The candlelight concert was in a cute, quaint church. Loved the ambience. The music was so beautiful sounded just like Taylor Swift’s music. I loved how im between some songs the speaker would talk about Taylor Swift. Highly recommend. You will love it!
Such am amazing evening. Only downside was the church pews were not that comfortable. 2nd time we went bought a cheap seat cushion from the dollar store. Worked like a charm!
Concert was awesome. Seating on the sides of the balcony is not great due to columns supporting the roof. Sit on main floor for this venue. Chocolate bars handed out at the end of the performance made 3 of the 5 in our party sick later that evening.
We had our wedding ceremony here last Thursday. It was INCREDIBLE. Pastor Ed and our sound tech Andrew went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect for us. Thank you thank you!
I’ve been meaning to check out the Candlelight Concerts at the Lantern, and when I saw that they were covering Joe Hisaishi’s work I jumped on the chance. I was pleasantly surprised that they are quite affordable, and the value I got back was triple the cost of admission. The musicians and the venue staff were lovely, and the church itself a joy! I enjoyed the view from balcony as it allows one to bask in the entirety of that beautiful, hallowed hall. I’m definitely coming back for more concerts!
My wife and i attended the candlelight concert here, the music was nice but absolutely expensive for exactly an hour of music, parking was hard and i think i have a back problem from the benches inside the church.
Came here for the Candlelight Concert. What a magical and unique evening. The Lantern Community Church is the perfect venue. As others have mentioned, the pictures (unfortunately) do not do it justice! The entire show lasted about one hour, which is the perfect amount of time. Also like how they segment the show and explain the different pieces they are about to play. Highly recommend!
Went there for Taylor swift candlelight concert. The experience was magical! I sat in the balcony and had a beutiful view of the musicians! Also, it was my first time sitting in a church for an event and totally enjoyed it! You can check out the tickets for the candlelight concerts in your city (US & Canada) in an app called fever. Enjoy!
I love the atmosphere this church provides for musical productions! It is quaint, seems intimate and gets one close to the entertainment, providing a lovely experience. I’ve attended 2 musical productions there and look forward to more
Before the concert. I might make a change to the review based on the concert itself. When people say parking is a beast.that is an understatement. I was 1 hour early and still could not find anything. The entire area is closed off and any true parking available is taken by residents (I can tell because of the snow left on the vehicles when snow had not fallen since yesterday). The frustration of the parking alone has left a sour taste in my mouth to which I am unsure if I could enjoy anything up and coming. My thoughts so far is that I will never attend anything here again.
Ok, really good performance. Parking is a loss of a star, this is so worth it.
