After a disappointing experience with the Canadian Appliance Source, I was very impressed and pleased by the service I received from the staff at the Laundry Store. Chase was excellent at communicating, ensuring I was well-informed about the appliance details and that all my questions were answered. The prices and selection, specifically for euro apartment styles, are better than anywhere I’ve found in Calgary.

Every purchase and every recommendation with these folks has been first rate. Our go to for any major appliance. Great pricing and no huge store games - just honest advice and great service.

Won’t go to Big Appliance after trying this store! Super personable and knowledgeable staff. It’s not about the sale for them at all, if anything the sales guy was trying to get us to go down in price because he knew it was more bang for our buck. Very competitive prices and it always feels good to support a small local shop

Awesome appliance store! Was in the search for a dishwasher and was helped by Kirk, who was very knowledgeable and showed us a few options. There was no pressure and we left with all the info we needed. When we purchased there were no surprise costs or extras it was all very straight forward. Installers were professional and did a great job. Much nicer buying experience compared to the big box stores and we got a much nicer unit for the same price point. Very pleased with my new dishwasher!

I bought a Haier 24" 2.0 Cu ft front load washer - dryer combo unit from the laundry store and they offered an extended warranty. I fell for it and bought the extended warranty. I had an issue with the unit and made a warranty claim in Nov 2020; three visits from the repairer since Nov 2020 and each time with a wrong part; they cannot seem to get the right belt for the machine. Stay away from w3solutions and Transglobal Service.
Disappointed with The Laundry Store as well for selling a service that does not work.
It is 20th of July 2021 and after 8 months, numerous email and phone calls, the Washer - Dryer unit is still not repaired.

Best kept secret in Calgary for appliance needs! Friendly and knowledgeable staff with no pushy sales tactics. We recently met with Alex Tarasenko to discuss our options for a new french door refrigerator. Alex took his time covering our options and was honest and personable with his information. The rest of the staff we dealt with for the transaction were also great to work with. Highly recommend buying from the Laundry Store.

These guys know their stuff. Very helpful and want you to get the right item for you. They were willing to answer tons of questions to help me decide what dryer I wanted. Much appreciated.

Sales people talk too much and provide minimal information. They claim the installers are excellent and do high quality work.

The dishwasher installer "eyeballed" the work, yet the dishwasher is not parallel with the counter. The installer put a screw through 1/4" plywood and the screw sticks out the other side where it will hurt people. Moving the screw up 2 cm would prevent the issue. Easy to do but the installers just don't take care to do a quality job.

Similar story for the washer / dryer installers. They claim to do a great job, but then install the units too close the wall. The hoses and electrical cords rub and wear out. Moving the units an appropriate distance from the wall prevents the issue. But the installers don't take care to do quality.

No need to shop anywhere else, everything you need is at the Laundry Store. Incredibly helpful people, case and point, recently I thought I would have to purchase a new machine as I had washed a rubber mat and my AEG machine would not finish the load I couldn't open the door. Glenn could have sold me on the spot a new machine as mine is thirteen years old which I bough from Glen instead he guided me to try a few things first and bingo it worked. I was fortunate I did not have to have the extra cost of calling in a service man which would have cost me $$$. I only wish I had known about the Laundry Store years ago when I was remolding my kitchen. However I since replaced two dishwashers from Glenn at the laundry Store. Keep up the good work Glenn and I will keep telling anyone I hear is needing an appliance.

The only place I will ever shop again for appliances. No more going from store to store. They are knowledgeable, friendly, priced competitively and the marquis for customer service including the delivery and set up. My stove needed to be moved in order to set up my new microwave. I asked them to give me a chance to sweep under the stove before they put it back and too late, the installers had already cleaned the area. Ended up replacing the stove a month later-painless and now we need to replace our washer. No worries-off to The Laundry.

We had a great experience here! The sales people were very knowledgable and friendly, but not pushy at all. The selection was great, very high quality products with great prices. Our original delivery of our washer was delayed due to illness of the delivery guy, but the staff at The Laundry Store made it happen the next day and we were so impressed! They were awesome. We will definitely be back for our next appliance need!

I brought my new Bosch dishwasher here last week, and I have to tell you that the staffs is absolutely fabulous. They are so knowledge about the brand and service is great and the price is very reasonable. I would definitely go back and purchase my appliances there in the future.

Our 1st and only stop for all things appliances. We recently purchased a new dishwasher from the Laundry Store. All the staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and made the entire process from start to finish effortless.

Last summer I renovated my kitchen. I stopped into this store to see what they were about. The owner was very informative and spent some time with me discussing options for a new counter depth refrigerator. He told me about a Moffat for $1890 that supposedly is a Bosch without the label. We also discussed washers and dryers as I want to upgrade soon (my dryer is limping along so that soon is within a couple months).

That same week I saw an actual Bosch at Lowe's for $2090 on clearance. I chose to support a local business that told me I would get assistance with warranty calls and great follow up care.

For the last few weeks the Moffat refrigerator has been making extremely loud knocking noises. I know that fridges aren't completely silent, but this goes on and on and can be heard from other parts of the house. I called the Laundry store and they asked me to send a sound clip so they could help. I did so that same day. 6 days later I hadn't heard anything so today I called. I was told they couldn't hear the sound clip. Unfortunately no one returned my email or called to let me know. At least they apologized for not replying and sent me a copy of my invoice so I can handle it myself. Really, the only reason to pay more at a local store is to get great service and support local economy. If one of two of those things doesn't happen, there is no point (except for the business owner).

I am now dealing with Moffat directly and like all these issues, I'm sure it will take hours and hours of my time. I'll buy my new washer and dryer from Lowe's this week during the sale. I will be selling this refrigerator on kijiji once it is fixed and buying a Bosch or Kitchenaid, also from Lowes.

Fantastic service, extraordinarily knowledgable, very informative, wide variety of European (energy efficient, space saving, advanced tech) products all very competitively priced. First stop for appliances for me.

Zo was extremely knowledgeable, very honest, and really helped me with a dishwasher replacement. This was all over the phone so I didn’t even have to go in! Unfortunately what I was looking for was discontinued and not available to be ordered in, but I’m so glad I found this store for next time I need an appliance. They will price match and coordinate an actual plumber for install. I was told I could also pay via a link sent to my email.

A few weeks ago our old decrepit washing machine cratered. The guys at The Laundry Store spent a lot of time helping us determine what kind of machine was going to be best for our family’s needs. We picked out a sleek European model with large capacity, and after a month of multiple loads per week, we are thrilled with our purchase. Our laundry is coming out cleaner and fresher than it ever did out of our old machine, and the machine is nearly silent, which we love because our laundry room is close to our family room. I especially love the extra settings for doing loads at hotter temperatures for washing towels, or for washing handwash-only items like wool sweaters. Thanks to The Laundry Store for the great service and advice – it's definitely where I’ll be heading the next time an appliance gives it up.

I never knew there was so much to know about doing laundry. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and willing to listen and answer any questions. They absolutely stand behind their products, only word of warning is do your research before you go European - it's not for everyone unfortunately.

Came to get an idea in price for two different brands of stackable washer and dryer and end up buying. The level of knowledge when comparing difrent brands is supreme with specific details about everything you aks. (Not the typical sales guy who learns the brochure and says the same thing to everyone). Thanks guys for keeping the doors open 45 minutes exta for us!

I just bought a new dryer from The Laundry Store and I couldn't have been more impressed with the knowledge and customer service from the employee (Alex) that I spoke with in the store.
I had done enough research that I was down to my top two or three options, but Alex took the time to educate me on the differences between the different manufacturers and the characteristics of European vs. North American washers and dryers. He was full of knowledge on the options and on the do's and don'ts of laundry to get the most out of your appliance - things that I didn't know and will be putting into practice from now on. They even had a sheet with all the laundry information to take home.
I had gone to a major retailer just beforehand and I felt like I had learned nothing but the prices they were going to offer. I even had to find one of the models I was looking for myself. So The Laundry Store was a breath of fresh air by comparison.
I would definitely recommend The Laundry Store to anyone who is looking for any new appliance (they sell more than washers and dryers). You will get great service and no pressure, since they aren't on commission!

They don't honor their warranties, or their installations. Refused to come back and fix sloppy washer and dryer installation.

There is something to people who are passionate about things. All the employees at the laundry store are super knowledgeable and have a passion for laundry. This family owned store is doesn't pay their employees commission so you never feel any pressure to buy a certain brand or anything at all. If you want an education on why you are doing laundry wrong then I highly recommend visiting the store. Oh and they have the best prices in town on all appliances not just washers and dryers.

The Laundry store’s customer service goes well beyond the point of sale. We purchased a washer and dryer from The Laundry Store over 8 years ago. At that time the staff were extremely knowledgeable and gave us lots of helpful information with which to make our purchase decision. When an issue recently arose with the washer, Glenn was so helpful, spending time speaking with me and helping me understand the issues the washer was having and possible problems and solutions resulting in the ultimate resolution of the issue – all of this more than 8 years after the initial purchase!
I would recommend the laundry store and their exceptional service to anyone looking to purchase new appliances.
