about quality and guest experience.

Our server Ryan was excellent.the food was delicious. Complimentary glass of wine for my birthday.so that was very nice! A wonderful dinner.

My partner's first beer glass was dirty, food service was slow, and the lower end menu items feel tacked on.

That being said, our waitress was fantastic, and I quite enjoyed the tuna, filet and lobster add on.

My go-to place for bday and anniversary! The best steak in town and their service is beyond amazing. Going to visit here again soon.

Don’t eat here unless you like throwing money away.
The only thing that hasn’t gone downhill are the prices. We were disappointed with the serious lack of service as well as the poor quality and preparation of the meals.
Our entrees took over an hour to arrive and all the steaks were under or over done. No consistency whatsoever.

Don't know how a steakhouse could mess up a medium rare steak and cook it medium well - well done.

Dear Keg Windermere, your service is stellar, your atmosphere is top notch. As a steakhouse, I expect perfection or very close to it when it comes to the cook of my steak. I dined with you on the last day before our most recent lockdown and the 1st day out of lockdown, yesterday. My medium rare filet was blue rare both times. This last time, there was also an issue with my table mates cook. He wanted the blue rare and got a medium rare on his newyork. Did this make them uneddible? No. But having this happen in my 2 most recent visits makes no sense. You, are steak masters. You should be temp checking before serving. In a post COVID world, we all need to slow down a little.

Unfortunately my family ordered dinner from here Saturday night (last call). We order from this keg location on the regular especially for the yummy creme Brule. This time around wasn't so pleasant though.we had ordered the 2 keg burgers and a mini keg burger for the kiddo.beingg Muslim we asked for no bacon on either of them.after picking up our order and coming home we sadly noticed bacon laying on top. Naturally we called to speak to the manager only an apology was given. As a Muslim we cannot eat any dishes cooked with bacon or pig products so we could not eat these burgers and had to toss them.very sad over the customer service after being loyal customers. We will not be spending our money there anymore.atleast not at that location.

Best restaurant in Edmonton, our server Samuel was very accommodating during Easter Sunday dinner! Highly recommended!

I always recommend The Keg, doesn't matter which location.

However, I always have an even greater experience at the Windermere location. The interior is nicer and it's a newer building in a nice location so it has better appeal to me.

I can't recommend the rib steak or filet enough for entrees and a side of asparagus or mashed potatoes.

For appertizers my goto is escargot and if there is a larger group size like pre-covid I also recommend the calamari.

You can never go wrong with the house salad if looking for greens.

Desert, always order a Billy Miner pie, it never fails, always make sure there is someone to tag team it with you!

We wanted to celebrate a family birthday last week and have a family member who is medically mask-exempt. Tracy (Windermere Keg manager) and Troy (Keg head-office) were amazing at working with us. The customer service was incredible and made everyone feel safe and welcome. I highly recommend this location for service alone. Food, waiter and atmosphere were equally fantastic.

Terrible management, 8: 30pm reservation should mean 8: 30pm. Especially at a family dinning establishment and I’m bringing my 3yr old son who hasn’t eaten for the last few hours.

Don’t blame ppl for staying past the normal time, most restaurants during Covid have established time limits for diners. Use common sense and do the same. Save your money and go somewhere else where it’s appreciated more.
