The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Grande Prairie

Waitress did not get our order correctly, 3 members of my party were nearly done eating by the time the 4th entree arrived. Had to request bread 3 times before receiving any.
My wife didn't get her salad at all.
Was the most disappointing visit in all the years we have been going to the Keg.

It's a nice fancy restaurant that lacks better lighting and more menu options for vegetarian and chicken dishes. The salmon was great, and I would definitely order it again.

Well complimented host, conducive and favourable server, braised lamb shank meal with white wine was more than delectable, couldn’t ask for a better evening.

My wife and I had to leave mid-meal due to a medical emergency. I advised the staff that I would be back to pay the bill in a few minutes but was told that it would be covered and not worry about it.

All I can say is 100% class! Did not expect it, but certainly appreciated the offer considering the circumstances.

Fantastic service and amazing food. I found it slightly dark until my eyes adjusted, just in time to be blinded by sunlight when we left, but overall it was a great experience

Food was not 100%, I did tell manager about it. Was resolved and I will still go back. Very professional in handling of issue.

She was my husband and I’s host the other day for his birthday, and she was fantastic! Super friendly, and was really attentive to topping up drinks and making sure we had everything we needed, all before we’d even realize we needed something or were running low.
She was wonderful!

3/5 stars. Food was delicious (made the long wait worth it). Our server Nicole was great! But one of the hostess (wearing a black dress) was rude. She gave us a dirty look when we couldn’t hear when she told us she’ll lead us to our table the first time and repeated it with an annoyed tone. Other than the racist host with the trashy attitude, our experience was great.

My wife and I celebrated valentine’s Day early yesterday had the fillet, and the wife had the New York the fillet was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had 10/10 good job good food and good service!

Recently ordered from here for pick up for our date night in. The chefs who prepared our food took great care packaging them up. We ordered stuffed mushroom caps and they baked them in tin foil over the tray so they stayed hot and well formed. Our steak and lobsters were delicious and cooked to our specifications. Our dessert was frozen and took care to bag it separately so that it did not melt. Highly recommended for your next date night out (or in)!

Went to The Keg for dinner, we had a reservation so we were seated right away in the Bar where we asked to sit. Then from there the service went down hill. It was a very long wait to get any more help/service after getting our drinks. We continued to look for our waitress making eye contact but still she never came to check on us. Eventually got up and asked if someone could come take our order. Which the person said yeah I'll send some one over. Which did not happen for another 10mins which felt like an hour! Food was great but the service like so many restaurants in Grande Prairie absolutely sucks!

HUGE shout out to Olivia serving in the keg lounge this evening. Best service we have had since pre-Covid. Unreal. Had refills before we were empty, brought us salt & pep 3 times she absolutely makes sure her bases are covered, while also being fun and enthusiastic about her job. We were in and out with appies and dinner in less than an hour. What a great experience!

Was busy so had drinks in the lounge while we waited for a table. Great service, excellent wine reccomendation and food was cooked exactly how we requested.

One of the worst kegs I have been. I travel for work and hit up kegs across the country and the food here last two times was sub par at best

We went for a nice business celebration dinner last month the food was great and the service was wonderful as well consistency is the name of the game when you go to the keg nine times out of 10 you will have a great experience in the food will be the same as the last time you went I recommend the brie appetizer it’s one of my favorites you can’t go wrong with a New York steak for Oscar topper is wonderful as well

Fantastic service! Love the staff here. Atmosphere is lovely, and very cool that the bar is downstairs. Had the escargot, a bottle of red, the prime rib and cauliflower mash. Had to order more cauliflower mash because my daughter loved mine and ate it all! Prime rib always melts in your mouth - always cooked to perfection! And the Billy minor pie - no meal is complete without it. Thank you for also being so family friendly. Can't wait to come back.

The Keg GP is our go to for all special occasions. Birthdays, Valentine's, Anniversary, and double date nights. It has, for nearly a decade been the place we are most excited to eat. Drinks and service are always top of the line. That is still the case. But what is going on in the kitchen? The last three times, medium rare steak has come out the first time well done. Send it back for it to come out nearly raw. Of course, the service is impeccable, but we have left disappointed for three times and I highly doubt we will give it a fourth. Breaks our heart because it o has been our absolute favorite place to go.

First time going there in a long long time, will be back soon! Large portions, great flavors, and don't skip the desert as their creme brule is to die for!

Though the competition isn't tough, The Keg serves the meanest steak in Grande Prairie. A memorable experience, great layout and friendly staff.

Pretty disappointed in the quality of food, ordered sirloin Oscar with a side lobster tail, could hardly chew threw the steak. Waitress forgot my drinks and was very disappointed in my meal there

Extremely dissatisfied with wait staff deciding who can and cannot enter due to personal BS not covid BS. Plus the food was Mediocre for the crazy prices and steak was overdone last time I went.

When I mentioned my Shellfish allergy, the manager, Jennifer, took every extra steps to make sure my food did not come in contamination with any seafood or shellfish. She came to see me a couple of times to explain a few options for me. What amazing service. Really made me feel safe to eat my delicious steak Completely recommend this restaurant.
