The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - 4th Ave

Restaurant completely empty and they didn’t let us in because we didn’t had reservations. On January 1st. Not one person in the restaurant!

Brought guests from out of the Country. The meal was generally very good however most of the steaks were quite overdone. I ordered a medium rare and received a medium well to well done. Probably should have sent back but had waited a long time already. The rest of the meal and service was excellent. Disappointed about the steaks as we brought the guests to introduce them to Canadian steaks

The food is good but they screwed up the steak, we asked for medium but ended up with rare which is fine it still tasted good. The service by Victoria was amazing. I reallyy appreciated her sense of humour, she deserves a raise! She made us feel welcome and provided us with beautiful customer service! Thank you Victoria!:)

The food was absolutely excellent! Our server was adequate but seemed a little off their game.

The food was excellent, I almost took off a star because they removed our favorite appie from the menu. They no longer serve the baked brie. We tried the mushroom dip instead, and it wasn't great. Everything else tasted awesome.
We did have a concern about the service. It was lunchtime, and not busy, yet our food took a very long time. Otherwise, the service was good. Not above and beyond, but good.

Have eaten at the keg many times this time that was the best beef tenderloin ever!

We ordered steaks but they came out the wrong temperature. Great thing was they replaced it but took a while and after they comped our meal.

The restaurant is warm and inviting with great food and wonderful service. It's been a long time since I ventured downtown, it was worth the trip!

Always a Good experience here plan to spend 150 to 200 and spend and hour and a half. No rush wanted or needed here.

The keg is really going down hill i used to consider it fancy but not anymore. They served me my food 5 minutes after I ordered and the people across from me were wearing sweat pants. Just made a bad atmosphere.

We made a reservation for 17 people.
The service was very good.
We all ordered steaks and sirloin burgers for the kids. 4 days have passed and at least 4 people in the group still have vomiting, diarrhea and indigestion due to meat. Some cuts smelled good but others tasted very strange. A child continues to have vomiting problems due to the meat in the hamburger.

All good, I just think it was a very bad day for the meat selection and we were very unlucky.

The food was great with huge portions for a very fair price.
But our server Nathan was the highlight of the evening. Most entertaining dinner I have had in a while.
Highly recommended and ask for Nathan.

We’ve been going to the KEG on 4th frequently as we live downtown. Every time it’s a good time! Staff is so friendly & knowledgeable, food is always perfect. Thank you.

Honestly haven't liked the keg the last few times I've been but this time wow.

Came here for a Xmas party. Service was great. Couple items got mixed up but not a big deal with the size we had it was understandable.

I had the prime rib and a week later I'm still dreaming about it.

Fillet was thin and fatty. Unlike any fillet I’ve had at the Keg. All four of our diners had cold vegetables. Two others ordered medium sirloins and cooked entirely different. I’ve never had such a poor food experience at The Keg. Probably won’t be back for a long time. Eating out is expensive now and we just wasted our money tonight.

The ribs are juicy and well done, the salad tastes fresh. Food is present well. I would like to say their environment is quiet and enjoyable. The attendants appear at the right time and provide good service.

Went here on a business lunch. As busy as it was, either they weren’t staffed appropriately or the server wasn’t up to the task but I am leaning towards the prior.

I ordered the burger and after waiting a decent amount of time for it to be delivered, which considering the volume of people there it may be warranted, it came out absolutely burned to a crisp. I gave it three bites before giving up out of disgust.

The unfortunate thing is that after having our food delivered, our server came by 30 seconds later to ensure everything was okay. By that time I had nibbled a single fry. We didn’t see anyone again till the entire table was done their meals and we were about 5 minutes from the end of our lunch break. The “wish you would have told me” from the server was very rich. Sorry dear, when would have you liked me to do that?

After having my burger removed from a bill I didn’t have to pay and going in to the rest of my day with a side of fries in my gut, I count myself fortunate for my situation in life that I am able to never eat at this Keg again.
